trublvr:
OP, do as he says.
Wash those clothes sharply! Its a submissive attitude that a woman needs to cultivate before marriage.

Whatever he tells you to do, do and don't complain. When you finish the laundry, sweep his house, polish his shoes and wipe his arse for him also!
And stop complaining. You are a woman, therefore doing laundry is encoded in your DNA. Its all part of showing off your "submissive" side...

OP,you are one of those who are greatly influenced by what people think and not by what your heart takes.
Come on!That you're in a relationship is suggestive that you're mature for it.You should be able to take this personal decision on your own!
You are not comfortable with doing your boyfriend's laundry means you do not think it's proper. So why asking us?

I like girls who can take decisions on their own and stand on it,even if the whole world kicks against it.
you know that adage "person wey the ask question no dey lose road? Anyway i hrd my reasons for asking this questions, is not about beign indecisiv or anything, tnx for your comment anyways

You are not yet married and he is stressing you this way?

Please what is the level of commitment? Has he shown seriousness? Or attempted to meet your parents or even siblings? Yes it very serious

Can we know the sacrifices he has made for you? How well does he regard you or take care of you? Please answer these questions .atleast to a large extent it will assist many nairalanders in reaching a conclusion

Let's please get to have a clearer pix of your relationship and then know some facts about the bobo

@OP my advice to you is simple. Upgrade and start dating a guy that has a Washing machine/dryer and also a dish washer, so you don't have to do anything. I am sure you don't like cooking too right?date a guy that loves cooking and or his mother brings him food for it to be refrigerated.

Just curious about you, so my question to you is that WHAT EXACTLY do you women think you even bring into a relationship?any relationship?your minds are fixated in marriages and how to hook a guy alone. But, when it comes to actually doing anything tangible, you start complaining.

I have no problems catering to my man but it becomes a problem if he starts carrying face when I don't want to do something I do or can do.

Then again OP, have you done his laundry before? Did he ask before you did it? Does he think it's a must you do it for him? If you answer yes to these questions, then your boyfriend feels entitled which isn't really a good thing, still I see no big deal in helping my man with his laundry when I want or if he politely asks.

E be like say two of una dey do power tussle sha and him wan tell you say "I'm the boss" and you kwa wan tell am say "I'm the boss of me", a relationship doesn't have to go that way, plus, you don't have to have that ring before you treat your man right.
dear nothing like power tussel, although ve donr hes laundry like twice, washing is the house i dislike

mutter:
In a serious committed relationship you should have taken his laundry and done it even without him having to ask you to do it.
What do you think marriage is all about?
- free maid and slave for husband and children.
-24 hours job, no leave no pay. cheesy

You don`t enter into a marriage and then suddenly start washing the cloths because of the ring.
If you love him you can do it with the joy of doing something for him.
u said marriage @ least, but this jst friendship na, moreover does it now mean that if i dont do hes laundary i dont love him enough?

You should never do anything that you are not comfortable with.

There is no right or wrong in this, to each their own but you should only do what feels right, if it feels wrong, then it is wrong.
wow that a strong one, tnx

Good day nairalanders, pls there's some thing i noticed pertaining children born out of wedlock, i observed that most of them tend to be a "female" child, why is that so? And am i the only one who has ever noticed this? Pls your contributions, thought and opinion are highly welcome and needed.
