When will every soul realize that all humans are humans irrespective of their colours....... except for those with devilish minds. |

olumike001:I was in a very busy market today and I continued to imagine....."what if" this virus is real like it is in the US and other countries? We will be counting the losses maybe in thousands..... Who knows what is keeping us all safe? |
If other states get tested like Lagos.... the stats will be high....if these figures are for real though. |
These demons are deadly |
Such news can be heart breaking. May God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. RIP to the dead. |
..... that's the problem, the Nigerians who are top officials, can do little or nothing to change the companies' policies so that it will favour his people. This is a welcome development even though I am not always too comfortable when such decisions are about to be taken....so many times it's all about the brown envelopes. These happenings did not start today.... they learnt it from the country itself, that we do not have value for our citizens and we treat our workers poorly. |
sacajawea:Which girl be that? |
Olamide's tweet that is causing confusion to internet users. Some say he is shading Davido, while others are seeing it from another angle, that he is shading Burna Boy. What's your opinion..... who's baddo shading?

Shocking footage and photos shows the tar-blackened lungs of a chain smoker who was hooked to the killer habit for 30 years. Instead of being a healthy pink, they were charcoal in colour and extremely inflamed from decades of tobacco residue clogging them up Doctors from the Wuxi People's Hospital in Jiangsu, China, extracted the organs after the 52-year-old man, who had multiple lung diseases, died. The video, recorded by the surgeons, has been viewed more than 25million times on social media, with users dubbing it the 'best anti-smoking ad ever'. It was uploaded by the hospital with the caption: 'Do you still have the courage to smoke?' The patient had signed up to donate his organs after death, but medics quickly realised they would not be able to use them. Dr Chen, a lung transplant surgeon and also vice president of the facility, led the operation. He said: 'The patient didn't undergo a CT scan before his death. He was declared brain dead, and his lungs were donated shortly after that 'Initial oxygenation index tests were okay, but when we harvested the organs, we realised we wouldn't be able to use them. 'We Chinese love smoking. It would be impractical to say that we wouldn't accept the lungs of all smokers, but there are strict standards. '[We would accept] lungs from people under 60 years of age who have only recently died, minor infections in the lungs and relatively clean X-rays are also acceptable. If the above conditions are met, we would consider transplanting the lungs.' He said that medics may have also inflated the lungs with air or fluid prior to harvesting them for donation. This makes them look much larger than the normal deflated lung postmortem, he explained. Dr Chen uploaded the clip to social media with the hashtag 'jieyan' - Mandarin for 'quit smoking'. He wrote: 'Many smokers in this country have lungs which look like this. 'Our team decided to reject these lungs for transplant. If you're a heavy smoker, your lungs may not be accepted even if you choose to donate them after death. 'Look at these lungs - do you still have the courage to smoke?' According to a 2018 study by China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 350million adults (27 per cent) are smokers. In England, One in seven adults now smoke tobacco – around 5.9million people, down from 7.7million in 2011, when the figure was closer to one in five. Smoking is the biggest avoidable cause of cancer and is known to produce chemicals which cause at least 15 different forms of the disease. Evidence shows it causes around 70 per cent of all cases of lung cancer, which has the highest death count of any form of cancer. People are drawn to smoking because nicotine can make them feel good, but it's easy to become addicted and very difficult to quit once smoking becomes a habit. Smoking kills 1.2million people every year and people who do it are twice as likely to have a heart attack and up to 30 times more likely to get lung cancer. He knows his job and he does it well..... moreover, if not that some people enjoy intimidating others, he was not wrong with his write up. |
That's a good one..... maybe she would rise again... Heard she suffered family problems.... But David could have reached out to her without letting the world knows until we hear their jam... |
Irony of life..... she won a fighting spirit award..... but in real sense of life..... she couldn't fight anymore.... people have their weak points and they move about with chins up..... you wouldn't just know....so please no matter the extent of the urge, try to control your words and actions. |
Charity85:Go back and read it again..... it's a touching one. |
Charity85:If you were smart enough, you would have understood every error there and corrected them in your head..... so after reading through, you got nothing to say. |
paulolee:Guy, please ooo, you mean to tell me that you transferred money to the guy who hit the boy and he ran away with it......... If that is the case may that guy roam around streets and states as a mad man.....may he die as a mad man.... Amen. |
Abeg, ease a little more make I do my grandma's burial in peace..... me and my family are more than 10 in number (the required number of persons in attendance)...... We were already 65% gone......so give us small space...... |
It is obvious why your father trusted him more, he is a good child who has got good intentions for his father and family at large..... He is smart too, imagine him saving part of the money outside the home. Jealousy, hatred and wickedness has eaten so deep into some people and at the end of the day, the animal says he regret his actions....... what sort of stupid regret is that. Parents, well, it's not easy to love the wayward one..... but try not to be rubbing it in their faces that they are failures.... even though some of them can be a pain to the áss. You are not a friend if you can't advise against evil. |

The age-old perception that apple is a special fruit that can only grow in specific parts of the world has now come under scrutiny as the land of Wiamoase in the Ashanti region of Ghana is currently supporting not only the growth of an apple tree but also its amazing fruit-bearing. The trailblazing apple tree went viral recently after its photos were posted on Facebook by one Barima Nana Osei Bonsu with a caption: “The young girl who planted the seed died five years ago, that’s the family attached to the picture. Unless proven otherwise, five years after cultivation… that’s the tree in the picture as well. WIAMOASE-Tanosi, ASHANTI.” It has now come to light that the lady identified as Nana Ama Asantewaa who planted the apple tree out of curiosity died sadly five years ago. Reports say she damned the perception that the fruit is an exotic breed and does not grow in Ghana and curiously planted the seed and kept nurturing it before her sad demise after falling ill. Nana Osei Bonsu who first posted a picture of the Apple Tree with the hanging fruits told Starr News the late Asantewaa was concerned about the welfare of her parents. “She died five years ago. A few years after planting the seed she fell ill. She was concerned about how the family was going to live because they are poor so the family believes this is her way of helping them,” he told Francis Abban Monday. Osei Bonsu added Agric extension officers are heading to the area to study the nuances around the fruit and if it could be grown in other areas of the country. The perception has always been that apples only grow in temperate zones and cannot survive in Ghana or Africa due to the hot temperature that prevail here. In 1870, Tetteh Quarshie undertook a voyage to the Spanish colony Fernando Po (now Bioko in Equatorial Guinea). About six years later he returned to Ghana with several cocoa beans (the Amelonado) and made history. The export of cocoa from Ghana began in 1891, and the official export in 1893 (two bags exported). Now, cocoa is the major export crop of the Ghanaian economy. If it is found out that the Ghanaian soils are capable of supporting the cultivation of apples, the scare and expensive fruit may become one of its major export crops just like cocoa.
