Yields:
Those are good ingredients. Acne stems from the inside, so it would be more effective to eat those things (especially the ginger and lime) rather than using them as a spot treatment. Squeeze the lime in a glass of water then cut up a piece of ginger and drink. If you've acne-prone skin, always think about "prevention". Watch what you eat; certain foods like diary products can aggravate it. Stay away from overly-greasy, salty and sugary foods. Decrease stress. Drink lots of water. Change your pillowcases often. Dermatologists can help with by giving you prescriptions, but most of the time band-aid remedies don't last. You've to get to the root cause, which's figuring out why inflammation's happening in your body.
ok tnx, guess i'll try out the drinking aspect.

From a sister to a sister, go see a dermatologist; simple.

Visit the nearest general hospital or university teaching hospital where derma units exist. The dermatologist will prescribe the appropriate medication for you to use. cool
tnx ma

Family / Pls How Effective Is This??? by Ogoanita(f): 5:24pm On Feb 09, 2015
Hi Nairalanders. A lady once said somthing on how to remove pimples and spot from the face just that i dont really know how effective it is and am as well a bit scared to avoid stories that touches..,... Here it goes. Said i should get honey, fresh ginger and lime and am to blend the fresh ginger into the honey, then am to scrub my face on the lime, hence it will serve as a cleanser after which i will now massage the honey on my face. Hmmm pls i belive some one may have tried it out. I will appreciate it more if someone can tell me more, how effective and it side effect as well, tnx

Go online and look for crafts to do. I went to speak to those Basket weavers at Mende, they can charge N20,000 for a year of study. Imagine selling your handwork for N3,500 upwards, you can even supply decor companies and do new designs and styles.
wow sounds cool,

Too many people are doing all of that. With more saturation, prices fall. The truth is that when people want to spend their hard-earned money, they would rather go to a pro (Cakes n Cream instead of that chick in your office who bakes, BMPro instead of that girl down the street who does makeup on the weekend, a good tailor/design house after one has been disappointed by the N2,000 tailor in your area, etc).

Which one interests you the most? Like which 2 can you see yourself talking about for an hour?

My sister loved sewing, but couldn't see herself making clothes (the whole Nigeria was doing it and not particularly well). So she started sewing curtains. The difference between her and others is that she has excellent taste and keeps herself well-informed, so you're getting above the regular Naija stuff (she can look at your room, discuss furnishing and lighting and recommend a window treatment, send you images of ideas, swatches and suggestion of fabrics). She's doing well, she has students and teaches a class at the local community college near here. The Dining table linen she sewed and embroidered for us, everyone assumed we went to a shop to buy it. If I compare her to the guy who did my curtains (whom I had to go to market and suggest fabric, choose my fabric, all he did was come and measure my window, he couldn't advise what colours to go for), I know whom I will pay another time to do my curtains.

So figure out what interests you and go for it AND DO IT WELL, BETTER THAN OTHERS. I'm a crafter and an artist myself and now that I'm swinging into a new phase of my life, I'm planning on doing more.
dear as if you are right in my mind, am looking for that craft that is unique you know, not something that every body is doing, tnx for your opinion, i got a nice idea from that

It all boils down to your interest, what might be best to you might not be best to another. So your choice counts

The OP is simply an embarrassment! You love a man enough to open your heart and legs for him but you can't wash his clothes! Are you nuts? Are you not supposed to be there for him? I hope you don't mind when he declines to do anything for you too. These silly Nairaland feminists sef! Many of you wash clothes for your Lesbian partners but you cone here to discourage her from doing domestic chores for her man. Hypocrites everywhere!
you can make your comment or better still air your views without been so insultive and childish

Then he has issues with selective 'westernization'. What prompted the issue of you washing alone since you both wash together?

How far are you gone in the relationship?

Is he the type of man who believes a husband should not do chores? Notice I said husband meaning what he does now is irrelevant.
Expecting your answers.
anyways Hes lovely and Good in every aspect, i do stock up hes fridge with different meals and hes always there to help me with one thing or the other, sometimes i wonder if hes helping me out jst cos of we are still dating and all, you know the say pple true character manifest it self in marriage, and this the first time we washed together although ve washes the whole of hes cloth all alone unaided, hes good jst that i notice hes a bit rigid when it comes to this washin cloth aspect, Hes really Kinf hearted

Let me ask you a question, Is your boyfriend obligated to take care of your expenses? Or let me put it this way - Is it his duty to make sure your financial needs are met? - Please don't wash his clothes, it's not your duty but don't ask him for money or gifts too because it is not his duty! If you contradict this then you are the problem in that relationship - you are not his washing machine and also he is not your father!!!
Until people begin to realize that relationship is finding a balance between responsibilities and prerogatives, then it's better you remain single!!! Remember we marry the values we see in people..sex and love will fade but values won't!
am a student, i pay my bills in school and i work as well, so nobody is playing a "daughter or father" role here
