Oga cool down. It is obvious that there are infiltrators in IPOB. That is why of recent, IPOB media have been coming out to denounce certain rumors going here and there.

Today, "kanu storms Kaduna" or "ipob attacks governor in church", tomorrow "Donald Trump comes to umuahia", the latest being that "an interim government have been formed by IPOB in Nigeria"

We know all of them. Who is causing this disruptions and misinformation? It's the infiltrators!

We know.

Politics › My Take On IPOB by ofai(op): 7:12pm On Jul 31, 2017
IPOB have proven themselves to be a formidable group in sitting up the Government and speaking for the masses.

Since they have maintained a non violent stance in achieving their aim, they should be careful about infiltrators who will ride on their popularity to cause mayhem.

It is only a hypocrite that will deny IPOBs influence in waking up the various organs and tiers of government from their stupor.

I admire their firmness and unpredictability.

However they should watch it, because not every agitator is a true IPOBian. Some may be fifth columnists.

November is around the corner...

Spineless unity beggars are hoping something goes wrong with IPOB in order to reinforce their unity begging.

Referendum is a simple thing, don't let it kill you just yet.

TheVictorious:
EXPLANATIONS AND OBSERVATIONS ON THE RANKING

The ranking judges university all over the world based on the size, impact and accessibility of their research works, measured across four main indicators as briefly described below:

Presence: refers to the total number of web pages a university has, including rich files (like pdf), according to google. This accounts for 5% of the overall rank.

Impact/Visibility: How visible an institution and its work out-put is on the web. The maximum indicator value obtained from two independent link information providers (ahrefs and majestic) was utilized. The top 20 linking domains and their corresponding back links were excluded from the calculation, for reliability. Weight: 50%.

Openness/Transparency: Utilizes data from the google scholar citation of an institution. (Weight = 10%).

Excellence: Statistics of the top 10% most cited papers by discipline for a five year period of 2010 to 2014. Weight: 35%.

Harvard University (USA) emerged overall tops in the world once again, after outstandingly ranking first in just two indicators; unlike the previous edition when they were ranked first in all indicators.

University of Capetown (South Africa) maintained top position in Africa while also moving up to the 303rd position in the world.

For Nigerian Universities; University of Ibadan (UI) remained first among the country’s varsities, but also recorded an impressive breakthrough in the ranking, moving up from 1333rd position in the world to 1032nd; and breaking into the top 10 highly ranked varsities in Africa (with 9th position).

Covenant University (CU) remained second in Nigeria but suffered a huge drop in the world ranking; finishing 27th position in Africa.

University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka displaced the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) from her previously held 3rd position in Nigeria (since the past two editions of the ranking) finished third in Nigeria. position.

ABOVE IS A LIST OF THE TOP 50 UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA BY JULY 2017 WEBOMETRICS RANKING.

Interesting self-contradiction in the bolded. You decry the appeal to Western liberal values of tolerance and inclusiveness and eschewing hate speech. Then in another part of your long verbiage, you appeal to those some Western liberal values in opposing "tyranny". grin

Mind you, contrary to a lot of the claims I see, Kanu's past utterances and subversive activities would be more than enough to get him prosecuted on incitement and treason even in the liberal West. It's a miracle that the authorities have left him unscathed even as he courts more conflict and repeatedly violates his bail conditions.

I like how you compared 21st century Nigeria with 18th century America. Please, go the whole way. Take up arms against the ruling government as they did against the British. It's not just by internet chest-beating and insults. Deluded, unfortunate souls. What really gets me is despite the fact many of you agitators don't even know the name of your local government chairman in your places of origin or even residence to demand transparent, accountable and competent governance, you think your Biafran rebranding automatically solves all your problems. grin

DerideGull:
I have concluded that freedom of press is the worst drawback of democracy. To compound the worst situation is the idiotic, ill-educated and silly press. Right to freedom does not come cheap. There are acceptable perils one or group of people had to endure in pursuant of freedom. If the idiotic federal government of Nigeria does not allocate the proper resources to Igbo nation due to boycott of census, I say so be it. The fact you agreed that federal government main objective of nation census is to determine how much hand out it has to give to states raise the stake to fight for independent Biafra where census shall be used to plan and construct the economy of the state rather than handout process. What a goon of a country.

Most idiotic Nigerians will readily render the name of USA in their silly attempt to be clever during national debates. Today, the foolish Nigerians have latched onto phrases such as hate speech and other craps to tickle their moronic fancy. Yet they forgot that when USA was fighting for its independent, all manners of so-called hate speech and outright derogatory derision rained liked heavy rain. British was subject to all forms disdainful name calling and insults. At the end, arguably the world's greatest country was born.

The IPOB does not conduct election in Nigeria and it absolute idiocy to remotely insinuate that Nnadi Kanu and IPOB said election will not hold in Anambra state in particular and entire Biafran entity in general. It is right of the silly agency responsible for election in Nigeria to conduct one and it is also to right of the electorate to participate in it. IPOB has turned another page of its political arsenal, this time boycott which is an acceptable universal stance against tyranny, by simply requesting the electorate, the Biafrans, not to participate in the election. The IPOB does not want to destroy Nigeria unless Nigeria wants to destroy itself. The need for self determination is and inalienable fundamental right all human beings can exercise.

Let ask the goons that wrote the silly article if Igbo land or Biafra has the type of economic gateway situated in the defunct western region and northern region of Nigeria. Today, there are Lagos and Abuja in the defunct western and northern regions respectively. What so economic gateway had silly federal government of Niger-Area created in the defunct eastern and midwestern region respectively? For any dialogue to even remotely thought about, there must be Lagos or Abuja in the defunct eastern and Midwestern region respectively. I do not want moronic dingbat to come here lecture on USA. The south fought with union and since of the civil war, the south had produced more Presidents of USA than union. In addition, the south had the largest seaports and busiest airports when compared with the union. Can this be said about the cesspit called Nigeria since after civil war? At this stage of things, there no need to spend to time on reasonability because in Nigeria actions speak louder than thoughts.
Thank you my brother. Watch and see how they will begin to circumvent facts and then look for your typographic errors. They will even begin rant and call you an ipobian tout.

Drug pushers that disgrace the Igbo name are far more likely to fit into the IPOB tout philosophy. Stop projecting your pathologies and moral debasement on me.

And I recognize a charlatan when I see one. Nnamdi Kanu is a populist charlatan with a messianic complex. Any cursory study of his posturing, and tendency to use "I" and "me" when he speaks fits perfectly the model of a self-promoting charlatan. He's also a deluded efulefu carrying around Jewish garb to increase his mystique and making himself and his followers and by extension Igbos a laughingstock. He has no tact, subtlety or diplomacy to leverage his popularity and platform for more inclusive rhetoric and goals, instead of aggravating Middle-Belt and Niger-Delta people by claiming their lands and attracting more resentment to Igbos.

I have no problem with secessionist agitations on its own merits. I have a problem with zombies who sheepishly parrot the crazed ramblings of a self-promoting charlatan.
