First to discuss is the land. We have done farms previously in Delta state, Edo State and Oyo state. The verdict is that Delta state is better for us due to the longer length of the farming season. So we have settled for Delta state and leased 100 acres for a start. We can get thousands of acres if we want, but we have started with 100 acres. |
This thread is to document my mechanised farming experience. We just received most of the equipment for the farming. Hopefully this dry season will give us opportunity to put them to work. Feel free to give us any advice you think can help us. |
ecel:Yes but what is your cost like per hectare |
There are different fatty acids that can be got from vegetable oil. You need to ask the importer which specific fatty acid he is looking for. Presco near benin city produces fatty acids from vegetable oil. They might have what you are looking for. I think. Presco is your best bet for pure fatty acids. Also Rivoc in trans Amado port Harcourt process vegetable oil using a process similar to what you drew. I think one of the products from ttheir process is the calcium salts of fatty acids, you can easily process that into fatty acid for export. You may also check with Braffina I think they have a vegetable oil processing factory at Onitsha. |
Nice thread |
What is the cost |
What is the cost of 20ft and 40ft dry container |
Kizyte:Nice one, but the stake are too far apart. It should be at a maximum distance of 10ft from each other. Add more support to the middle now otherwise the weight of the plants will sag the rope later. If you try to add more support later will damage the roots. |
babdap:This must be a member of ISIS sleeper cell. |
kastroud:Your stupidity is legendary. 5th May 2010 to 29th May 2015 is 6 yrs to you idiot. |
Can you post the guidelines here so people can learn about it |
Kollyman:Is your hatred for the Niger delta inbuilt or was it acquired? How did Jonathan's rule of 2010 to 2015 equal 6 yrs. Did you get F9 in maths? |
jwax:How many seed tray are you looking for. I will have 108 cell seed tray in 2 weeks time. I can sell some to you |
This same thing happened in 1984, when people had to steal food from the fire because of excessive hunger. It is good that everyone is enjoying Buhari's change now, when they were warned that Buhari is bad news, they called us names. The only difference now compared to 1984 is that they are not queing for Bread, salt, sugar, soap and cooking oil. And that is because we now have the Ecowas treaty that will ensure that those things come in through the land borders even if Buhari dares to ban the import. That Obiageli and Berem that were promoting buhari like the best thing to happen to the universe have gone into hiding now that people are stealing food to survive. |
What is the cost of whole grain per kg that you want to sell spent grain at 50 naira per kg |

you can never say in the world we live in today. anything goes |
Instead of long grammer. Interim Forfeiture is temporary impounding of the property of an accused person until the case is tried and closed. If the accused is found guilty by the court at the end of the trial, then a final order of forfeiture will be issued by the court and the property will become a property of the Federation, sold and the money paid into the federation account. However, if the person is not found guilty of the offence at the end of the trial, the property impounded by the government through the initial interim forfeiture order will be released back to the owner. So items seized through interim forfeiture does not yet belong to the government until the case is concluded. |
ncolumella:Nice thread. can I get a copy of the business plan, if you are able to convince me from the business plan I will buy one plant. I like to see the plan as regards Benin or Port Harcourt. Do you supply the gas to the plant owners or how do one ensure he gets regular supply of LP gas. |
fabianiweka: fabianiweka:Laws are made for a reason, not for fun. Export of sawn wood is prohibited to save our forests and to encourage local processing of wood products. Exporting banned products "through the right nigerian channel" smells like bribing officials to look the other way. If export of wood was encouraged and allowed over the years, you might not even see any wood to export today as others would have cleared away every single tree before now. Be patriotic and engage in sustainable and lawful business. |
fabianiweka:Hope you realise that export of sawn wood from Nigeria is contraband and it is on the export prohibition list. Just one day, custom can wake up and seize all your goods at the port. |
Nice advice coming in |

The land looks nice. Is there other money that need to be paid? will one get C of O for the land? |
115 billion dollars campaign fund? If pdp had 115 billion dollars to use for election even tinubu would have taken his cut and campaigned for pdp. EFCC is lying more than Lie Mohammed these days |
post pictures of the lands. State what other facilities are nearby to the land, things like access roads, irrigation scheme or other source of water, GSM network coverage at farm site. Will there be any insurance for the fund invested? what happens if the crops get eaten by fulani cows, or insects or there is no rainfall and as such poor yield, so many what ifs, How is the investors fund protected. What if you simply take the investor money and disappear to marry wife number x+1 with it?? |
OP you have not started. You have searched for 6 months and you are talking of Suicide. Hang around court and do Charge and bail. Hang around police station and represent poor people who do not have legal representation for a small fee Attach yourself to estate agents and start drafting deeds and other property sales and rental agreements. In short, I feel like slapping sense into you. |
Base your business model on paying the right price for your input. People will sell to you. You have not started yet you are talking of cheap input |
This guy is going to be used as a scape goat in the Amaechi vs Rivers people fight. |
Hmm I believe you have lost my number. Call me |
CrazyScientist:I think you are the liar in this case. The bill as written is very evil. The land use act vests management of the lands within the state on the government of the state, this evil bill only says the governor of the state will be notified of the decision to take over the land for the purpose of establishing grazing reserve and routes. They are not asking for the governor's permission so whether the governor likes it or not, they can take the land and gazette it as grazing reserve. The clause that you can not take the grazing reserve commission to any court without first getting permission from the government is intended to make it impossible to get any redress in court on dispute about the land. So if this bill passes, the fg takes your land and if you don't like the terms, you will need the permission of the fg to sue the fg to get back your land. How will anyone get approval from the fg to sue the fg? Globally, people build ranches from their personal funds and house their animals in the ranches, they raise and sell their animals as a business with expenses and incomes, and make good profit from doing this, why should Nigeria case be different So in summary they want to pass a bill that allows the fg to take any land it wants and make it impossible to challenge such takeover in any court. This is evil I just hope their is no bill like this being actually discussed. |
