I agree with you on our south east leaders but this is a local government chairman, you should endeavor to criticize constructively.
You expect him to cover drainages when even governors are not doing so , again you want him to plant some greenery when houses are on both sides of the roads, so he should be demolishing the houses for greenery abi ? Mind you these are inner roads that he constructed in his home town Eden Nike, he did a neat work , you don't expect him to be sweeping the road , we should try to appreciate someone when he makes an effort

The road leading to the local government headquarter has enough space for beautifcation and the man beautified it with interlocked concrete and trees.

We should not always condemn , his predecessors did absolutely nothing but this guy is working and you are there condemning his efforts. Maybe you should show us the projects done by your own LG Chairman .
I am not from the local government though but when I see good thing I will appreciate because it is not easy under this corrupt system.
What ever worth doing is worth doing well, even in local govt councils, they still constructs road with the standard followed. Cars and humans are not meant to be on the same road, it's dangerous that's why roads are built with sidewalks everywhere, drainges are closed to prevent them from being breeding grounds for mosquitoes and also beautify the environment. People in any level of govt deserves the best too. Being a local govt project is not an excuse for mediocrity, local councils in sane countries adhere to standards of road constructions. We should stop giving excuses for poor performance of our politicians. Tomorrow he will get to a higher and he will execute projects with same mentality, most of them constructs those nonsense so that they will have enough to embezzle, they budget billions for projects but at the end will do a project worth of millions embezzling the rest.

The one he is constructing from GRA through ekulu bridge to Damija has side walks but very tiny, it will require one person stepping down when face of face with another pedestrian or they rub body.
Mbah really disappointed most of us, I saw him as someone who will have world standard when it comes to project execution. Looks like the LP guy will have more taste than him.

The current Enugu East Local Government Chairman is just two years in office but dude has proven to be a Mr project, the pictures above are just three roads while there are others l did not snap.
He has also completed a football pitch, a kind of mini stadium with carpet grass Nkwo Nike currently he is constructing the road that leads from Nike road to Enugu East Local Government secrietarite with both sides of the road interlocked.
He is building a market at Ugwuogo Nike, infact the man is firing from all sliders.
I will post more of his project when I have time to go out.
If your local government Chairman tells you that the governor doesn't release funds for him no gree with am oo
This roads are eyesore to say the least, look at how dirty the roads are looking with open drainages and no sidewalks. No greenery, this is 2024 and we are still constructing roads like this, when are we expecting to use our sense and do something like humans. Looks like in the next 100 years, we still not be developed at all. Don't these politicians see how things are done in other small African countries, I'm sure that many of then goes on vacation to western countries and they love how things are done there but they can't do quarter of what they see over there. Not even road markings, the coal tars are looking very dirty. Our SE leaders have poor taste when it comes to project executions

Mba is really working, he is operating at Sullivan level ei constructing roads with pedestrian walk ways but with open gutters.

Note that Ugwuanyi took us years back from Sullivan era by constructing roads with no pedestrian walk ways and no street light .

We are looking forward to move above Sullivan era though
most of his roads that I have seen being constructed doesn't look nice at all. No sidewalks and poor drainages

What is Onyeka doing in the team? Any Northerner playing is your problem ignoring the abysmal performance of the eboes in the team.
The team is still dominated by igbos, if not for igbos you would have ended up like your brothers in togo, benin,Benin, and niger republic who hardly qualifies for anything cheesy

All these projects are they ghosts ? No one has ordinary phone in Enugu state to capture all these lies you listed ?

Enugu is a failed state. Most roads in Enugu are substandard. Leadership in Enugu state is failure from chimaroke to Sullivan , gburu gburu and now the election thief there now that has nothing to show except propaganda

Enugu state government should learn from Anambra and Soludo in delivering standard projects.
Chino, take a rest already
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by oilykid(m): 4:50pm On Jan 26, 2024
Lots of constructions are currently going on in enugu simultaneously, smart schools and hospitals are currently being built in some local govts. Work have resumed on the international conference center and bus terminals are about to start being built. Mbah Media team are not doing much in posting some of these things tho

Anambra has the best roads in igboland. Anambra has the widest roads in igboland. Anambra is the most developed state in igboland. So it is very clear why you guys are bitter and envious. Anambra shall continue to be the beacon of development in Igboland . Soludo is the best in igboland
Chino, the apga otimkpu.. this is 2024 and you are still moving like this

He is saying the truth. Roads are not standard. I am yet to see any tangible thing he has done. I was home for Christmas and I didn’t see any new development.

Unfinished substandard projects littered everywhere.
Thank you. They see govt criticisms as hate. Anambra govt needs to do better. From obi down fo soludo, they don't like constructing a world class projects

As useless as Ikpeazu was, he still managed to deliver these two roads in Abia state.
Are we now going to rank Ojionu below Ikpeazu with all these substandard roads he's constructing?
It's a shame that people like Anambra1stSonTV and the other dog are celebrating Mediocrity.
Seriously, anambra needs to step up in their project executions. Even Ebonyi with the lowest FG allocation constructs better road than anambra
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by oilykid(m): 7:15am On Jan 25, 2024
Soludo's work are nothing but below standard. Anambra deserved better. I think Anambra govt needs to involve Dave Umahi on how to construct roads. I'm ashamed of the type of road that is being constructed here. Narrow roads even in major town that are low quality. Apga needs to leave Anambra

Do you even know the meaning of commerce? You think your 2 by 2 shop is commerce?
You really need to be educated,so you can stop fooling yourself.
You are not smart, maybe you should have told us what commerce is since you are the only one that knows the meaning. The 2x2 shop you are ridiculing steal maintains the biggest market in WA that have traders all over west Africa coming in to buy their goods from the onitsha market

Why not Ogun state? After all, there are more commerce in Ogun than Anambra and Kano combined.
onitsha houses the Largest market in west Africa. Onitsha is the headquarters of commerce in West Africa

Ok..I'm not base in enugu though.. I was just asking a question. It's like 2 years since I came to enugu

I also hear this "a lot is happening under Mbah". But why isn't anyone posting these "roads" that Mbah is doing?

At least we see daily the fantastic works of Gov. Otti in Aba and Umuahia. We see Soludo's exploits in Onitsha and Awka. Even Nwifuru's roads in Abakaliki and the total reconstruction of the Okadigbo International Airport runway Abakaliki are there for the public to see.

I'm just wondering why we hear so much rumors that Mbah is doing major roads reconstructions in Enugu, but never see any pictural evidence of these projects anywhere. Even in this thread!
If you go through the thread, you will see where someone stated that alot is happening, like someone said here maybe he doesn't have enough people for media publicity unlike in the case of abia state

Very funny. In what areas? While I was coming back from villa last week, around Nowas people were complaining that too many construction is going on and traffic is getting too much because of them. I can also almost swear security has gotten far better than before he came in. Water pipes are being laid in my area, and I saw modernised waste management bins around new market, I don't go out often so I don't know if this has gotten to more places. I can definitely see impacts. Are you talking economy-wise? A lot of things still has to be done sha but I believe too many people see only constructions as a sign of work. Just yesterday it was announced that a local government staff verification would go on - anybody knows something like this is a mechanism to eliminate ghost workers. Few months after he came on he streamlined tax collection, I was surprised to see my keke driver paying tax via an agent with a mobile app rather than to touts.

Still, Enugu state requires a lot of road construction and I believe we'll see a lot of it this year.
Ok man.. just that there are no pictures of his projects yet
