its a 2004 model lexus es330. The car is very durable with low fuel consumption even with a 3.3L engine. The cost to get it to Nigeria varies depending on its mileage and neatness. A high miled car with salvage title cost less than low miled clean titled vehicle. But its between 1.7m to about 2m or 2.1m to get it to nigeria for an es330. Its so efficient that you can drive it for 2 years without visiting the mechanic workshop except for oil replacement.

As an architect with about 8 year experience and about 5 years post graduation experience(yes, I started practicing in school), I can tell you that it isn't enough to create structural designs. Infact, it will be erroneous to create structural drawings and then become wholly dependent on those drawings while on site.

Apparently, incompetent supervision is responsible for this catastrophe.

Tell me about it. I camped there in 2015. Its indeed terrible. No water, no toilet, prefabricated hostels with leaking roofs, terrible spring beds, horde of flies, dirty environment and poor camp food. Its a temporary structure but could be better. But I met really nice people in Paiko.

In all, a state of emergency must be declared in the Nigerian Army and in Borno State. Even countries with advanced technologies, spies and intels struggle with terrorism not to talk of a country where its military chiefs are highly partisan and surprisingly fanatical. You will be surprised to know that most of these killed soldiers are just mediocrely trained men who are handed guns and paid very paltry salaries.

As I speak to you, the Nigerian Army is a mere cash cow with a highly incompetent head. A military base is supposed to be a safe haven and thus quite suicidal to attack/invade. But right there in Borno, where security is on red alert, 53 soldiers (according to reports, its usually more) were killed and trust me, they will never get their full benefits.

This same BAMA was declared free of insurgency and its roads were opened. This same government declared Boko Haram technically defeated. This same government has been very lazy, slow and parochial in their handling of these insurgents.

Elections are coming, vote with your conscience please.

If I were contesting for presidency next year, I will have three main goals
- Fix Power within 4 years (it must work even if heads have to roll)
- Fix all major roads within 4 years.
- Fix the education section within 4 years.

Honestly, this Buratai has to be the most incompetent service chief Nigeria has had in a while now. Why he is still serving is a surprise. In saner climes, he would have long been replaced. Under his watch, the Nigerian Army has become very rich and also an haven of corruption.
