ernie4life: Let me ask, apart from Standard chartered bank, which other firm does not charge withholding tax on treasury bills?
What firms allow you to bid for the auction with less then 50m? With investment one you can do minimum of 100,000 |

emmasoft: For most banks, with as low as 100k, you can participate in primary auction. Normally, once your money is less than 50m, it's always best/compulsory to go with the bank rate. Primary market rate always come out at the end of the auction, you can only make reference to the last rate which was around 22%+ For any bank you wish to use, definitely you have to be a customer of that bank otherwise you don't have a relationship with them.
What you saw on Wema app is secondary market rate and it's always lower than primary acuction rate all things being equal.
I will also advice you to read more on how Tbills work. This thread is a good source of material. Well done sir |

amiibaby: please the the both in order for me to decide. Thanks Primary market has 90,180 AND 364days tenure. The secondary market doesn't exceed a year also but you can invest for shorter tenure(28, 40,. 60,345 day etc). If you cant wait for 90days , kindly request rates from your bank and go for the secondary market. |

BlueRayDick: Those are the real OG's.
Yes, kids weren't allowed back then, there was some level of decency back then. Not nowadays when u see people taking their kids to lounges and bars where hypeman will be saying things like " Na toto wey wet go make pablo commot money for pocket"...."Obough na Sugar Halleluyah"... all in the name of hype
Last week I was at a lounge and I saw some people came with their kids, in an area where some fun seekers were visibly smoking shishsa and other substances o. I just shake my head o Baba you be street oo. The truth is some lounges and bars don't even allow kids, while some once it is 8pm, kids will leave. |
