She has no point

Some civil servants are earning good Salary. What of those working in CBN, NNPC, Nigeria communication commission etc they earn millions monthly
CBN NNPC, NPA, FAAN, and their likes are not civil Servants but public servants. Any Income generating agency of government are termed public service not civil service. So their salary differs. A level 8 in Public service earns far higher than his counterparts in civil service such as ministry, teaching, research centres, prison, fire service, etc.

This isn't true...

I didn't watch the video... But going by the headline.

False and disrespectful.

They are top management level civil servants who have worked hard and honestly for years (some upwards of 25 - 30 years) and have been able acquire modest property and send their wards to be educated in other parts of the world. Not because the money they have is in abundance but some go as far as acquiring loans.

You can't tell me a top level manager at NNPC for instance must steal before acquiring property or sending his kids to study abroad. Especially if he has worked and saved deligently for a considerable period of time.

This statement is quite a disrespect and discouragement to honest and hardworking civil servants... Especially the young and up coming ones looking to make a career out of the civil service!

NNPC workers are not categories as Civil servants.

Do those women say they need husbands? If no, don't give yourself headache for their sake. Most of the married ones are even plotting to become single.

Their values have changed. They don't care about marriage. Some of them don't even care about having children. They have enough money and can make upfront payment to companies that will care for them in old age.

What I worry about is the continuation of humanity.
Bro that is not true, most women care of marriage than me. Take a bit of your time and come close to those established career single ladies, your testimonies will be different.

Crime / Re: Lagos Police Arrest Two With 70 Cartons Of Expired Drugs by Odidigboigbo(m): 7:38pm On Feb 04
Jman06:
Pharmacists are not involved in drug falsification! Most of the people faking drugs in Nigeria operate from the open drug markets and are mostly illiterates who never went to university let alone studying Pharmacy.

Pharmacists are under oath to do the right thing and ensure that patients get high quality medicines. Also, Pharmacists are always very careful because if caught in any compromising act, he's not only going to face prosecution by the laws but his license would be withdrawn! Every Pharmacist dreads having his license withdrawn because that would mean no more practice for him, a waste of his years in school and also a big dent on his reputation as a professional.
Apologies in using the word pharmacist. Should I say medicine dealers?

From bridge head markets to Sabongari market to Idumota market, most of the merchants of fake drugs are IGBOs. They're are also the ones fighting every government's policies to tackle this problem.

Mind you, I'm Igbo but the truth must be said if we must find a solution to this menace.
90% of pharmacist in Nigeria are Igbos. Even 90% of pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria are own by Igbos ; hence the majority of counterfeit products can be found with them

Onuahu is good to have in the team. You can easily change your game plan with him. Have you forgotten his role to qualify Nigeria in the past? How he was brought in as Sub to score winning goals?

Bringing him in at the last minutes is not helpful
What he did in the past has nothing to do in the present. What has he done so far in this AFCON, since the coach has been using him as a substitute against the likes of Moffy and Kelechi? He can't even run, dribble nor control the ball. He is more than useless to the team

We begin to wonder what quality players like moffi and Chukwueze and Kelechi are doing on the bench but lo and behold he brings in Aribo, Onuachu e.t.c
He has to look into his substitute, those he is bringing in as a substitute has no business in the field, especially forward substitution. If he is substituting, let him bring those that will sustain the energy of the play not those that will kill it, just like what Onuachu is doing.

A bit impressed, but he should master the act of making substitutions that will kill off the match. I was expecting he will bring on chukwueze yesterday cos of his flair, dribbles and runs. Osimhen is overworking himself. He should manage his energy, so as to have strength needed in the final third and box 18
Honestly speaking, I wonder why he keeps on bringing Paul Onuachu in replacement of Osimhen. Onuachu is just a mutula, he can't dribble nor run with a ball.

I am not your student to spend my day answering stupid questions to your satisfaction

No one has a right to fire anybody it is not a right but a power or authority . You need to improve your English
If you want to know look for the law establishing the position.

Who does the governor report to
Who can remove the governor
Who can authorise the governor to spend money
Obviously you are trying to be smart by half, hence ignoring my question.
Legislator's constitutional project are paid by the executive arms. Even a primary school students knows that legislators are limited to the found made available to them by the executive, lead by the governor. Even common their salary, governor is the one that can authorised the payment. Can your almighty House of Assembly determine where a common borehole would be sited in state?
Politics / Re: Governor Fubara Appoints Edison Ehie As New Chief Of Staff by Odidigboigbo(m): 4:34pm On Jan 29
aribisala0:

You need to improve your English
1. Money is not shared to executive. It is shared to the state
2. What do you mean by IN CHARGE . What does that mean in law it is like asking who is in charge of food that enters the body is it the nose or the eyes, the band of the teeth.
The government is in charge . When you say executive what do you mean ? Is the governor the executive? You are talking ignorantly and creating a false and artificial division. The House of Assembly is in charge of The governor. They can remove him.
4. Again what do you mean by. REPORT TO ? Define that? The accountant General operates within the laws of the state . Who does the governor report to?
The state have pass an autonomy law and the law must be followed or the governor will repeat WILL be removed.

All these your beer parlour questions do not case me
You tried to dogged the question but failed woeful.
1.Who has signatory to state account?
2. Who is responsible for the management of state IGR, legislature or executive?
3. So as smart as you claimed to be, the accountant general doesn't report to anybody because there is protocol, please explain tje protocol?
4. Who appoints the accountant general and who have the right to fired him?
Career / Re: Must I Study Medicine Or Pharmacology In Order To Sell Drugs In Nigeria? by Odidigboigbo(m): 2:12pm On Jan 29
Jman06:
80% is an exaggeration. And those non-pharmacists owning Pharmacy premises have a Pharmacist who registered the business and are supposed to be there to supervise activities in the premises.

So yes, a non-pharmacist can own a pharmacy business but the business must be run by a Pharmacist. That is how it works.
So OP doesn't need to study pharmacy before he can operate, if he has the required capital.
Career / Re: Must I Study Medicine Or Pharmacology In Order To Sell Drugs In Nigeria? by Odidigboigbo(m): 2:01pm On Jan 29
Jman06:
Only Pharmacists are licensed to dispense(sell) drugs and also counsel patients on how to safely use their drugs.

A doctor can prescribe but only Pharmacists sell. This is because Pharmacists are the only ones with requisite training on drugs from storage, to drug interactions to drug therapy problems etc.
To best of my knowledge, 80% of pharmacy in Nigeria are own by purely businessmen that are not Pharmacist

The executive control the financial resources of any government
I have a simple question for you
1.When FEC are sharing revenue, it is shared between FG, State and LG. Why is it that legislature are not inclusive in the sharing formula?
2. Who is in charge of the IGR of a state, the house or the executive?
3. Who are the signatories to the state account
4. Who do the accountant general of the state report to?

Be honest to answer these questions

The Rivers State Funds Management and Financial Autonomy Law
Go and educate yourself before coming here to talk Rubbish

You are talking nonsense and cannot even spend legislature
Legislatures are run by law. The constitution allows legislatures to make laws and even override an executive veto.
There is nowhere in the construction that a governor is made a treasure or accountant of the state.Nowhere.
If a law is passed constitutionally it MUST be obeyed

Baba stop sounding as if you know when you know not. The executive control the financial resources of any government, show me the session of the bill passed or any constitution that says the legislators has right over the financial resources of a state. The function is oversight not more no less.

By the way, lalong also resigned as minister to take his seat as a legislator.
it's matter of Umahi resigned as a Chief Will of the senate to take ministerial position

Does governor have any money
It is law that gives him power
Did he bring any money from his house to a Government House
If he does not obey the law they will impeach him
Tinubu's government will not send him a kobo of allocation outside the law.
All the House need to do is pass a law with two thirds majority and the FG will send them their money directly. They can even stop the governor receiving money from the FG by passing a law to that effect

Because you are used to seeing compliant Houses you do not realise how powerful the House is.?
The House can freeze all bank accounts of the state and the banks must comply .
Oga, you have little or no understanding on how legislators are run. Their budget are funded by the executive/governor that is the constitution of FG, Tinubu has no any right to send money or fund an isolated state legislation, nor will National Assembly wake up one day to change the constitution because of Rivers State. How state house of Assembly and LG is being funded are is well spelt in Nigeria constitution, State Assembly has no constitutional right over it.

@Mrksquare I see Ehie's move from an elected position(House of Assembly member) to an appointee(COS) as kind of weird.

But Femi Gbajabiamila resigned from his elected position to take the role COS to Tunubu likewise other legislators resigned to take ministerial roles. What is more weird than that?

I think it is the governor that needs to get to the Speaker
They have passed a new law and the governor has no control over their money.
But the governor needs the House to approve his budget
A governor is only more powerful than a House if the House is divided
Fubara failed in his attempt to divide the House and that is why this person is no longer in the House. There will be an election to replace him
Let us see whether FUbara or Wike chooses that replacement
Does legislative has any money? It's the president/governor that fund the legislators. Which money are they going to control with the new law if the governor failed to fund them?

You certainly don't know what you're saying. The closest elected officials to the people are the council chairmen in the FCT and they don't seem to know what they're doing.
These kidnappers have been operating in the FCT for as far back as 2021 (that's the ones I know of).
They kidnapped a vehicle together with the passengers along Gwaz-Kwali road. Kidnapping people in their homes in Yangoji was a weekly routine. They even kidnapped a traditional ruler in Rubochi.
All these times, nobody cared. I don't know why all of a sudden they're now pretending as if it started last week.
You that knows what you are saying, how does your submission her counter what I said?

In any case what role does she have to play in stemming insecurity in Abuja? Wike and the President met with security agencies, wike was instructed by the president to go on a confidence building tour in the Area council, what exactly does he need this woman for?
The truth you failed to see is that the Senator is more influential than the Minister in the zone, even more influential than the president in Abuja. They see those two as an outsider. The minister toure will yield little or no result without their elected officers. Let me ask you a simple question and be honest to answer it. Let's assumed PDP is in government in federal level and there is a crisis in Lagos and the PDP government send delegates to visits Lagos, do you think the delegates will make any inroads without APC representatives from Lagos?

Leave politics and sentiments aside, she was elected to represent the zone, the minister has no options but to work with her irrespective of political inclination. Wike working with her doesn't erase his friendship with Philip Adudau.
