I pray the political and economic will to deliver these lofty projects don't fade away. Where can I see this please, hope isn't a way to loot money |

Omoh, na so all of them dey take talk sha.. the truth is that must of of leaders are lazy and lack innovative and intelligent ideas to develop their states.. we seriously need investment and investors in mining, Agriculture, oil and gas if we want enugu to develop. The minerals are already there but we lack the goodwill to extract and mine them and earn FX from it. Does he have any plans for coal in Enugu especially for power generation? |

omonnakoda: You are contradicting yourself trying to sound knowledge able
I said two thing s Chairman is non executive Represents major shareholder
What is your point? Be explicit?
Using two monikers won't distract me
The issue is this is a publicly traded company It is not a private company My point is that I can have the highest share in a company that I foundes and still not be the chairman of the company. Being a chairman of a company comes with lots of things including many years of experiences. A chairman is elected by the board of directors of a company to oversee the company and tomorrow he might still be sacked. Being a chairman of a company doesn't mean that you are the owner of the company. |

omonnakoda: Just be quiet and stop talking rubbish The chairman represents major shareholder in a governance role. Without executive function. They are not peers
You have just come here to advertise your vacuity Not in all cases does the chairman remains the one with the highest share holder. You need to read more |
Politics › Re: E Transact Is An Igboman's Company by oilykid(m): 3:15pm On Mar 30, 2023 |
MXrep: Chairman and CEO are peers with other directors not superior. They are elected by the board of directors to run the company My company in Lagos is owned by an igbo man while a Yoruba man is the MD. The igbo is the current chairman and I'm sure that he owns the highest shares in the company. Tomorrow, now he might want to retire and take a break, a new chairman will now be appointed to oversee the company. It doesn't change the fact that he was the one he founded the company. |

omonnakoda: The company is as publicly traded , on the stock exchange It is not Obi's company But he is the founder and I'm sure he might still own the highest shares in the company. |
Politics › Re: E Transact Is An Igboman's Company by oilykid(m): 3:08pm On Mar 30, 2023 |
omonnakoda: Yoruba took over the company long ago after Obi left in disgrace You are not smart, board of directors of a plc companies changes everytime. It's a common knowledge. It doesn't stop the fact that an igbo started and nurtured the company. Facebook, Microsoft etc were founded by someone, the body of directors are different from the founders. Try and read more . Tomorrow, another set of directors will be appointed by the company. |

Not bad but they should make provision for sideways, covered drainages and under ground cables.. let's start doing this simple things that you find even in other poor African countries. Also trees and flowers should be planted. SE should start rising above mediocre.
What of about the neimeth new production factory in Awka. Any updates on that ? |

RareDiamond: It appears the needed infrastructures would be put in place this year by God grace. I say this because the sum of NGN40 billion was budgeted in the IMSG 2023 budget for Oguta Lake Wharf/Seaport, while NGN36.88 billion was budgeted for 20,000 barrels per day refinery. Don't forget that the Special Agro Processing Zone have proposed sites in Oguta. The completion of Sam Mbakwe Cargo Terminal got NGN7 billion.
I pray these impressive projects are fully completed quickly. Nice.. these are the type of infrastructures our governors should be engaging in not building small roads and inviting people to commission with fanfare. All our water fronts needs to be developed. Agriculture, mining and oil gas should be focused on if we are serious in the east. Those things can make east the most developed region in WA. I hope Enugu state governor brings in his experience too to move Enugu forward. Ipob needs to step back and let's develop the east. With development comes with what you can force Nigerians to negotiate with you and do your biddings. SW have Lagos and they can use it to force Nigeria government to do their bidding too. |
