Goldensword: I don't think there's even any major projects ongoing now in Enugu metropolis apart from the street road constructions, the water project seems abandoned now. There is tho. Enugu international wing and cargo section is currently on going ICC is currently being completed Smart schools and primary health care centers are currently being built Enugu modern security control center is on going Road constructions are currently on going in the new enugu city Heard that Sugimoto wants to build a rice farm estate and cement factory. Don't know how serious they are. Then, enugu logistics hubs and modern bus terminals, I don't know the status of the projects. Those are the ones I know of |

Digitron: Mbah trusted an Austrian who did a poor job in estimating the amount of work to be done.
The challenge with Enugu water problem is a huge one that will take about 30 months from now to get water to all parts of Enugu.
Currently, the production part has been solved (We are producing about 2 million litres of water daily).
The challenge now is distribution. Transmitting water from 9th mile to all parts of Enugu will involve changing most pipes and pumps which is expensive and time consuming but we will get it done Any update on any major project currently in enugu.. |

Ezewuzie01: I left Enugu because of their water crisis. I could no longer stand the Shylock water truckers who are allowed to set prices as they like. They have a union and their aim is to exploit the water crisis for maximum benefit. Enugu people spend at least 30% of their salaries and wages buying water. It is unsustainable. I think that in the interim, the Enugu state govt should subsidize water that these tankers are selling. It is a shame that a whole former eastern region, east central, old Anambra and current Enugu state capital for so many years don't have water. What do you think about the idea of govt subsidizing water in Enugu? Cc Lovealaigbo Christejames Oilykid Objectivist04 Digitron Abagworo Water issue is currently being tackled in enugu, massive pipes are being laid every where. Chikeluba25: TRENDING OCHANJA ROAD: FACTS NOT FICTION
After an on-the-spot visit to the trending Ochanja road to ascertain the veracity of the viral video, the following facts are hereby presented:
-- That the video did not capture the actual portion of the road, which is less than two (2) feet.
-- That the road in question is an active construction site, and work is seriously ongoing, even as of yesterday, Monday, March 25, 2024.
-- The portion of Ochanja Road was asphalted yesterday and couldn't cure and stabilize properly before the downpour.
-- That the cause of the heavy water body that affected the less than 2 feet of the asphalted portion was a silted drainage.
-- The stone base alone on that portion of the road, and indeed the long stretch of the entire road is solid and very much intact.
-- The creator of the video grossly exaggerated the situation by showing portions of a different road that is not under construction.
-- That the ongoing road has not been completed and commissioned by the government of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR.
-- That only the Port Harcourt Road and Niger Street Road have been commissioned by Governor Soludo in Onitsha South LGA, and they are very firm and solid.
-- The story is, at best, a deliberate distortion and overbloating of reality by mischief makers. Anambra deserves better than this rubbish road constructions going in the state. Look at the qualifying of road that a governor is constructing for its citizens. A road that looks like it won't last beyond one year. |

Jessyjeff: There is no where called Trans - Ekulu road in Enugu. The road you people here call Trans - Ekulu road is actually from Parklane/ShopRite Roundabout, Nwodo Street ( GRA) , linking Ekulu Bridge/ Billante Flyover to Damija Junction( Trans- Ekulu side). What the company awarded the contract has done are provision of Sidewalks and scrapping of the damaged Asphalt top layer. Finally, the company will provide fresh smooth binding top layer of Asphalt on the road. That road is about 750 metres long, with about 70% located in GRA part of Coal City. Unu aghotago? AsomughaChuks05: . It is coming up fine. It will be completed last quarter of 2024 or first quarter of 2025. Two more pharmaceutical companies are also building factories in other parts of the state. Anambra is the most sought after destination for investments now. The days of Enugu are gone. I have been watching Afia TV on DSTV for sometime now and noticed that they hardly get adverts. Their marketers have to go and beg petty traders at Ogbete and New Haven markets to patronize them for paltry sum of 1k to get advert slots on their TV. That's how dry Enugu is but Anambra is definitely booming industrially. Good that companies are coming up in anambra, as for your other of talks , they are irrelevant and a stupid take. Hope this is not another chino's handler |

Objectivist04: Another thing that baffles me about Mba is that each road he is reconstructing, he will make sure he reduces the width instead of expanding it. .quite pathetic They are doing so to have money to embezzle, they don't think about future. They forgot that cities are expanding and roads should be constructed more wider. He just gives out contracts to his cronies who uses any how contractors to do rubbish works. Sullivan used Arab contractors and expanded many enugu roads, mbah is using contracts to settle those who helped him in election rigging. Those people are just using anyhow contractors to carry out the projects. Enugu is doomed |
