I didn't hear anything from Al Jazeera or wherever. I heard it all from radio biafra. Before his arrest, your god, kanu was threatening to kill everybody, saying he already had an army that would take down Nigeria at his command. A video was recorded of kanu where he was asking igbos abroad to provide him with arms and ammunition, which was one of the reasons why the Nigerian government arrested him.

Is it that you don't listen to radio biafra or your head is cursed with dumbness that you can't remember?

I wanted to keep this discuss civil. But since you've resorted to abuse, I have no choice than to pay you in your own coin.

It is surprising you said kanu doesn't want war. We all remember the way he threatened everybody, both in the southwest and north. We all remember how he publicly abused obj and tinubu and virtually everyone.

Before his arrest, we remember how he was soliciting for arms. He even said he had an armed military force ready to do battle with Nigeria.

So, why are your words and those of kanu contradicting themselves? How can you be fighting for the same thing, but your words are different? Where is the unity? Where is the intelligence?

Finally, it is Bias not Biase
Clap for yourself. It's obvious you are not in tune with the happenings surrounding biafran agitations madam copy-and-paste.

Obviously you don't listen to latest interviews regarding biafran agitations from neutral sources.

Who have been the one shooting down armless protesters as noted by transparency international, aljazeera and dw tv? Your Nigerian masters.

And suddenly, your hypocrisy now remembers that looters like obj and tinubu are elders.

Ojukwu, ekwueme, and other igbo elders have been insulted and harassed in the past by your type and but no, your brain won't remember that.

Shame on you and all those hiding under the toga of elder statesman who have looted the country dry.

And for the typographic correction, pls tell the management of nairaland to employ you in order to edit every post in this forum.

I believe that Biafra needs a better strategy that is built on a quest for developing the region rather than a hatred for others. You don't build your foundation on hatred.
It's not built on hatred. Kanu is the visible representation of the mind of easterners towards the Nigerian system.

If he didn't act in such manner, the government won't take him seriously.

Now his noise has brought the issue of restructuring to the fore. The govt is now acting because they know people are getting fed up with their lies and hypocrisy.

Don't whip up sentiments. Try to make your conversation intelligent for once. You guys seem to have nothing intelligent to ever say about Biafra agitation; it is almost always about sentiment and not reasoning. Why is it like that?
Here is an intelligent response except if you are hopelessly biase:

Any fool out there knows that Ojukwus approach to Biafra cannot be Kanu's approach to Biafra. Ojukwu and Kanu are from different eras.

Ojukwu already held power as Governor of the Eastern Region and could declare Biafra effectively. Kanu on the other hand, does not hold that sort of power.

Another real difference between Ojukwus time and Kanu's time is that Ojukwu was under military rule while Kanu is under democracy. Thats why Ojukwu had to fight a war while Kanu does not need to fight.

When it comes to the issue sovereighty of people, the elite do not matter. What matters is what the majority of the people want, wether they be street touts or priviledged. Kanu wants a referendum for an area that compromises of the old Eastern Region and Delta state. I have never seen these people protesting their love of Nigeria on the streets. If any of the ethnic groups feel more comfortable with Nigeria, they should vote to remain in Nigeria while those who wish to go can go.

This was done in 1961 when British Cameroon voted in a referendum. South British Cameroon voted to join Republic of Cameroon while the North voted to join Nigeria. There was no issue of consulting or if the elite were involved, it was a matter of democracy, what the majority in a given area want.

In terms of Kanu asking the people of Anambra to bocott elections, he is entitled to do that. Anybody can ask the people of Anambra to boycott elections. It is left for the people of Anambra to heed the call or reject it. This again is democracy, allowing the people to choose. Everything about Kanu and IPOB agitation is democratic because no one us being forced to do anything.

Nigeria however is not democratic. It is Nigeria that will be telling everyone that nobody has a choice to choose if they want to be Nigerian or not.

It is this right for one to choose their own destiny is why Kanu will always be ahead of Nigeria

Indianambra1 may God bless you I have read all you said and you have really make a very good sense let he who has ear listen and he who want to be destroy ignores it.

Looking at how foolish and silly this albino Nwagoat called Kanu is so silly he and his IPOOH forgot the party in power right now in Anambra is a party co founded by Ojukwu and Anambra is the only state I see that has really show real love for Ojukwu for not allowing his legacy to die and it's that same party this Nwagoat called Kanu want to loose Anambra and I bet it apc will claim the state and it's over for Indigbo because that is only visible legacy as in political stand that is connected to Ojukwu that started the Biafra struggle it would be a big shame that if apc take advantage of this and sweep the state game over.

I was expecting IPOOH and Nwagoat Kanu to say APGA must win Anambra and no other party should be allow in the state because that is Igbo original party founded by Ojukwu we should not let it die so we can build on it, Biafra or no Biafra but this bastard called Kanu don't give a damn and his family are UK in good weather, good life, good education, good welfare packages and asked these fools hungry idiots to be killing themselves its a shame I never knew some Igbo could be this be so stupid.

If Kanu mistakenly show his orangutan albino looking face to create trouble the DSS, Police and army should pick him up and not only picking him up let him gone forever, grind him to pieces if even he is eventually get his freedom again he should be shaken from head to toes due to damage control on his total body system for the rest of his life. DSS, police you know what to do for a goat like him no mercy please don't kill him but make him useless and release him to his useless father and wife who could not speak to his son or her husband and lets see what will happen.

Nonsense. I don't even know who gave him the right or who elected him to speak for the Igbo in the first place? I'm really angry with this goat called Kanu. Listen all you fools IPOOH here keep calling me names I don't give a bleep, Obiano spoke yaestreday you still called him Afonja, another man from Igbo extraction who base in the North spoke you all came here calling him Afonja and Okorhausa so calling me Afonja don't move me a bit but a failure I have seen and know way back in UK will not and never be the one to be telling me what to do when he can not even measure up to me in any level except he s being stupid and being a terrorist in the name of secession.
Jackie, when it is time for election, go and vote. Don't force others into your line of thought. Leave the "touts". go and cast your vote.

At the end of the day, both IPOB and APGA will win. Any intelligent mind will deduce what I mean.
Politics › Re: What Will Happen If There Is No Election In Anambra State by ofai:
nwaanambra1:
ATTENTION NDI ANAMBRA GBURUGBURU!

For those shouting no election in Anambra State - especially those among you who are from our state, have you even sat for a moment and thought about the implications of boycotting election in Anambra State?

Well, based on the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - which Anambra state is still part of, discouraging or hindering people from exercising their franchise in an election is classified as treason and in some cases terrorism.

we all know that many people will want to go and vote so as to chose who will govern them- but based on the high number of ipob touts deployed to anambra state by nnamdi kanu, many people out of fear of being victimized will chose to stay indoors - just like it happened during the previous stay at home order by ipob. forcing people to stay indoors is classified as terrorism - that's a crime against the state.

WHAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL DO WHEN THE ELECTION IS BOYCOTTED

If ipob led by nnamdi kanu succeeds in forcing people not to exercise their franchise during the elections by staying at home, the federal government will declare at state of emergency in Anambra State - the constitution will be suspended for as long as it takes to restore order - which may last for more than two or three years.

A military administrator from the north will be appointed to govern Anambra State for the period the state of emergency will be in place.
curfew will be declared from dusk till down - and anything that moves in between those periods will be shot at - and shot to kill.

Nigerian soldiers will be deployed in the entire south east but especially in Anambra State. This military occupation will last for an upward of two to three years. Anambra state will be fully governed by the military.

THE IMPACT OF STATE OF EMERGENCY ON NDI ANAMBRA

If state of emergency is declared in Anambra State even for one week, the impact will be so devastating that we may not recover from it for the next five years! how much more if it lasts for a year! don't forget that terrorism and hunting down terrorist doesn't just end in a week or months!

the federal might will be in Anambra for nothing less than one year and during these period, all the economic advancement made by ndi Anambra and its various active governors starting from Ngige down to peter obi and being consolidated by Obiano will all be destroyed!

the vibrant economy being jealously guided by ndi Anambra will be striped to shreds by the invading army! Anambra State will be looted to the ground!

we all know the modus operandi of the Nigerian security apparatus - which is shoot then ask questions later, many ndi Anambra will lost their lives for the simple reason that they were walking too fast while going to buy bread - the casualties will be too much that it may end up touching every household in anambra state!

the army will use Anambra State for Target practice - they can target your house and bomb it - or even your entire village and bomb it and claim that it is the hideout of ipob terrorist - if they can do it in borno which is their state how much worse do u think they will do to an infidel state in an infidel land! they will rape our fine girls, kill our young men and mess our vibrant cities and villages!

And guess what? nothing will happen! you know why? because we are in a state of emergency - the constitution has been suspended. human rights is now totally on hold! anything goes!

WHAT IPOB WILL DO NEXT WHEN STATE OF EMERGENCY IS DECLARED IN ANAMBRA STATE

After the declaration of the state of emergency in Anambra State, all the imported ipob touts will disappear from Anambra State as fast as their legs will carry them! then the army will begin to kill innocent ndi Anambra youths who are never members of ipob and brand them ipob terrorist (once the state of emergency is declared, the securities will stop calling them touts and miscreants but will start calling them terrorists).

the ipob miscreants will relocate to Enugu State and start their protest there - do u know why Enugu state?

because the Abia and Imo miscreants are too smart to expose their state to such anarchy! they will never take their protest to Abia and Iimo State! ask yourself - how many times have they taken their protest to Imo or Abia State? they hold their peaceful meetings in Abia and Imo but hold their riotous protest in anambra and enugu and port harcourt!

you know why? because an average Imo and Abia man are so self centered and naturally jealous of any one ahead of them! if truth be told, Anambra and Enugu state are so far ahead of these two states and are advancing faster than they can catch up hence their desire to destroy it - by the time they are done destroying Anambra and Enugu and are heading towards port-harcourt, things would av been settled and no harm will come upon their states of Abia and Imo!

after destroying Anambra - they will face Enugu and do same to it.

BY THE TIME THE HEAT IS HOT AND KANU IS DECLARED WANTED - HE WOULD AV TAKEN OFF WITH HIS ENTIRE FAMILY AND HEAD BACK TO EUROPE THRU THE BACK EXIT AND LEAVE OTHERS TO BEAR THE BRUNT OF THE INVADING ARMY!

whenever a man talks and brags that he will defend something with his life - believe me there lies a liar and a coward who will never make any sacrifice with his goat talk less of his life! Pete Edochie.

NDI AMANBRA - WHERE IS OUR SENSE OF PRIDE IN OUR STATE? WHERE IS THE WISDOM WE ARE KNOWN FOR?

My question to any one joining in shouting no election in Anambra state is - is this what you want for our dear state?

Is the fake struggle for Biafra worth destroying our state which we have worked so hard to raise it to this level?

I will advice each and every one of our indegenes joining nnamdi kanu to please go and read up history - biafran civil war destroyed mostly only Anambra and Enugu State - the present day Abia and Imo states were relatively left untouched - hence it is still a mystery to the people of these two states how we survived the destruction so fast and still leap ahead of them!

Do not let history to repeat itself in our state again!

CHARITY THEY SAY BEGINS AT HOME! LET NNAMDI KANU START HIS CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE FROM ABIA STATE!

IF NNAMDI KANU WANTS TO CREATE CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE LET HIM START FROM ABIA STATE! LET HIM START BY UNSEATING THE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF IKPEAZU - AFTER DOING THAT, WE WILL JOIN HIM IN STOPPING DEMOCRACY IN OTHER EASTERN STATES!

Ndi Anambra please open your eyes! use your God given brain which we are known to possess in abundance in Anambra State!

DON'T LET NNAMDI KANU USE OUR STATE FOR HIS IPOB EXPERIMENT!

NDI ANAMBRA IBEM! PLEASE DON'T ALLOW NNAMDI KANU AND HIS IMPORTED IPOB TOUTS TO DESTROY OUR STATE WHICH WE HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO UPLIFT!

What we can't just wish away is the high level of examination mal-practice associated with school certificate examinations (both WASSCE and NECO). Situations where students copy answer directly from the board, textbooks or mobile devices are quite rampant. Most of the markers are directly involved in mal practice and so ignore these when marking. Examiner, invigilators and supervisors sent to schools are only after what they can make from the job.
Yes, we can celebrate our states coming tops. But the examination bodies must review their modes of operations with a view to reducing these open displays of examination misconducts among schools. Year in year out jamb is evolving measure to check malpractice. And it is paying off fine. Candidate seating for Jamb no longer play with their books. Waec and neco need to come out with an examination mal-practice detection devices to check the menace.

Only then can we truly celebrate our states. As it stands, we are only celebrating states with he highest degree of mal practice.
Envy and jealousy will kill you one day. Because your state didn't arrive tops. Is any Nigerian University among top 500? Yet you praise yourselves as being the most educated bla bla bla.

As an Anambra man and Biafran supporter, I think that APGA still stands a good chance for 3 reasons

Power of incumbecy
PDP and APC are weak in Anambra
APGA has done relatively well

However, the boycott is not about kicking APGA out or influencing the outcome of the election. IPOB does not care who the Governor of Anambra is. If 5,000 prople re-elect Obiano as Governor, it will be victory for both APGA and IPOB.

It will show that IPOB got the vast majority of the people to turn their backs on elections of Nigeria which is what election boycott is about. If IPOB can pull this off, then they can start a political revolution that my see the entire SE/SS and maybe even other regions boycott all future elections in Nigeria until a referendum is on the table

Anambra citizens are in dilemma as to who they follow come November 2017. APGA being a political party in nigeria has its base located in anambra while other states like Abia also has an impressive apga base. APGAs mission in Anambra is simple - win every election poll.

IPOB is a separatist movement which enjoys strong followership in SE/SS states. its mission in anambra is not that simple - boycott all election until the Nigerian constitution is reviewed for a referendum clause for every ethnic nationality.

time will tell who blinks first - APGA or IPOB.

APGA Victory in HIGH ELECTION POLL TURN OUT will be a victory for pro Nigerians, while IPOB victory in ELECTION BOYCOTT will be seen as a victory for pro biafrans.

NOVEMBER election in anambra will be a major litmus test for the two groups.

No Violence. Just two different civil demonstrations in action.

We are watching.

pls mynd44 let everyone especially Igbos read this.
Politics › Why I Admire Nnamdi Kanu by ofai(op): 10:44am On Jul 19, 2017
1. He is POLITICALLY INFORMED. I have watched his interview responses about Nigeria vis-a-vis Biafra and no politician has been able to counter him successfully.
He knows what he wants for his people and how to go about achieving it. He knows his biafra political base is strong both at home and diaspora.

2. HE IS HUMBLE. Yes he is, are you surprised? He makes no decision without consulting his team members both home and abroad. Humility is not timidity, while firmness is not pride. After leaving prison, he paid homage to the few reputable eastern cultural and political leaders to state and explain his mission for biafra.

3. HE IS BOLD AND FEARLESS. Even a blind and deaf man wouldn't deny that. Although this sometimes makes him look arrogant. He once told his oppressors "Binta, go and tell buhari that he is mad!". If we are honest, a lot of Nigerians would love to openly say it too. After all, Jonathan and his wife received something much worse than that.

4. HIS BIAFRAN AGENDA KEEPS PROGRESSING. Why? Because he makes good use of opportunities. His agenda now makes the northern oligarchs shit on their pants and also, makes the word "restructuring" more of a popular alternative to his biafran agenda. In all, he is hitting the very soul and conscience of Nigerians, and that has awoken fears in the elites. Even the likes of IBB, JERRY GANA, AYO ADEBANJO now sings the word "restructuring" for fear of a biafra.

5. HE IS A CULTURAL LITERATE. That is why igbos from every community and minorities too can not fault his knowledge and respect for biafran culture, whether Igbo, efik, ibibio, izon, etc.

THESE HOWEVER, does NOT make kanu perfect. He can be very arrogant and disrespectful if he feels his course is been downplayed. He is not the diplomatic type, at least not for now. In achieving ones goal, diplomacy is also important.

Am watching to see how OCTOBER and NOVEMBER unfolds.

Obi1kenobi:
Touts and the mugus they succeed in recruiting or intimidating will stay at home. Other Anambrarians will vote. Votes will be collated. Results will be announced and a victor declared. And no, I won't vote. I'll be here in Lagos and my people many of whom are civil servants, teachers, lecturers, pensioners etc will vote. And you'll remain cretins that reason through your anus who will achieve nothing. And the ones stupid enough to cause trouble on that day will be well handled by police. They are cowards when it comes to Herdsmen and Boko Haram, but dem get plenty time for IPOB touts.grin You know as e dey be....
keep revealing yourself.... you try.

whoever thought ipob/Nnamdi KANU would get this far? November will speak for itself....don't waste your data

OP I believe you not pro-biafra. You are the Judas within. But if you are not, then you are foolish because you can't eat your cake and have it.

Stop this abia vs anambra nonsense.

Igbo bu ofu/otu/nge.

From alvan ikoku (N10 protrait) to Michael OKPARA to aguiyi ironsi to ebitu ukiwe, etc etc.... Igbos in abia State have shown prowness in their profession. Stop this nonsense to you are bringing up.

If your fears are about APC taking over anambra election, won't it still be an Igbo from your state?

By the way, there can be no emergency rule because the election boycott will be a sit at home directive, and the obiano the incumbent will continue until elections hold (if it ever holds). Go and read your Constitution properly as well as the electoral reform details.

It is a well established fact that ndigbo hold the totem of MSME in Nigeria. That was why Osinbajo had to launch and inaugurate the MSME clinic in the East.

These information alone should address the unequal rivalry, we are very far ahead of these Yoruba biased ones let alone displaying our large scale enterprises.

My dear igbo brethren, pls let's not expose all our wealth to this biased set of yorubas, they aren't worth it. We should be competing with China, Japan and Germany, not these ones.

Please am pleading. In the Bible, king Hezekiah showcased all his nation's treasures and wealth to the Babylonian guests, only for these guests to return some years later to steal the wealth and destroyed some out of envy and jealousy.
