Even atheist still gives. Or are they against giving?

Don't confuse tithing with giving alms.
They mean different things.
And don't preach to me about giving, leave my believe to me.
Read my post carefully before replying. I neither in support nor against Tithing but for generally giving based on your religion believes and conviction

As a pastor or not; are you supposed to pay tithe at all

Anyways, though I am an unbeliever in your storybook, yet I will help you.

Hebrews 7:5–9
NIV

5 "Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, from their fellow Israelites—even though they also are descended from Abraham."
6 "This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessedn him who had the promises."
7 "And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater."
8 "In the one case, the tenth is collected by people who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living."
9 "One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham"

Take note of verse 9 in particular.
Who is Melchizedek that Abraham paid tithe? Anyways, I believe in one thing, you must give in order to receive or keep the source afloat. Traditionalist gives to their
Deity, in form of sacrifice; Christians said is Tithe/Offering, Muslim called it Tarkah/Zakat/Sadaqah. Pagan do theirs in the street. The truth remains that you must give base on what you believe.
Politics / Re: Retiring Justice Musa Dattijo Muhammad Alleges Abuse Of Power By CJN by Odidigboigbo(m): 11:13am On Oct 28, 2023
StOla:

I read well.

He deliberated on many anomalies.

1. The powers of the office of a CJN for which he was the 2nd most senior, and which he thinks the powers should be limited.

Does that mean the current CJN who was seated at the event, is abusing his powers as CJN when that is the extant law?

2. He lamented the poor pay of Supreme Court Justices, and even lamented the poorer pay of the CJN.

3. He lamented about the fact that only 4 out of 6 geopolitical regions of Nigeria, currently have representation in the Supreme Court.

4. He mentioned that the Presidential appeal should have had Justices from all the geopolitical zones, but it would not be possible as the 2 regions who do not have Justices in the Supreme Court cannot be represented. He also mentioned that Justice Nweze sudden death contributed to this shortage.

Now tell me the cracks and tell me the abuse of power?

Losers just love sensational headlines.

Stop putting words in the mouth of the retired Justice.

A retired Justice cannot make recommendations in peace, without sensational news journalist looking to promote anarchy trying to twist the words with a false headline?
So you didn't read were he said, not filling the vacant post of JSC was deliberate?

Nigerian politicians are the same. APC, PDP, SDP,LP, they are the same.

LP senators aka the saints fc, if you want to do the right thing, here's a piece of an advice:

You can decide to sell the N160m car given to you, buy Nigerian made cars and bring the balance to your constituencies to better the lives of those that sent you there, or simple show defiance to the general decision of buying the Land Cruisers .
That is not possible, the car is the property of NAS. It can only become theirs after their tenor elapse. You don't sell what does not belong to you, hence you will be termed a thief.

When I said Gej wasn't a saint. He and Madueke looted everywhere!
You guys should take some time out and do a bit research before commenting. GEJ that you are accusing was the one that stopped the contract, in the first place. The contract was signed during the period Ya'Adua cabals were running the government. GEJ cancelled it when he came in.

Good one, believe it or not this case is why I've vowed never to cast my vote for PDP again. You won't believe Jonathan has decided to pay for this fraud before he lost to Buhari who then decided to battle against the arrangee fraud between some Nigerians in collabo with P&ID fraudsters. Victory for Nigeria las las. Congratulations to Jagaban
Baba, stop being petty, it was Jonathan that stopped the Contract. Rildwanu Lukman signed the contract, capitalising on Ya'Adua ailment. This was the period when Ya'Adua cabals were running the government claiming that Ya'Adua was signing government papers from far away in Saudi Arabia. When GEJ came in, he has to stopped it, that was what lead to the letigation.

Not only product you sell on the Internet bro,you can sell skills too.
You need the Internet on any job you do, either for upgrade on thecnical know-how or sell your skills.
Even a common farmer need the Internet to keep updated and inform on the happenings around the agricultural sector. Even bricklayers too need the Internet.
Remember we're currently living in a techy age where all you do is sorrounded by technology and innovations. Even a begger at the bustop need the Internet to be well informed on the lookout for a new location incase govt go come pursue them grin grin
I'm disputing the facts that you can use internet to sell your products (tangible or intangible) My question still remains, how many people online surfing the internet in Nigeria to be specific are actually using the internet to sell thier products? Be honest to yourself and answer that question. I can tell you that more than 80% of people there are just there to catch cruise and have fun.

Are you trying to say people in some villages as you said are not using mobile phones?

Oga we are in the 21st century and not 20th century
This is why I said you are far from reality, to think everyone can afford to buy a phone because we are in 21st century. Please leave your comfort zone and travel to remote areas and see things by yourself.

You are not suffering so I guess he wasn't referring to you grin.
Alot of people don't use upto 2k a month.
But wait o, is he saying we should leave the Internet space and get ourselves productive? As in how you want take do am?
Cos you actually need the Internet to sell your products.
Anyways, a lot of pastors nowadays are just motivational speakers and not spirit field, always want to make sense and ended up not making sense at all.
Preach on righteousness and salvation, na lie. Only wealth, prosperity and relationship.
most of them avoid the book of proverbs so they don't shoot themselves on the leg while trying to pass a message
Be honest to yourself, how many people online are actually selling a product?

Not only that, many people who sub to come online ,can get contract or even a work that will pay.

Being online does not mean one is not suffering?

You even sub 2k -5k data, speak for yourself.

Some sub ₦100 -₦500 to be online, some borrow to sub to be online, some use their last cash to sub to come online in search of job or work to do.
Is that not suffering ??

Many are staving, but have to come online by all means just for ends to meet.

And mind you not everyone come online to post pictures and the rest of them, speak for yourself that you are not suffering.
actually, you have not seen real suffering that is why you said this. Take your time to visit some villages before you respond. Whoever that has money to sub for internet is not yet suffering but testing the real suffering.

The simple facts is that attending Social gatherings elongates life, especially when you don't drink or engaged in other social vices. This is because it relieves you from emotional stress and depression. A lot of people have been saved from committing suicide just for attending social gatherings, and Religious gathering is one of the social gatherings. Only a FULL doubt proves.

Go and sit down. Is it not a politician that presented his staff of office to him? Na Osho Baba hand over staff of office to am.
They deposed the Sultan and nothing happened. Your Oba is very small. If he misbehaves, he will be summarily dealt with.
They will depose him to a village in Bayelsa and install someone from another Ruling House as the Oba.
This where you miss it, RULING HOUSE. That is what make Bini kingdom different from Sultan and the likes. The Staff office presented or not, that is not what makes him to be an Oba. The day he was born that was the day the thrown was waiting for him to ascend. If he is deposed as you imagine, who takes over, His Son no one else.

I think he's bored since his influence is limited to Edo state. Maybe if he had something doing, he would have been less petulant and cranky.
Maybe probably you don't know Bini tradition, Obaseki or any other governor of the state can't dear the Oba. Do you think is Emir or Ooni that their traditional stool is politicise?

How is it not possible?

-Postpone the relocation.
-Work the job for 2 months & show super skills.
-Tender your resignation or let HR know you'll be relocating verbally.
-Since its a tech role they will be the ones to suggest you remain with them in some capacity if you are good.

OP this is the best advice for you. Even when they allow you to go, they can still permit you to work remotely (From Canada) since you are good. Except you don't trust yourself, you can decide otherwise.

My point is that Anambrians like the OP should quit denigrating Ebonyi because they are the same people and share same problems. The creation of States was for administrative purpose not for division and there is ongoing Igbo unification project that doesn't need distraction from us all. All Igbos from Agbor to Aro and Ikwerre to Nsukka are working towards reunification for a better future.
If Agbor man hear you called them Igbo, you are in trouble.

Nothing like competition since each of the companies has an autonomy over the area they cover.
