Okowa can still vie for 2027 VP ticket with atiku or the presidential ticket itself.dont forget he is eyeing nwoko's seat and has taken over as the new Ibori...
APC lost CRS officially but it was a strategic victory as lp won narrowly.apc were not even expected to get 25% but it even beat pdp and cleared the Nass seats without undue rigging and coercion like in rivers.
Tinubu won rivers but the party failed in other contests
There was an issue with Cross Rivers PDP that was why APC was able to make inroad in CR. APC didn't will all NASS seat in CR; even Ayede himself lost to PDP for senate.

I am not from delta.it is still a mystery how okowa failed to deliver Atiku in delta.even the failure called Ayade delivered Apc.it seems okowa only knows how to play state politics.
National politics is over; but to correct your submission, APC did not win Cross River in the presidential elections but Labour party. The only state APC won in SS in the presidential election was Rivers State.

Honestly, sheriff has been a failure so far.okowa at least concentrated in roads, healthcare and stabilized the polity while developing delta north.ibori influence was minimal.sheriff is like a disgrace for the civilized and highly educated urhobos race.Agehe may have been better
Something tells me you are from Ugheli axis, Okodo is doing a fantastic Job in Warri, Okpe and its environs

Baba I know all these it can only become law when the president has assented to the bill, but till now nothing like that has happened. As I said Delta is holding LG election this weekend and it's being conducted by DSIEC not INEC

If only ifeoma knows, she for listen to her roommate..

But why did she gave out a false name? What was she hiding?
If you understand the modus of operandi of these girls, 99.9% of them goes with fake names.

It is obvious that the expedited nature of this matter is because of what is happening in Rivers state. This shows that Wike has gone far above Rivers politics.
Some times you guys talk trash, how many states in Nigeria has duly elected LG officers?

Last last, the State Government will still find a way to collect the allocations sent to the LG back, since the elected LG officers are state governor's puppets. Just like giving money to a toddler and expect the mother not to collect it from him.

I am talking about a system that is not ideal..Nigeria's politics is not ideal

The impeachment will be illegal and he will be forced to seek redress at the court.

That's if he is not impeached
How would he be impeached when those guys will be going from Court to another for their recognition as members of the House? This particular ruling that bared their recognition will still be argue to SC and many more are coming, while the governor will be flexing. Mind you, the other ruling they are banking on didn't declare them as members of the House but just jurisdiction trial Court. So it can still be argue in FHC

Gov. Fubara running in circles..

grin cheesy cheesy grin grin
The Court cases are just starting, the main issue is yet to be determined. Be expecting other cases that will spring up, by the time they argue all these irrelevant cases to supreme, two years might have gone. Before the main issue would be finally be determined by supreme, Court, Fubara have finished his tenure. Just like Edo State House Assembly Saga.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Labour Party Wins UK General Election, Outgoing PM Sunak Concedes by Odidigboigbo(m): 8:09am On Jul 05
ALTERNATEID:
Too bad for Rishi Sunak. For someone of Indian heritage, he took over as PM at the worst time possible. Managing the economic challenges that came with Covid-19 has been difficult all over the world. No magic could have made him win the election.

Congratulations to Keir Starmer. This is a very massive victory that was thought impossible just five years ago. Now that he will be assuming office as PM, it’s time to face the reality and walk the talk. He will no longer be the opposition leader criticizing everything and making the man in office look so bad. Let’s see the magic he will perform in the next one year.

To those bad losers from Nigeria, there is a lesson here for you guys. The losers accepted defeat without blaming anyone or lying that they won. The leader of the party that came third did not go on live TV to falsely claim they won the election unlike in Nigeria where a candidate that couldn’t even get 25% of vote cast in 15 states somehow started claiming he won the election.
Did you read anywhere where billot box or BIVAS was snatched, people prevented from voting nor money shared to the electorates to influence voting? Why compare Nigeria and them? No one will go to Court when an election seems to be a bit reasonable fair.

Pdp just lost another heavyweight in Edo state
if you were to be in Sheriff's shoes, who would you have supported? When it comes to politics Ned is no match to Okowa. Ned has no good records in his kindred, any serious candidates can easily defeat Ned in his LGA. He has money but no reputation.

It seems the governor has settled for a smaller party to decamp to or as a fall back.
Same thing is happening in delta where ojowa and Ned are struggling for delta North
He might ask his supporters to contest under other parties. Okowa did it during Modu Sheriff saga with PDP. As for Okowa and Ned, there is no contention, Okowa still remains the Delta North PDP leader and have the structure in his grip. It might interest you to know that there was no primary election for the fort coming LGA election in Delta State, all candidates from Delta North emerged via consensus and they are all protege of Okowa.

Is this a joke or what?
Baba be calming down, is there a law that says that major political party (PDP/APC) MUST participate in an election before an election can be legal?

This is the same Tony Okocha that was shouting that Fubara should conduct LGA election if he thinks he has the people behind him? I have told people that do not understand how LG elections works, there is no election in LG, is the governor that select, any other thing are mere formalities.

You guys should read in between the lines, they saperated in 2015, after her ministerial appointments and get divorced finally in 2022. So if they are not together during her ministerial period how did he enjoyed the so called loots with her? Mind you the man in question is not a man of low means. He was two times military governor and former Chief of Naval staff.

If you hear how Diezani treated workers at the federal ministry of petroleum resources when she was minister, you will know that she cannot be submissive to any man. That lady is a god, and I often wonder how her husband coped with her until I read this news story.

Guys, be mindful of the kind of lady you want to marry if you don't want a broken home because many ladies just want to settle down, but they cannot stay in marriage. Marriage is not for everyone; prioritize character over beauty.
The man is not a bloody civilian, he is military officer; former military governor of Imo and Anambra state and former Chief of Naval staff. So she can't messed up with him.

Have they been separated

But a serious note, Rear Admiral Madueke is a big hypocrite. When Dieziani was looting and stealing monies, where was taking it to? Was it not to the Madueke home?
When she was spending big far beyond her salary, didn't he see and know that she was stealing public funds? She stole public funds and the Madueke family benefitted and enjoyed the loot, Madueke didn't say he was embarrassed by the affluence. Now the chips are down and Dieziani is being prosecuted for her looting, Admiral Madueke is opening his mouth to talk thrash about being embarrassed about the public shame. What is that
He is a big fool.
Did you read the content at all? He said they stopped living together as husband and wife after her ministerial appointments in 2015 before there finally divorced. So if they are not together, how is she bringing the looted funds to him?
