Moved into a new apartment and realized the light isn't too good. Average of 6 to 10 hours per day and sometimes, there won't be light for like 3 days on a stretch.

I do freelance, love watching movies, I have a small fridge which serves me cold water, I need fan to cushion the heat. This implies that I need a constant light and with the epileptic light situation around, I felt I needed to do something.


My first thought was to get a generator. Average 1kva generator cost 80- 100k. I will have to be buying fuel, buying oil and also servicing the generator regularly.

I almost bought a new generator from jumia during the black Friday sales until I heard the rumors that fuel will likely to be sold for 320/ litre in 2022, I had to abort the generator plan and seek for alternative.


Then the thought of inverter came in. To figure out the specific watt to purchase, I first analyze the power rating of all my electronics.

1 dc led TV - 12v 3A which equals 36watt,
1 gotv - 12v 1A which equals 12wat,
1 dc standing fan in living room of 12v 2A which equals 24watt,
My laptop of 18v 2.3A which equals 41.4 watt,
1 table top fridge of 45watt,
6 energy saving bulbs of 5w each in entire apartment (bedroom, living room, toilet, kitchen, corridors, which equals 30watt
Phone chargers of 5v 2A which equals 10w.
1 wall fan in the bedroom of 45w

When I summed all the power ratings, I arrived at 243.4 watt in total.


So with miscellaneous appliances like woofer and the likes. I concluded And settled for 500w inverter.

If not for ethnic bigotry, it is obvious Tinubu's ideas, which have worked spectacularly well for Lagos, can deliver Nigeria.

Tinubu is socio-economically innovative and brilliant. He believes in free market, efficient processes, competitive and innovation-drive societies, creative ways of funding infrastructural development, privatization of specialist and technocrstic sectors to stimulate efficiency and the rise of self-sustainable States.

my own daughter is with my baby mamas father's house...not with her..I do send money to my daughter through her Dad...but she will call me that I only remember my daugyy that what of her ..

I have this my ex girlfriend that just gave birth and she do call me at times to send her money, .. and come to think of it ,she has fought me before and also insult hell out of me that time I am still searching for job, telling me I don't have money to care for her..she left me though she had a baby girl for me of which I do send money for her feeding and school fees...but she will call me that she needed some money that I should send for her...to eat is difficult, she is doing creche job that they pay her token even where she stays with her husband is her husband friends house and that one had drove them away one night ..I have to send money to her to lodge in an hotel due to pregnancy ...the same husband did not show care at all dump her aside..I ask her about the whereabout of her husband she will say I should forget him, ....I told her can't she go to her husband family house ..she said no...

Even the naming ceremony self dey did...only the husband came..and it was this my baby mama father that just organise menu for the naming ceremony...

But I do send some money to for the sake of my daughter...

I do remember those days we were together ,she will be insulting me , talking to me mannerless ...

We fought then because she dates guys arround then until I broke up with her...

Now she do call for me to send money to her ...but I don't know what to do, I don't like insulting or shouting on someone because she needs help....but I only do for the sake of my daughter...but should I stop.the husband is not serious about her ....

And this my baby mama is stubborn.. hypertensive lady ..

But if I remember those days, is as if I should remind her... and I will stop sending her money.but as a Christian I just use church mind...

If she ask me for money, I do feel pity...

Should I stop or continue assisting her...
