Politics / Re: Where Is Rotimi Amaechi? by officialyusuf: 11:56am On Oct 03, 2023
He's presently receiving serious multiple lashes of koboko from his political masters,ie the Oga patapata for Naija and his former state governor. Misbehaving children are always made to receive kobokos.
Travel / Re: Another Military Aircraft Crashes In Kaduna by officialyusuf: 7:53pm On Jul 18, 2021
I sincerely hope this crash report is false,a fake news. Because they are frankly becoming too much too many. It can never ever be bad as this, when everyone is having a fearful feeling that every military craft in the air could most likely come down. Really sad
Sports / Re: NFF, Friends Deserted Me During My FIFA Ban - Siasia Narrates Ordeal by officialyusuf: 9:51pm On Jun 27, 2021
Failure as they say is always an orphan while success has many fathers. Siasia sud have realized this and face the reality. I really empathize with him but more importantly this sud be a lesson to all our footballers to have a plan B, to plan to have a life outside football. Does it mean that without football, Samson siasia can never live a normal life? If that's the case,it's unfortunate and a lot is wrong. All footballers should learn from this. At the end of the day,you are on your own and nobody owes you anything. Everyman for himself, God for all.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Whale Appears At The Shores Of A Beach In Sierra Leone (Video) by officialyusuf: 7:01pm On Jun 27, 2021
The fortunate whale should without delay do Thanksgiving that it didn't accidentally drift to a Nigerian shoreline,it would have been peppersouped beyond anyone wildest imaginations. Naija no dey carry second at all at all. Cutlasses would have been hitting right, left, forward, center and everywhere.
Religion / Re: Are Muslims Truly More Than Christians In Nigeria? by officialyusuf: 10:57am On Mar 31, 2015
tomakint:
The above questions have been flying around for a long time now, the Muslim North because of their expansive landmass have always thought that should mean bigger populations than any other parts of the country. They have been living under this false belief for a long time to come, but this is erroneous to me especially when one considers the fact that many Muslims are fast turning to Christians at an exponential rate just check out the numbers of Wasius, Mojeeds, Akeems, Ibrahims, Aishats, Maryams, etc that are all over our Churches and you will marvel at what the ratio of Christians to Muslims will be in Nigeria of today! According to “Bible Probe” a few years ago, Al-Jazeera reported that roughly six million Muslims are leaving Islam and becoming followers of Jesus every year in Africa.
I wouldn’t mind if someone can supply the current ratio between the two (Of course, except it has been updated. The last time I checked, Muslims were higher in percentage - 2006 statistics courtesy Encarta 2009 edition). I have a convinced feeling that Christians are more now!
what did you check?
Religion / Re: Nigerian Population Is 50% Muslim, 40% Christian, Whats The Other 10%? Atheist? by officialyusuf: 10:54am On Mar 31, 2015
itsmayiela:
Nigerians seem to be very receptive of "foreign" religions. Islam,Christianity,Budhism,Hinduism, name them; are all borrowed religions. Why can't we practise something that was originally handed down to us by our ancestors?

Religion will not take us to Heaven; our virtuous will.Lets try and be good and shun 'borrowed' religions. Afterall, these foreign religions are only introduced to suit followers located in a particular geographical entity (Arabia, Middle-east,India,China,etc).
