I still don't know how we were cajoled to protest against fuel subsidy in 2012 (perhaps except for the looting)

What do I mean? Take a look at the price of our deregulated diesel flying high at #810, 850 and above and see the harsh effect on food prices and cost of long journeys.

If Peter Obi has an alternative to fuel subsidy that the world doesn't know of, he should hint us. It would be disappointing to ride to victory using lies

But you follow protest against subsidy in 2012 and now you say subsidy is necessary. Pick a side. How can we spend more on petrol than on education and health? If there was constant power won't our consumption of fuel reduce.

Let us be honest the subsidy is actually an inflated figure people use to siphon money. I am hoping Obi wins and show how government have been scamming the people.

So I watched Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima's interview on Channels and AriseTV respectively. Obviously, they know they cannot win the election alone. Fact remains that Kwankwaso is only popular in Kano and that is where he can win (not even a straight fight there). Unfortunately, he needs Peter Obi more than Obi needs him.

This illusion of north determines who gets to power is just a funny one. Buhari bosted of 12 million votes, he needed south to win, Jonathan contested with an unpopular Sambo and he won. The only election a Northerner has won was because of the caliber of their vice. Yaradua won because of Jonathan, Buhari won because of Osibanjo from the south (and the Tinubu + Redeemed Church) factor.

I would love everyone to run individually and hopefully no rigging. At least let us test the electoral value of Kwankwaso and Peter Obi even if they do not win
