*EBONYI APC APPLAUD NIGERIA JUDICIAL SYSTEM FOR UPHOLDING THAT GOVERNOR UMAHI DID NOT CONTRAVENE ANY SECTION OF THE CONSTITUTION, OR ANY OTHER LAW OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA FOR DEFECTING TO ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) FROM PDP.*


By the judgment of the Federal Appeal Court, Enugu today, April 1st, 2022 which upheld the position of Ebonyi State High Court that Governor Umahi and his Deputy cannot vacate office for defecting to APC from PDP as a true position of the law, the confidence of the common man in the judiciary has been rekindled and hope restored.

With every sense of responsibility, the All Progressives Congress, Ebonyi State wishes to formally appreciate Nigeria Judiciary System and indeed, the great men and women of Nigeria who were worried on the judgment of Justice Ekwo Inyang of Abuja High Court and deemed it very necessary to stand out and lend their voices and resenting opinions to that shocking pronouncement seeking the vacation from office by the Governor of Ebonyi State and his Deputy, even after his brother Court of equal jurisdiction has declared that the Governor and his Deputy committed no offence under any law of the Federation by defecting from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is very pertinent to note without mincing words that Nigerian's judicial system remains the last hope of a common man, we are grateful to God who did not allow the abuse of court process to stand. We thank immensely, the great Ebonyians and APC faithful for their show of maturity in handling this provocative pronouncement of the Abuja High Court and for their unprecedented support and solidarity during this period.

Let me specially thank the leader of APC in Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE Governor of Ebonyi State, for remaining focused and resolute in delivering the dividends of democracy to Ebonyi People and most especially, for believing maximally in the efficacy of the Nigeria judiciary which has been proved today by the Appellate Court in Enugu.

I want to call on all Ebonyi sons and daughters to continue supporting Governor Umahi’s administration and APC led Government in the State, haven seen that the political propaganda being peddled by the dubious Abuja based politicians is nothing but a deceitful plot by enemies of the state, who never mean good for her people, even after occupying bigger positions in the country. Ebonyi People cannot be deceived again. We shall defend our state with all our strength and might and will resist any attempt to distract our wonder working Governor.

Governor Umahi a true leader backed by God and not a ruler. He is on Divine mandate in Ebonyi State and no man can stop him until he finish his tenure and take over the number one position of this country. He is David and should not be touched by any hatchet man. Ebonyi is on a solid foundation and our God will disappoint the devices of the crafty, so that their hands will not perform their enterprise in our State.

Chief Engr, David Nweze Umahi is a solid rock no one can crack him. Our workaholic governor should know that When God is set to take him far, He starts separating him from the set of people who are not needed in the journey.

PDP is at lost and has nothing new to offer Ebonyi state having been in power for 16 years without bringing about positive development in the state, is it now that they are ready to do that?

Chief Engr. David Nweze Umahi ambition is divine. It is God's divine invitation to come and serve Nigeria. God saw in him what He saw in David of the old and He asked him to come and lead Ebonyi State and will soon lead Nigeria come 2023.

Anyone that will stand on his way is simply on the way of the Lord and the consequences and implications will not be bearable.
Some Ebonyians who haven't been home for the past six and more years, keep pinching themselves today to ascertain whether they are in a dream land anytime they come into the state, particularly the Abakaliki capital city: "Is this really Ebonyi State?" They keep asking in utter wonderment. This is what our dear Governor has done to put our dear state ahead of other states in the comity of states in Nigeria and we must continue to showcase his great feats to the world as the pride of the Igbo nation regardless of opposition diatribes that are viciously and desperately concocted to create the impression that the Governor has not achieved anything in the minds of the uninformed.

Opposition is good in a democracy because it offers itself to the people as an alternative government in the next election, but in Ebonyi State and indeed Nigeria, the opposition is not living up to expectations in convincing the people that it can do better than the ruling party because what the opposition knows how to peddle in the social media are falsehood and fake news.

Those of us who are for Chief Engr. David Umahi, we don't relent in marketing the leadership excellence of our principal to the people even though his imprints are primarily on the public domain for everyone to see, but those on the other side dissipate so much energy on abuses instead of galvanizing support for their principals. Could it be that they have nothing to tell the people about their principals' achievement.

Accept it or leave it, Governor Umahi is the the star of the East, he belongs to the nucleus of the cream of the Nigerian pride and we are not ashamed promoting him in the media unlike opposition media handlers who are ashamed and who often shy away from publicly promoting their principals because they have no achievement to talk about.

My visit to Abuja during the convention explain a lot of things to me that by God's special and sufficient grace, nothing, absolutely nothing will stop him from becoming the president of Nigeria come 2023.

Let's support the best Governor in Nigeria Chief Engr David Nweze Umahi.

On the basis of intellectual standards, worthiness, integrity & leadership capacity, Gov. Nyesom Wike lacks the comparison of standing Gov. David Nweze Umahi anywhere, this is not a matter of bigger allocations and State Government revenues, what I mean here is a result oriented State government even with meagre resources just like the testimony & heavy evidences abound everywhere in Ebonyi State.

Gov. David Nweze Umahi is exalted and praised for his ingenuity in leadership and in this parameter, Gov. Nyesom Wike misses in the list, therefore has no single reason to attacking the leader and a rallying point of Ndi-Igbo Political Front Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi.

Gov. Nyesom Wike should not forget how he became the governor of River State, he should look back and retrace his steps knowing fully well that he was propagated on the medium of grace and not on muscle flexing, so if he doesn't stop now he will be disgracefully stopped.

His continuous excesses & looseness in speech coupled with his high-handedness in the comity of Nigeria political terrain is becoming enough of him, this is a risk of ending himself destructively just like Nebuchadnezzar who arrogated himself a demigod.

He should henceforth hold on his venoms which he rotates and shares verbally attacking Leaders of our great Nation as if he became a governor with a concocted certificate or from the backdoor.

It was not long same Gov. Nysom Wike picked up a fight against the deputy governor of Edo State which Godwin Obaseki the Edo State Governor himself replied him in a hot measure, Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar, Tokpesi, Tambuwal, Prince Uche Secondus and many other leaders too numerous to mention which has kept PDP today nationally in a coma.

One thing Governor Nyesom Wike should know in life is acknowledging that power has always come from Heaven above, no man gives it, therefore one should not pose as a threat to another.

Governor David Nweze Umahi is a grace carrier, he is personified of God's grace, that he will successfully handover to his successor is already ordained & will be sworn in thereafter as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and no one can stop it.

Respectively, whoever that knows Gov. Wike should take him to chain, warn him and make him know that Governor David Nweze Umahi is a lion and own the Den, no one dares nor touches his tail, we can not watch a busy body and Mkpuru-Mmiri addict like him hauling insults on our reverend Apostle.

Breaking: Anyim, Okorie Fights Dirty Over Guber Ticket as Anyim Slaps Okorie, orders him out of his Abuja home

There is currently major disagreement between the former secretary to the government of the federation, Anyi Pius Anyim, and the immediate past OHANIVO Federal House of Representatives, Linus Okorie over the handling of the state party through his brother who is allegedly foisted to the state party as her Chairman, Tochukwu Okorie.

This allegedly gathered to have occurred on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Abuja home of the former Secretary to Government of the Federation.

An eyewitness, Princess Stella, narrated to us that the trouble started immediately Okories supported the signing of the zoning arrangement to a particular clan and a particular person which till now is yet to pick the Gubernatorial Ticket of the Party by the Ebonyi State publicity secretary of the Party, a move which did not go down well with Pius Anyim and his group. Anyim had confronted Okorie during his visit to his Abuja home on Wednesday, querying the reason behind the secrete zoning of the party gubernatorial ticket against Obinna Ogba and some other stakeholders of the party, he explained to Linus that it was a plan in futility as his opinion should be sought before such action will be taken to the extent of putting it up to the public only for him to read it. Anyim maintained that he is a major stakeholder of the party in the state and deserves to be consulted on such ground. He expressed bitterness that Linus Okorie could start in such a direction, using his brother against the stakeholders of the state. “Do you know how many years I have been in politics; how could you take a decision involving who will fly the Guber ticket of our party through your brother without involving me? Is this how you want to use Tochukwu your brother to run our party?

While Anyim was still speaking, Linus Okorie interjected him, referring to him as sounding ‘stupidly’ and like ‘a broken bottle’, he further tried to explain that he came to intimate him on that particular purpose and other matters of the party, but Anyim was already infuriated by the name-calling by the former lawmaker and he rose from his seat and slapped him.

In retaliation, Linus angrily headed for the mirror in the living room, clashed it to pieces on the floor, and headed for Anyim before neighbors gathered. Anyim insisted that Linus and Tochukwu must leave his house immediately.

Justice Inyang Ekwo's ruling today, myths & reality!

At the resuming hearing today, Chukwuma Ma-Chukwu Ume, SAN the lead Counsel to David Nweze Umahi & Dr. Igwe his Deputy prayed Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja to withdraw his motion for stay of Execution in Suit FHC/ABJ/CS/920/21 as the appeal has been entered at the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division! The lead Counsel of PDP Emmanuel Ukala, SAN* did not oppose the application for withdrawal of the said motion & the learned Judge has no other jurisdiction save to strick out the pending motion before him! .

The Court never refused the application as it was never moved before him. Stricking out is not the same as dismissal in law!

EBONYIANS REJECT GOVERNORSHIP BY NOMINATION

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. The journey of life is ups and downs. The beauty of life is in making success out of failure. There is nothing absolutely wrong in falling. It is the capacity to rise that matters. There is nothing absolutely wrong with having challenges. It is the tonic of life and makes life more interesting. And what is currently happening is not far from one of those things that go with life activities, politics not exempted.

I heard a pathetic story of a baby mosquito that was happily sent on errand by its mother. On returning from the awesome journey by the baby mosquito, the mother mosquito curiously asked " how was your journey? " . And the baby mosquito answered and said " mummy it was wonderful because as I was passing , men were clapping for me! " . The mother quickly cautioned " when men are clapping for you, your life is in danger". And this is the situation in Ebonyi State at the moment. Some people are clapping for PDP so called judgement but forgetting that PDP is suffocating into oblivion .

The judgement of Abuja Federal High Court is nothing to write home about. Firstly, the judgement cannot be substantiated as it lacks every sense of constitutional background. Secondly, it is constitutionally deficient of legal ingredients. How can we have a Governor of our dear State through nomination by few individuals . Whereas we have a competent, pragmatic and proficient Governor elected through democratic means and loved by his people. This is out of this world order of judgement. And I make bold to say that this is unacceptable and we reject it in its entirety.

We love His Excellency Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi and we are not ready to scatter the good works he has been doing and is still doing for Ebonyi State and it's people. We will not trade him for anything. Therefore, those who are behind this constitutional murder should know that they don't in any way have the interest of the people of Ebonyi State at heart. We urge them therefore to sheath their sword and embrace peace for the upliftment of the State. Instead of plunging the State into chaos for selfish and personal interest and reason.

The attention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Ebonyi State has been drawn to the unconstitutional and senseless call by Ebonyi PDP to INEC demanding for certificate of return.

We would have elected to remain calm but we see the need to make clarifications in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as thus:


1• APC has described as foolishness of the highest order by Ebonyi PDP in demanding for certificate of return from INEC for their purported candidates for an election their said candidates never participated.

2• The constitution of Nigeria section 285(13) and the amended electoral laws both 2010 and 2022 including all known cases of both Appeal and Supreme Court decisions, already made it clear that you cannot benefit or sue or be used for election you did not participate as candidate (s)

3• It is therefore very funny and childish for PDP to be requesting for certificate of return from INEC even without regards to Abakaliki Court order which is a judgement in REM on the seat of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State.

4• Ebonyi PDP is warned to desist from deceiving herself and the general public knowing very well that the said judgement have since been appealed and notice of appeal and stay of execution served on PDP.

5. We are now aware of who and who are behind the crisis/cases Ebonyi State Government including all the insecurity in the State since the Governor defected from PDP to APC. APC Ebonyi State will deal decisively with anyone who leaves his Facebook foolishness in the name of being nominated as candidate and steps Ebonyi State to further their crisis and insecurity.

6. Ebonyi State Government is stable and all projects and programmes are ongoing and will not stop.

7. Ebonyians are requested to be calm and vigilant and assured that justice is already at hand.
