They would most probably be appointed a lawyer. My only thoughts are that the right people are trailed and no innocent person be roped in because of personal vendetta and malice. Believe me it happens. Let the guilty heads roll |
Some arms and ammunition are missing. That is the problem here. Where are they? Who removed ? Did they grow wings? Those are the questions to be asked. The rule of law must always stand otherwise there would be no justice. No sentiments attached, it's the law of the land. |
@Akinalabi WHY ARE YOU CLAIMING MY ARTICLE?I see what you mean now by you theory, but I doubt the morals behind it. I believe it's wrong to do that, you would be infridging on the publishers copyrights just the same way @cashstream did by posting your article without requesting you permission or giving you credit. I'm sure you felt very terrible. Now imagine how the owner of the video would feel. In business or any money making venture, honesty is the best policy. Other's may be looking for evil ways to make money, but it doesn't make it right. There is not difference between this and what 419 guys are doing. Or is there any difference? |
just like you are not the OWNER of 20million naira in your account except spend it.What I'm saying is that everyone one should have the right to be innocent until proved guilty. That is the law and it should apply to everyone. We are talking about equity and human rights, yet we want to crucify those accused without knowing the outcome of the court martial. If you believe all that the media says then you can believe anything. I'm not denying the fact that there are elements of truth in the news report, but who to blame can not really be ascertained. In the military there are scape goats, those who are made to pay the price for other peoples sins and they can do nothing about it. Most times the verdict for a court marital is already decided before the trial begins. We forget so easily how people were accused of being coup plotters in previous regimes, how the were incacerated, tortured etc. The truth is that we may never know what really happened in this arms scandal. |
@Olabowale The topic of this threads is quite clear and explicit, if you believe there isn't any godly standard to abide by when dating, perhaps you should start a thread in opposition. There isn't any need to rant about what other's have contributed, if you don't agree, you have the liberty to post somewhere else. Lets keep the thread focused and make relevant contributions that would be of benefit to those concerned. |
Every relationship should be judge on its own merit. Because someone else had a bad experience doesn't mean the wall should be painted red. We should learn from other's experiences and be wise when dating. Love tips at: Dating Love Marriages |
true, the post is old, but someone else might be in the same situation, thinking marriage is a cure for sexual desires If one doesn't have self control, marriage would only amplify it.Until a guy develops self discipline, self control, confidence and maturity he should not venture taking responsibility of another persons life |
Are there standards to be maintained to have a godly relationship today? The society we live in encourages pre-marital sex and fornication. Are there boundaries Christians should establish when dating to avoid the pitfalls most singles fall into when dating? The fact that you are asking this question is an indication that you are not ready for marriage. Age, job security and having a house doesn't mean you are matured. It takes a man to marry a woman and it is not a function of age. I commend your point of view of not playing the field, but you need to understand what marriage is all about before going into it. You cannot walk in and out at will. |
Singleness is the best period of adulthood, a time when you can explore yourself, know what you are, define your ideologies and acquire interpersonal skills. While some people spend this period destructively by indulging in destructive habits and promiscuity, others remember their creator in their youth. Being single doesn't mean you have to be lonely, with set goals, objectives and vision you'll have more than enough things to accomplish before you get hitched. Spend this time wisely =========================================================================================================== Spice up your love life |
we are sometimes quick to pass judgement. The officers and soldiers are innocent until proven guilty, I suppose that is the rule of law. Before we start raining fire and brimestone on the accused, let's wait for the outcome of their court martial. |
perhaps you should post a link to a video you've edited for emphasis |

@v/admiral who are mi now? |
@banwo1 It requires discipline, patrotisms and courage to stand out in the military. Just being in the military does not guarantee that you would have these characteristics. It must be in you, the military only draws it out. You may have the wrong motive for joining the military, you shouldn't have a political ambition as a reason. You should be dedicated to serving you country and not spicing up your CV for political ambitions. If it does happens that you retire and do into politics, that's fine but it should not be your motivation. Join the military with the mind to serve you country with all you have |
The Nigerian Armed Forces and armed forces in general is a noble profession, but I must say that soldiers / officers are not given their merited recognition. what v/admiral said is correct and he spelt things out. The poster talked about joining as a short service officer which is a different commission from a regular officer. Most people going into the armed officer don't realise this. Regular officers spend 5 years to get a commission while short service spend just 6-9 months. As a short service officer, your service is short ,simple. You can be retired when your minimum services is over. Your promotion is not the same as a regular officer, and there are some appointments and postings you will only dream of getting but you will never get. Call it apertied or anything, that is the terms and conditions of the service you are about to join. My question to the poster is what is your main reason for joining the armed forces. From my experience as an officer and now as a civilian, feel free to join the military if 1. You love Nigeria and you want to serve the nation and pay the ultimate sacrifice if it happens 2. You do not have any personal ambition or business you hope to accomplish in your lifetime 3. You are ready to obey orders 4. You are physically fit to the job 5. You crave a disciplined and regimented live 5. You can't get a better job and the armed forces is your last option But if you are 1. Academically sound, skillful with personal ambitions 2. Have a dream, vision and business to accomplish 3. Not willing to die for your country 4. Cannot live a restricted life 5. You want to create wealth for you family and future generations please do not join the armed forces, you will get frustrated and live an unfulfilled life. Generally, soldiers / officer are expected to live a decent life but not get rich. There are the possibilities that the sharp ones and godsons will be sent on foreign courses, and get some estacode once in a while but it won't make you wealthy. Those that are wealthy in the armed forces did not get their wealth legitimately. I'll live that there hoping you get the message. So young man think very carefully, a lot of officers joined because of the glamour of the military regimes, now we have a democratic government so the military is back to the barracks. |
It is not a sin to know your wife after the traditional wedding / court wedding. The bible admonishes us to respect our leaders and the laws of the land which you fulfilled by going through the traditional rights and obtaining a marriage certificate. As a Christian, your marriage can be blessed by another Christian/pastor at anytime. Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name , those that scripture sound familiar. White wedding ============= Just as the name signifies, the white wedding is a foreign culture to African tradition. To the white, this is their traditional wedding. What it means in essence is that most Africans (including myself) end up having two different weddings from 2 different cultures. It just the mentality we have grown up with and has nothing to do with Christianity |

@kunlef I think you went to my personal blog and not the business website. This is the link to the site Rhema Studio |
I think a proper business directory should be made, it's going to be difficult finding a business in this forum thread |
The website you provided is actually a blog not a photography siteYou can find information about our services, view sample photos of weddings we've covered and also all the pages of the photobooks we have done in the past. The photobooks can be found in "Photobook Portfolio" page. Also, you did not mention the time it will take you to make the production. The advert was a brief summary of our proposal, hence the limited information provided. It takes approximately 14 days from the day we receive the images to have the book done. It would take a few more days for delivery depending on your location. Yes, I think it is good to let your agent in Nigeria collect 50% deposit before production. But the deposit should be refundable if you did not meet the client's expectationWe have full confidence in our work and what we do, you only need to have one in your hands to appreciate the value and quality. We are yet to have a client that isn't happy with our work. However the quality of the final images depend on the images you give to us. For optimum quality we need high resolution images taken with a good quality camera. We have had good results from images taken with a good quality camera phone. Because we would be enlarging the images to the book size, we need high quality photos. More infomation about our photobooks can be found here . However we do all we can to get the best from whatever you send to us by retouching the images. We also scan hard copies at additional as well. We can guarantee a refund if the quality of our book is less that the quality of the images you provided, if for any reason it does happen, which I doubt. . You may also consider sending a scanned copy of the produced photobook to clients or putting it on a website for comments before sending the hard copy to minimise wastagesUp till now we have been dealing with UK clients and on request we show thew a soft copy of the book design for their comments. We can provide a webpage to display the designed pages to clients for comments before final production. That would not be a problem, but this would increase the production time. For non-professional photographers, what is the rate to convert personal photos (digital) into photobook style, and how many pictures per book? Our designers advise clients on how many pages would be appropriate based on the event and the number of images provided. The minimum number of pages is 18 and the maximum is 78 in multiples of 4. Obviously the price would be determined by the number of pages. If you have a look at our portfolio on our website, we have indicated the number of pages and how many photos were contained in each photobook. That should give you a rough idea of what to expect. We try to tell the story of the event and emphasis key moments by varying the image size, every design is unique. ? I am thinking of getting a sample of your work for my photos and maybe be your affiliate sometimes laterWe have produced a photobook albums of personal images and as wedding gifts, all in our portfolio. We also do 'watch me grow' where we put together baby pictures e.g. from birth to age 2, with comments and annotations. We can put together a photobook collection of your photos. |
