I remembered saying around last month that I'd swing short Euraud. I did the opposite because the chart was giving a different idea. The seasonal tendency was true but only lasted one week (around the time boss peteregwu made that big swing).

The month has finished and my $100 grew fatter with my 20% win rate 🤭. It's only month 2, though. I want to see what happens by year's end.

With this in mind, I'll be looking for only swing opportunities that can offer 200 pips per month. You know what $20 per month will do to a $150 account?

Somehow I don't really shine with prop competitions and stuff. Maybe, I'll just "grow into it".

Next month's pairs are likely; GU and Eurcad. One good long position from either of them is all I need.

Btw he has tested his methods for weeks before acquiring the account, I know some of us mean well, but free him, let his edge play out.

One of the reason behind the loss of the first contest account I won here was because of comments like this (comments not from hear though). Let's allow his edge play out. He knows what he's doing

It's not about having specific rr, you take what the market makes available.

We all trade levels or zones to zones, so you take profit at your zone, your SL is what determines the rr of the trade, not you.

Two people may trade the same levels, one may have higher rr than the other person.

Na one year you go use pass be that oo.. do you realize what it means to make 160% of the 500 capital.

5% of 500 is 25usd. So risk per trade will be 25. USD. Increasing risk to 50usd when you have safe isn't bad also. Max risk should be 50usd

With up to 1:4, rr you are good to go.

It all depends on each one trading styles though.

Here's the thought coming to my mind.

if you have 10000 prop account for. example, 5percent of it is 500 usd.

That's the actual capital you have to trade with. Trade the account with the mindset that your capital is 500, not 10000

Tft denied one of such payout about $80k because they said the style of trade was not tradeable in their live environment and are not able to copy such trade.

so that's where all these payout come from.

Yeah man, I'm a witness to that of USDCHF. I shorted that pair 3 days ago from the 0.8987 level, I just opened up my chart late this morning to check on my trade and I was seeing one yeye long bullish candle forming outta no where😀😁
The only reason I didn't get towed out is because I traded off the Daily, but even at that, it just missed my SL order by about 3pips before continuing back down.

I think we might see 9055 first

Risk Management is central and basic for any trader that wants to be profitable in the long term. That is clearly not in dispute here.

Just so we are clear, if your strategy hits SL 10 times at a row, you would not bother to tweak it...?

Let's be sincere, you can't have 10 loss in a row trading the same pair, same timeframe and same strategy

Risk management is the key.

All this sophisticated technical analysis is not worth it, trade will win and lose, it doesn't matter how you analyzed the market.

Knowing this will stop one from changing systems and strategies and be at peace
