The problem is people just argue because Raumdeuter is involved. I am not sure anyone here is saying VVD is not good or that he is not partly responsible for LFCs improvements in defence. The issue is, some people have said he is solely responsible even attributing their getting to the UCL final to him alone and Raumdeuter is factually suggesting that the data does not justify this argument. La Porte only came up to challenge one of the "facts" that someone else tried to make when that person claimed LFC had conceded the least amount of goals since VVD showed up. La Porte was shown to have actually played in a team that has conceded less since that time and from there people who did not even follow the discourse started trying to make popular opinions.
