vazsily: Hmmmmm! But at 18.8% investing in Treasury Bill is a bad idea, when inflation is 34.8%. Except perhaps you don't have any need for the cash but I believe investment in the NGX will give far better returns than this oversense by CBN bcoz of excess supply. I know other places that gave around 19.60 for same tenure. Not everyone has the risk appetite for stock trading |

Please what is the essence of having CSCS, CHN, Member code or Tax ID to invest in Commercial paper? This was part information requested for in the subscription form but I don't have it. Is there any consequence at maturity? Pardon my ignorance it is my first time buying CP, I only invest in Mutual funds and FD.
Guys, I need your clarification on this! I thought you only need CSCS account when it comes to bond and shares . If you don't have those info, kindly ignore and submit form. I guess you are talking valency agro cp? |

You can do this by partaking in the primary auction coming up this Wednesday using your bank. You can also access it in the secondary market. Contact your bank for more info or You can also chat me let's open an investment account and get started. |

Up till now, they're yet to refund my money and next week is another auction. They disappointed me. I'll send another mail and copy CBN tomorrow if I don't get the fund today. Sorry for your experience. Did you give them a rate? Call their customercare or email or visit their office |

Bennycollins: Hi esteemed forumites. I need help from those that know. Zenith bank subscribed me for 340+ days Tbills at the rate of about 19+ % . I had chosen 22% rate in the form with instructions that any thing less should not be accepted to me, but the did everything without consulting me. So I applied that the investment be cancelled.and the have kept back 309k as penalty, according to the Operations Head. Principal amount was 10m and 1703000 had been credited as upfront. How do I handle this, as 300k is too much for me to lose like that. Thanks Sorry for your experience. What they invested for you is the secondary market. I feel they should have contacted you before investing in the secondary market. |

nicestlady: Please does anyone know the process for TB investing with fcmb or fidelity bank. What rate did they give for the last primary auction for 365 days?
I already have account with the 2 banks that's why I'm considering them. Their branch staff aren't very knowledgeable about how it's done. Fidelity staff actually said N50m minimum investment and I know that can't be true. Are they more reliable and stress-free banks?
put in a request since last week and funded my account on Monday only to be told this morning that my Tbill request did not go through. Just so disappointed in Yes 50m is the minimum amount to invest in Tbills primary market. There are some investment firm and banks that accept minimum 100,000. Lets talk more 0. |

chrismex: Please can someone explain this to me some times I don't understand the magic all this banks do. They said 18.75% but the amount they are paying in return is not upto that when you lessall there charges.
I will be losing almost 18k which they didn't specify in the details. 480,000(PRINCIPAL)*18.75*322/365*100 Your answer then deduct 10%WHT on the interest amount. |
