Edo people are asking the APC  and Okpebholo to tell them why they must vote for them, putting into consideration what the APC and Tinubu-led administration have done to this country.

Address what the OP said. He made a strong allegation which is true. Obi only addresses issues that concerns other regions and not his SE. Over 30,000 Igbo students are about to miss their waec maths examination due IPOB sit-at-home order. Obi isn't saying anything. No top Igbo people are saying anything to caution IPOB.

What did Tinubu say when Yoruba Nation agitators invaded Police stations and radio stations? What did Tinubu say when Fulani killer herdsmen where on rampage in the south west. Oh I did remember, Of course, he said "where are the cows?"

why are you so worked up about what Peter Obi says or does not say when he is just a private citizen. He holds no public office.

Listen, Like I stated earlier, leave Peter Obi alone.

In as much as we say this guy Obi is cool and different and not like other politicians
I noticed he is quick to responding to events specifically in SW and few times North.
Anything bad from SE is overlooked and understandable.
From all the demolitions, to kidnaping, to threat to lives and killing, meanwhile he has condamn everything stated above in other regions especially SW.
Now we have seen all the threat, killing and properties been destroyed by IPODS and if this man no talk anything, he is nothing but a CRIMINAL.

Go and learn the new national anthem and leave Peter Obi alone

Politics / Re: Alia Awarded The Democracy Governor Of The Year 2024 By Leadership Scorecard by Ofunaofu: 11:23am On May 30
Ever8090:
Honestly I am from Benue state and I can tell you guys that, we have never experienced leadership in this form B4.

The first move Alia made was to disconnect entirely from some elements of a very strong criminal gang who call themselves stakeholders (state-looters). D guy no send party agenda which has always been to loot and share among ruling party members. They came after him with full fledge but the masses stood beside their governor.

One statement he made that cought my attention was that "it is the turn of the masses, the masses voted me to develop the state and make life easy for them not to share their common wealth to politicians.

He made it clear that he is not just representing the police but the church which he must act to display and protect .

Honestly, if given the kind of resources our states down south has, Alia will perform wonders.

I can remember during the past administration, pensioners and civil servants were dying, Benue state was a grave yard but now, he pays before 25th of every month. Our youth are even joking about it that....."Alia have empower old pensioners they are now collecting their girlfriends 😆..

Honestly Benue people have never had it this good.

May the almighty God continue to bless him and strengthen him to continue the good work he is doing

It is well with the people of Benue State

How many of those who sang the old national anthems are still alive today?

Are they going to force Nigeria athletes to learn the old national anthems? How long would the learning take?

Why should changing of national anthems be the priority for now?

Your foolish ipob head as not seen the thread where Nigeria audition for the anthem after independence n not after ?!

A simple google search would have cured you of your buffoonery and stark ignorance

What is the wisdom in jettisoning a national anthem written and composed by a Nigerian for the one composed by our colonial masters.
Are you now implying that the British, our colonial masters are in the best position to tell our story much more than us.

Whether it was before or after independence is immaterial because the ‘Nigeria, we hail Thee’, anthem was written by a Briton, Lilian Jean William, while Frances Berda composed the music

Politics / Ighodalo’s Campaign Gets Boost by Ofunaofu: 9:08am On May 30
In continuation of her regular distribution of the Benedicta’s Market Women Money, Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Area, Edo State, Benedica Attoh, along with members of Team Dr. Uyi Igbinadolor for Asue/Ogie, stormed the Agenebode Main Market, yesterday, to distribute N10,000 each to traders in support of their businesses.

While handing over the money to each of the beneficiaries, including vegetable, ‘pure water’, fufu, fish sellers, hawkers and others at the market, the National Coordinator of Team Dr. Uyi Igbinadolor for Asue/Ogie, Jude Ogbekile, urged the beneficiaries to plant the financial support from the US-based donor as a seed by adding it to their micro-businesses.

He thanked the council chairman for the good report about her human capital development activities as seen and heard during the tour in the market.

Addressing the women, the council boss introduced Dr. Uyi Igbinadolor as the donor of the N300,000 for 30 women as a lifeline to support for the poorest of the poor in the society due to the high level of hunger caused by the inhumane policies of the Federal Government.

More of the women will be captured in other zones of the local government in the next few days.

She described the lifeline support as one that is offering hope, dignity, reducing poverty, promoting self-sustainability and development. She called on public-spirited men and women to emulate the Edo-born medical practitioner, Igbinadolor, by extending helping hands to those that need help the most in the society.

Attoh also thatnked Sir Tonna Okei, a brother and friend also based in the United States, who she said facilitated the donation, saying Igbinadolor has a track record of always putting smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in the society.

She assured the distribution of financial support to the downtrodden across various markets in Etsako East Local Government would continue in Okpekpe, Imiegba and Okpella Markets.
