That picture sure look like Oshomole hanging Lara's pant No wonder he has been running his mouth. |
I see many kids on this thread hailing the trade restrictive policies of the govt. Anywhere there is trade restriction, economic growth suffers. And many of you hailing the trade restrictions will suffer more. If the keep the restriction on import of vital industrial raw materials like palm oil, cold rolled steel and galvanised steel, industries will either fold up or downsize. The shortfall in industrial output due to this will be filled up by smuggled imported products, who losses. I think the WTO needs to have a good talk with the govt. If the govt insist on trade restrictions when the world is moving towards trade liberalisation and countries are sign bilateral trade agreements daily, then Nigeria needs to be shown the way out of the WTO. We can then choose to isolate ourselves like North Korea and keep all the foreign exchange, while they citizen stay impoverished. |
Now this is what we call CHANGE ![]() Jonathan allowed freedom of speech and freedom after speech. With this CHANGE, is seems soon there will be neither freedom of speech or freedom after speech. I want our lovely brothers down south who told us we now have a reformed dictator to explain what is happening to us. Can a dictator really be reformed? What is the reformation process like and what are the evidence of such reformation. |
WE ARE WINNING THE WAR.........Buhari I think we need to probe the WE in this Buhari statement. Does the WE refer to Boko Haram or what. |
What Ashawohole lost in height he is making up with mouth. I think there should be a law banning politicians from marrying from Cape Verde. The girl is making Ashawohole go crazy. |
Op nice write up. But you can only write this because you still reside in Nigeria. It is nice that you wrote that some Nigerians can put you into trouble with the authorities if you try to help them. That is really the fear among many Nigerians abroad. You can invite a Nigerian over, try to assist him/her settle in and before you know the guy tries the Nigerian mentality of trying to beat the system and you start having trouble with police. No one wants police at his door when abroad. People still help just that one has to be careful while helping so that you don't put yourself in trouble. We currently have 2 cases right now. Two Nigerian girls came over to do little jobs based on assistance from other Nigerians. One chose to steal a cellphone and has been repatriated after weeks in detention, the other one chose to come in pregnant even when unmarried and hence failed pre-employment medical tests. If only we can be more abiding, helping will be less stressful for everyone. |
This is certainly a case were the accused needs to be presumed innocent until proven otherwise. The average Nigerian woman will not help not help her husband to rape another woman. They need to question the girl very well. |
LordMecuzy:Stupidity is when you do the same thing and expert a different result. Has your fulani god built any power station responsible for the power improvement? Sorry to burst your burble, the power sector has been privatised by the previous regime and the privatisation is bound to lead to improvements. If they leave these body odour smelling praise singers, they will praise Buhari until the nation sink. |
Wait for dry season before jumping up and down. We always had more reliable power supply during raining season since the time of Mungo Park. |
There is a limit to the number of meetings a 22 man delegation comprising mostly politicians can attend |

Good move by the military who stormed the capital to put pressure on the coupists. Way to go |
femu:Who or what are you thinking will breach the fence. Note that the fence is for animals not humans. When cows try to breach barbed wire fences they normally come out badly hurt by the fence. Always. You can electrify it with a solar fence charger if you want to make it more difficult to breach, but that is extra cost and is very deadly to animals to combine electricity with barbed wires as animals trapped in the barbed wires are unable to escape the electric shocks. Unfortunately I can't give you a cost breakdown to fence 1000 hectares at this time. I don't sell fencing materials. I have a rough idea of the fencing cost because I am working on fencing my farm soon. I can give you a cost breakdown when I finish my fence. |
Ok. I will call you. But note I said stem, not sucker |
femu:With 3m naira one should be able to fence 100 hectares with 4 strands of barbed wires. I don't think that should be a problem for someone who is able to buy 100 hectares of land. From reports Olu Falae has been having running problems with cattle herders and was finally kidnapped from his farm this week. I think a man like Falae should be able to fence his farm. Even in civilised places like the US, farmers still fence their farms, why can't we do the same in Nigeria |
femu:This is not a 1st time problem. This problem has been faced by others before. We need to ask ourselves, how did others solve the problem when they faced it. Every country had nomadic herding of animals at one point or the other in their history. How did they overcome animal destruction of crops? The barbed wire is potent in keeping animals in check. For the new breed farmers who put a lot for their live savings into crop farming, investing some extra money to protect your crops from destruction should be high on the agenda. And you might actually be protecting your live as well. Arguement over cattle destruction of crops claim the lives of many farmers yearly.

Tinubu be like " Na today I dey commit crime? I carry coke for US, dem nor fit do me anything na for naija dem go for do me something? I just dey look them, No shaking" |
Op you are confusing yourself. In one hand you say he is innocent until proven guilty in court, in another vein you are saying he should resign even before he is proven guilty. So he should serve the punishment before being proven guilty. What happens if he resigns and after the trial the court finds him innocent, will you give him back the the seat of senate president? In your mind you believe his is guilty until proven otherwise hence your call for him to resign. The law does not work that way. Anyway you can easily walk to the national assembly and force him to resign with your superpower |
GGfadar:There are options for low cost ranching. One can house the cows in a plot of land and buy grass from the sorrounding areas and truck the grass to the farm house. I have a friend who does this and it does not look expensive. |
GGfadar:Your suggested solution is not possible in Nigeria. The Fulani cattle herders have 2 different armed wings. If their cows start dying they will send one of their armed wing to kill and rape the farmers. That is why you hear of so much conflicts between the cattle herders and farmers. If the cows destroy crops and the farmers kill the cows in retaliation, the cattle herders simply call in their armed guards who come in with rifles to kill the farmers. If their armed guards is overpowered by the farmers, the Fulani cattle herders simply call in the military to shoot the farmers into submission. The farmers don't have any countermeasures against the military that is why the farmers are always losing the battle against the cattle herders. It is sad that the Nigerian military is the 2nd armed wing of the Fulani cattle herder and routinely kill farmers in support of the Fulani cattle herders. I still believe fencing each farm with barbed wires or electric fence will be the best way each individual farmer can protect his crops. Also farmers needs to deal with traitors among the community. From my experience, the cattle herders normally pay someone within the community who in turn gives them the go ahead to graze on grass in the community. If you don't want Fulani cattle to destroy your crops, don't take money from them with the promise of allowing them to graze their cattle in the community. And southerners need to start opening ranches and keeping cattle. That way we can limit nomadic herding of cattle in the south. |
Fence your farm with barbed wire |
Op what is your problem. Enjoy the Change or join the Syrians and swim to Europe. This is the season of change. Did you not hear of 97% vs 5%? That family is among the 97% of that state so they are entitled to 97% of the appointments. If you think it is not fair then ask Buhari |
This is the problem with the way they fight corruption in Nigeria. They only remember a politician is corrupt when he steps on big toes. Ibori stepped on Obasanjo and Jonathan's toes and he was sent to the coolers, Alams moved with the wrong crowd and was impeached by Obasanjo and his looting was brought to the open. Atiku stepped on Obasanjo's toes and he was turned into the face of corruption. Now they are just remembering that Saraki is corruption personified just because he stepped on Tinubu's toes At what point are we going to fight corruption just for the sake of fighting corruption? The current strategy of only fighting political opponents and terming it fighting corruption will not lead us anywhere, it simply makes politicians to move camp to dominate party or camp and continue the looting and avoiding stepping on toes. |
Can you post pictures of the ore you have. Can you post the analysis result |
Is the rock suitable for blasting and crushing to make granite for construction? |
Op you need to provide more clarity. There are cracked palm kernels in which the shells has been been removed, and we have have uncracked palm kernel with shells. Which one are you looking for. Both are different are are bought by different companies. One leads to profit, the other leads to penury |
What are they studying in school. Which city do they want to do the IT |
Op meeting your wife between day 8 and day 20 is the fastest way of getting junior. Please correct your post. |
There is no law anywhere that limit the amount of money you can carry, just that if you carry money beyond the limit set for undeclared fund then you have to declare it. You can carry 1 million dollars on you but declare it at the airport, don't hide it. That is the legal stand, however if you carry large sum of money on you then you expose your self to other risks. One, security officials at the airport can arrest you illegally in a bid to fleece you of your money. After all you can not claim that you don't have money for bribe. And in Nigeria there are always unwritten laws that officials can pull up from thin air just to get money off you, so they easily say bta is 4000 usd and as such you should not have more than the bta on you. Same argument used by Buhari in jailing Fela during his first |
OP to cure yourself of some of your stupidity, try putting the regions of those people into the picture. How much are you being paid that warrants twisting the truth. |
trendphemmy:I will advice you to grow annual crops, this is because you seem not to have a concrete plan yet. Things like maize, plantain, pineapple or maybe cassava will be ok for now while you have time to plan for the long term use of the land. Long term plantation crops like oil palm requires having a long term plan and it should fit into your overall long term goal. It does not help to grow oil palm and attempt to change your mind 3 yrs down the line. |
