The Southeast politicians and their appointees should stop spreading propaganda and false narratives that Ndị Igbo didn't join the protest yesterday because they've been able to properly engage them and everyone agreed that there's no need to join the protest because things are alright across the 5 southeast states.

This is propaganda taken too far! As we speak today, there's no part of Nigeria that's not taking its fair share of the hardship and maladministration that's holding Nigeria to the jugular. The fact is that all right thinking and responsible Igbo Sons and Daughters chose to boycott the protest solely to teach the other tribes and ethnic groups a lesson.

We wanted them to enjoy the wrong choice they made. We wanted them to know that we've taken into cognizance their docility and hypocrisy in the previous national outings of this nature. We wanted them to know that we won't continue to allow them use us as the sacrificial lambs.

Therefore, let the so-called southeast leaders stop using our none involvement in the protest to achieve cheap political popularity. You really didn't stop anybody from joining the protest, and you couldn't have done so if the people had chosen to hit the streets. Since 27th of July 2024 that @LAGOSPEDIA made a very divisive and anti Igbo post on its X handle that Ndị Igbo should leave Lagos and other southwest states, else they'll be forcefully ejected after 30th of August with a hashtag #IgboMustGo ; none of the Igbo leaders, not even the chairman of the southeast governors forum has summoned courage to openly condemn that statement.

But you're running from one TV and radio station or the other to claim that Ndị Igbo didn't join the protest because of the good governance they're enjoying in the southeast. That's completely balderdash!

Let it be on record that H.E Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the only leader who has come publicly to condemn the call by @lagospedia to eject Igbos from Lagos and other southwest states. A shame to the so-called Igbo leaders!!

Every State in Nigeria has many many abandoned projects that lots of money was wasted on by the the previous administrations. In fact, any change in government brings to a total stop to many projects that their predecessors were doing. It's verifiable. Too bad. Waste of resources
