Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar, has again criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku said Tinubu’s abysmal economic record was enough to justify his removal from the Presidential Villa in 2027.

According to Atiku, under Tinubu’s administration, the naira depreciated to N1,329 per dollar from N471 per dollar.

His response came after Tinubu, in his remarks at the flag-off of his re-election campaign in Kaduna on Saturday, blamed his opponents for poverty and hunger in Nigeria.

Reacting, Atiku told Tinubu that the economic hardship his administration had inflicted on Nigerians was real.

“You cannot deny it by blaming others,” he said.

He stressed that the naira had depreciated significantly under Tinubu’s administration.

“Which administration removed the petrol subsidy and watched the naira fall from about N471 to N1,329 to the dollar?”

DAILY POST reports that Atiku had accused Tinubu of being delusional over his comments attributing poverty and hunger to his opponents

Reno Omokri was once a hero to the Obidients. They followed him in large numbers and amplified his every word.

Then Mr Omokri travelled to Chicago to prove that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu did not attend Chicago State University. However what he found was the opposite. Chicago State University officials showed him evidence that Tinubu attended the school. He made his findings public, but his followers attacked him.

This was the reason why Reno Omokri turned against Obidients even while he was still supporting Atiku Abubakar. They threatened to kill his daughter (who was just a toddler at the time) and they even came to his house in the UK. They trailed him on his jogging route and published his home address in the US. He had to seek police protection and move to a new house. He has had to report a lot of Obidients that threatened him to the police in Nigeria, the UK and the US.

Mr Omokri was a hero to the Obidients when he made statements based on his emotions, but when he went to Chicago to search for facts and evidence and he discovered that things were not as he thought and he made his findings public, he became their enemy.

The threats against his little daughter has made Mr Omokri a total opponent of the Obidients. He said that he reported the threats to Mr Peter Obi and also informed him about the Obidient that he said was behind all the attacks against him, but Mr Obi did nothing about it.

There are so many people that were once Obidients or indifferent, but the Obidients have turned them into enemies with their threats, insults and bullying.
