ajobes: Somany of them. ranging from science and tech, Law and order, Medicine, economy and politic, psychology, astromony {which is even the subject matter of this topic or thread}, physic and chemistry, relationship, property dev, etc....Winston Churchill in 1899 wrote:How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, illiteracy and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property for sexualpleasure – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that God sheltered Christianity in the strong arms of science, technology&inventions, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome. |
eedriyz: AMERICA is making it up. Hope we'll see more light soon... All of us are in darkness. Why shouldn't they arrest Bin laden? At least they found and killed him unarmed. What about Muhammed Yusuf who was killed in the Police custody? America made a prophecy in 1999 that Nigeria must break before 2015, how will we get tired before then if BH are not in the film. They saw love (even if it was never a true one) and sensed their mission is impossible. I hate to say these words.seriously, do you have to blame America for everything?very soon u wil blame them 4 including Jihad&sharia in ur book. |
IBB should stop patronising us. Use all your stolen wealth, influence, affluent&power to fight Boko haram. All these GRAMMER of public condemnation&denial are rubbish and sickening. Come out and fight d sect with all your might then we will know that u not scheming. |
afam4eva: For some reason, whenever the Nigerian anthem is being played i just don't feel anything. But whenever the US anthem is being played, it moves me. I get close to tears at times. Mind you i've never been to the US in my life. Why don't i feel anything when the national anthem of Nigeria is being played? Even the South African anthem moves me.you are write. not that I hate d Nigerian anthem, but I'm more moved by d south Africans'. I even know d lyrics,d writer,d composer, d year, no.of countries that sing it etc..I have never bothered to research on that of ours. |
Super1759: This man should stop talking out of annoyance. He should be praying and not looking at the issue from the surface. GEJ isnot sleeping on the matter either. Anyway,he is overwhelmed like NL server most timesif the bread winner of ur family is killed by these people u too will say worst . Idiots! |
rainbowman: Most of your statements on this forum originate from factual errors. Was it proved anywhere that Mr President said anything like that and even if it of were he is just trying to douse already frayed nerves. Unleashing the Army to deal with Boko Haram will definitely lead to alot of innocent people getting hurt for something that they never knew about. In fact that is the difference between fighting state actors and non state actors. These Sect members do not have conventional uniforms, weapons, leadership structure or even equipment. They diffuse into an environment after their acts and this is not even helped by some residents who purposely hide them. Unleashing the Army would mean KILLING anybody that was in the vicinity of a point where an attack took place and that is definitely unjust and would ultimately lead to government losing the war as well as the heart and minds of the local populace. Already some people are even calling for the outright withdrawal of troops because of perceived injustices such as what some of you are requesting for. More importantly, it is even more surprising that just 2 weeks ago the BH sect came out and stated what they really wanted, the resignation of the President and is conversion to Islam. This would have been laughed off in another country but one by one so called eminent Nigerians have come out in the media to request the President to resign. This is definitely a bad precedence. We are in a bad situation but we must realise that out security agents are on top of the situation and given enough time we would reduce these attacks to the barest minimum. |
The only way to curb this menace is for d fg to legalise fire arms by everyone. That's d only way b4 they wipe out Xtians in Nigeria. We are SICK and TIRED of public condemnation by fg,sultan senate, CAN,etc. |
