When APC introduced the Npower scheme I strongly believed they are the Angel Nigerians had long waited for.
To add more qualification to my growing I.T career I considerably disregarded the Npower teach and opted in for the Npower Knowledge programme, I was very happy and felt Nigeria is in for good leadership. Even when the program was faced with delay during the registration stage, I did not want to believe it was a joke as the registration was taking almost 3months, after then, the Test followed.
I don't even want to type long torey here..
The thing is that after the Test..with the high expectation of over 500k registered volunteers they stylishly selected 200k and u are I know that luck is not smiling on all of them as majority are watching their usual story in LCD tv over their stipend.
It is almost 5 months since I took the NKnowledge test, yet no show. Nothing kill a nice Idea than a delayed implementation and this government has chosen that path.
I was never a supporter of APC, but I became a fan of Buhari the very moment he introduced Npower, I have no other reason to support APC if not for the Npower program, not even their tactical fight against corruption. . Now Npower is becoming a joke, I lost two opportunities from private Firms waiting for Npower.
Why is this government like this?

I am not surprised, People that have no knowledge of Samsung galaxyNote, esp note 3 or higher, hype this cheap scraps of a phone.

I just finished reading this news in shame. I weep for My state. Na only cultism matter we sabi carry for head, mention gang/cult war and watch Enugu youths demonstrate their killing skills on their fellow. Now way e don't set.

When we were in the Secondary school there's this boy that was always ahead of everyone in class results, my friends and I hated him. We were very intelligent too. To make sure he did not take all the glories from the teachers all to himself, we became even more studious with our studies, But in the end of the term he still comes first. We put all the effort we had in our studies, yet he stayed ahead of us. He was industrious, Hard working and even looked healthier than every of us, unlike us, he doesn't rely on the teacher before he could get over certain topics.
We became so jealous of the boy that we started to oppress him. we set him up with crimes, told lies about him and bullied him. We made him look like the enemy where as we are the crook. People in other schools were very proud of him, so we tagged him with exam malpractice in social media platforms, we thought we had almost killed his reputation.
"Soon everybody including the teachers and people from other schools would stop having trust in him", we had quietly considered. We even turned his blossom friends against him, they stopped reading together in group, yet it did not change anything.
He had led my school to Glory in several inter school Quiz, thereby preventing us the opportunity of showing people that we are capable of doing more, even when it is obvious we could not excel in an ordinary Class test which the school organizes before the quiz.
When the boy could not stand our pressure, he threatened to leave my School, we flooded the principal's office with Letters begging her to not let him leave our school, our final exam was around the corner we knew we could need a sharp brain like his in other to succeed in the final Secondary School exam.
One day, I decided to repent, therefore I asked myself the following questions: why do I want to see this boy down on the floor? why do I not want to see his liberation? what are his crimes that I want him dead? The answer was simple..IT IS BECAUSE HE IS BETTER THAN MY FRIENDS AND I.
It was hard for us to get over envy on the people that are better than us. The hating game continued. Till today we still harbor hatred for this brilliant boy.

That Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa have 1 or 2 Igbo villages that don't even constitute a local government area, doesn't make the insignificant Igbo size there translate to a majority in the general South South population.

That there are Yoruba villages in Edo and Delta, in addition to the Itshekiris in both states, doesn't make the Yorubas majority in the SS.

As for the SS / NigerDelta, in the event that Nigeria has to split, you will do well to exorcise any Igbo village out of your new country to prevent Igbo encroachment into your territory. They are good at being humble like beggars when they come cap in hand, but once they think they have an advantage, their true character blossoms.
You do not need them for anything, they can only be a nuisance that nullifies whatever gains you made by exiting Nigeria.
