APC met it at N216 to a dollar in 2015. That should be Tinubu's target

This is a very big LIE and here's why.

Its the job of the opposition to always complain about ruling government. Not doing so will make it seem like theres no opposition.
In countries like they UK they even have a parallel government and used this to provide alternatives to government policies

It's also a lie from the pit of hell when claim that PBAT will make Nigeria great again
Politics / Re: "Who Will Tell The President?" By Laolu Akande by Ofunaofu: 6:29am On Apr 18
DeLaRue:

That's clearly not correct.

Naira is on the up.
Insecurity is waning.
Prices of major goods are coming down - cement, diesel, iron rods etc
Student loan scheme on the way.
Federal road construction is at unprecedented levels.
Foreign investment is pouring into the country.
Federal revenue is at unprecedented levels - about 2 trillion shared with states last month.

Not bad for a government that is less than one year in office.

If they keep performing like this for another 3 years, I personally believe this will be the best government we have had in at least 50 years.

All these things you listed and claim that the prices are coming down, how much were they as of May 29, 2023?

You seem to be describing Obidients here.

They are the ones who don't know the difference between propaganda and patriotism....thats why they always look foolish to the public because they always spread fake and unsubstantiated news

They are the undemocratic movement that wants everyone to vote for a single candidate in a democracy

Say whatever you will, PBAT is going to make NIGERIA great again

We pray that Nigeria will be great again. But PBAT having the capacity and political will to make Nigeria under his watch great again is very doubtful. He is directionless.

Some people are very sad that for once in the history of the country we have a government that is moving the country's economy in the right direction, all because the president wasn't who they liked for the job.

You and I know too well that the country is not moving in the right direction.

If the country is truly moving in the right direction, no one, I repeat, no one, will have any reason to complain.

Tinubu's economic policies have been the worst in the history of this country. Successfully turning the entire country into the world's largest IDP camp where rice, bread, palliatives, etc. are being shared to Nigerians to ameliorate the hunger and starvation Tinubu has imposed on the citizens
Politics / Re: "Who Will Tell The President?" By Laolu Akande by Ofunaofu: 6:10am On Apr 18

The government has a lot on its plate, and is addressing a multiplicity of issues.

Everything cannot be done at the same time.

The first priority is the economy, tackling exchange rate irregularities, and security. On these, the government is doing a good job.

Why should the President be the one getting directly involved in what happens to àn investigative journal about an individual. What's the job of the Police? If that fails, try the NSA.

As to the humanitarian ministry, given the monumental fraud that has gone on there since it was created, including when it was under the direct supervision of the former vice president, Mr Laolu's boss, the present government is right to take its time in reworking the program or even scrapping it.

Ambassadors? What ambassadors. Nigeria is missing nothing from not rushing their appointments. It's usually job for the boys. Many of them add no tangible value.

Given Mr Laolu's role in the previous government, he and that government was hardly a beacon of effectiveness. He is not in a position to lecture anybody.

I agree that everything cannot be done at the same time, but in this case, nothing is being done.

It's been all motion without movement from day one.

And here is my take for the week entitled: "Who Will Tell the President?" - Mr Laolu Akande.

Who will tell the president that the attempts to intimidate the press is not in Nigeria's best interests and that it creates a poor reflection on the president that we all know is a true democrat? If the smuggling allegations that Soyombo has reported are inaccurate and false, the government should tell us. Going after him and the board of FIJ is not the way to go.

Laulu Akande, with all due respect, you are wrong about the bold

Tinubu has never been, will never be, and can never be a true democrat.

A true democrat respects the sanctity of the people votes and, as such, will never engage in snatching, grabbing, or running away with the people's mandate.

A true democrat doesn't engage in criminal state capture or become a buccaneering power grabber.

A true democrat doesn't engage in the Emilokan thuggish, ethnic, tribal, and religiously divisive brand of politics Tinubu engages in.

A true democrat will never build a blueprint conduit pipe from the coffers of the Lagos State Treasury to his personal company, milking the entire common wealth of Lagosians for over two decades and counting.

A true democrat will never arrogate to himself and himself alone the power to appoint who becomes the governor of Lagos State. A true democrat will allow the people to choose who they want.

A true democrat doesn't engage in spreading lies, falsehoods, and propaganda. He doesn't use propaganda to govern

You don't just arrogate the name "true democrat" to yourself. Your actions and inactions will determine whether one is a true Democrat or not.

Tinubu and True Democrats are like two parallel lines, and like they say, two parallel lines don't meet.

I know you are allergic to good things, so let me help you out. Calabar stretch of this project will commence next month and will work concurrently with this one. Afterwards, Delta and Bayelsa and so on. And all they have to do is approximately 7km per month to deliver this project is 8 years or 14km per month to deliver it in 4 years.

Don't worry, you go cry and cry because this is just the beginning. Emergency lover of Nigeria.

Can we bet that this project wouldn't go beyond 50% in the entire duration of the Tinubu administration?
