The problem is religious bigotry, joining a coalition of mainly Muslim countries to fight terrorism doesn't make us an Islamic our laws, our policies does.

Nigeria needs to be part of a greater struggle, whatever bigotry you come to this thread to spew doesn't change that fact.

I dare you to show any original map of the world dated earlier than 600BC. Do you even know the science of cartography? the oldest known map was preserved by Babylonian on clay tablet in 2500BC. Do you know how old 4500 BC was? that my friend was antiquity. Dude you are talking of Neolithic period where human being was still trying to figure out how to carve stone for use as hunting tool. Damn I can't believe I'm even trying to have a discussion with you
Believe whatever that makes u happy. But history no matter how hidden, is there for us all.
Oh saw my mistake now. Was working on a company project I couldn't finish in the office today, I think tiredness, stress and double tasking caused me to make the mistake. I mixed up two different events. It is not 4500 BC, but 2700 BC. Every other thing I stated here remains valid. U can dispute them.

Like I said before, Biafara was an empire founded over 5000 yrs ago, about 3000 yrs before Christ by a man called Afara. It was a vast empire cutting across large landmass extending beyond the present Gabon at the height of its power. Towards its twilight the empire fragmented into many smaller empires that assumed different identities, while only the present cameroun and her neighbours retains the original name and towards the 17th century losts the name thereby putting to end all knowledge of the ancient empire except an incorrect 17th century AD map of the area.

In the year 1967 AD, an Ijawman suggested name for the proposed new state of Ojukwu since the proposed new state sits on the heartland of that ancient Empire. The name became Biafra instead of Biafara.

According to that scroll, the Nri Empire was a fragment of that empire. It maintained diplomatic rshp with Ancient Ethiopia.

The history am referencing was marked as Sacred History. So am stopping here. Leaving the sacred for the Sacreds. Research them if you want, together with the 2700 BC map of Biafara Empire.

As of present, we have Afara, umuafara, NdiAfara and other afara villages scattered over the SE, at least one in each SE state as I was made to understand. They are all talking about the Great Afara of the ancient Biafara Empire.

Are you for real? 600BC is 600 yrs before the birth of Christ. I have two Egyptian maps 3400 BC and 2500 BC. U really need education, but educating you on sacred histories will blow you into shreds. Like I said before, research on Biafara map 4500 BC. 4500 yrs before the birth of Christ and stopped being deceived by Biafara map of the 17th century AD, i.e over 1600 yrs AFTER the birth of Christ.

Often times I wonder why IPOBs and so called Biafrans talk about the civil war and quickly link it with genocide. I wonder too why half of a yellow sun movie adopted from the book of same name will try to portray the Nigerian government in bad light without actually narrating the whole event as it occurs. It is a shame too that history is no longer taught in schools like in the old past and many supposedly educated youths are naive.

What actually happened before the civil war?

There was a Igbo Coup.. The first coup d'etat in Nigeria. Almost all of the coupists were of Igbo origin. Not a single Igbo blood was shed. Lots of Northerners and Yorubas lost their lives. Worst still, there was jubilation amongst the Igbos. Songs were made to mock the dead. Hilarious pictures mocking the dead was circulated by the Igbos. No Igbo leader or group came out to condemn the coup. An Igbo man by the name Aguyi Ironsi became the head of state. His government shielded and refused to punish the Igbo coupists which was all the majority of the northerners and the Yorubas wanted. Igbos in the north were publicly in support of the coup even though northerners were in mourning. The deaths of the northerners and the Yorubas were uncalled for and an unprovoked attack. These are what eventually led to the civil war. This is what the IPOB and Biafran agitators don't mention.

The first coup led to a counter coup where many Igbo and a few Yorubas lost their lives. The northerners took over and in retaliation of their support for the first coup, northerners started killing them. They fled to the east in droves. Ojukwu declared Biafra.
Then the Nigerian state declared war, fired the first shot and over 3 million were martyred.

People be calling Aba fake and Italian original

Italian leathers are not made for nigerian weather. Once an Italian shoe is exposed to heat, it starts to shrink until it breaks

On the other hand, aba can last in nigerian weather but the finishing is not perfection but it's improving

Same thing goes to Aba tailoring: they know th body structure of an average nigerian wch is why their clothes fit more perfectly unlike the China clothes most nigerians wear that are freakishly small n tight
I use only Nigerian Products except Hospitals, though made use of them few times. I wear Aba shoes, they are my favorites and lasts long for me. Sometimes I wonder why people degrade Aba products. I stopped wearing foreign underwears last year, my Aba made lasts longer and doesn't fade unlike those packaged imported boxers.

I use Innoson G5 Suv (white color), it is my pet. Prefers Onitsha main market to those online shops for purchases I dnt want to import.

As long as I keep dating my fiancee, the most important thing in my life, I'll forever carry Igbo matter for head.

Did u understand the post u just quoted? The problem we are having in this country is FG taking upon their self an unnecessary burden the economy cannot bear. In case you don't know, an annual budget vote to just the US defence is about 2 times our entire annual budget more than our current GDP, i.e the aggregate of all economy activities going on in this country.

US' economy is large enough to sustain any socialist programme unlike Nigeria. Again, US can never abandon a critical national priorities to fund an unnecessary socialist programme just like is obtainable in Nigeria. Do u know that, that 500bn will fix over 70% of all federal roads in Nigeria? Do you now that 500bn will upgrade our 37 federal universities to world class? Do u knw that money if invested in border defence will make us have the strongest border in Africa? Do you know that money will fix our power problem forever? Do you know when judiciously invested in the 16 federal teaching hospitals, Nigeria will boast one of the best health sector in Africa and it will eliminate forex flight from this country as a result of health tourism? Do you 500bn can upgrade our prisons to world class correctional centres? US can never sacrifice any of this just to give N10 Nasco biscuits to her pupils.

The question is not about structure but about the sense in ensuring school children have the proper nutrition on daily basis. Your twitter senator criticised the proposal and in turn suggested that all we need to do is pay teachers promptly. That is just silly if you ask me.

We need knowledgeable and well paid teachers, good structures like you suggested and well nourished school children. A hungry or malnourished child can never learn well no matter the structures put in place and that's why all reasonable people should support the feeding program of the government and not criticise it just for criticising sake like Ben Bruce is doing.
The problem with this country has alwz been the FG taking upon themselves unnecessary burdens. Now the government of Buhari has taken over parental responsibility using my tax to service an unnecessary socialist programme when we have a lot of things begging for attention in this country. Imagine 500bn naira on a senseless socialist programmes. Do you know what that money will do to our economy if judiciously utilized?

Am aware this government promised to make that payment to 25M Nigerians. I have searched the internet for the reason for the sudden change and have found none.

Is APC scamming us, or was that 1M their campaign promises to Nigerians, or do they intend to pay in batches of 1M per month?

Illiterate senator talking rubbish and thinking he's making common sense. He just goes about criticising everything just for the sake of criticising.

Primary education and paying schools teachers is strictly the responsibilities of state and local governments. Federal government is only supporting the efforts of the state government with the feeding program by ensuring school children are properly fed before classes. Students will never learn well when they are hungry so, there is nothing bad in federal governments plan.

Paying teachers promptly is good but not the major solution to the problem in the education sector. Most of the primary school teachers in rural states are not even qualified to teach and like the saying goes, 'you can't give what you don't have'. We saw the reactions of teachers in Ekiti and Edo state when the government wanted to administer competency test on them, they revolted and even voted out the Fayemi government in Ekiti and Edo state had to cancel the plan. What we should do now is for states to sieve the list of their teachers, sack the poor ones, invest massively in training the good ones and bring in fresh graduates just like the federal government is proposing with its plan to employ 500,000 teachers.
So how will eating biscuit under a dilapidated structure help our education system?
