Treasury bills is all about lending money to the government on a short term basis. It has 3 maturity period, 91 days, 182 days and 364 days. The higher the tenure the higher the rate.
Whichever tenure you choose, the rate of interest is calculated annually and prorated.
You can starr by going to your bank and telling the customer care that you want to invest in treasury bills., although some banks will not accept your 100k cos it might be too low.
I think first bank accepts 100k though.
Then.........

My own personal thoughts, 100k might not give you an average of more than 1300 monthly...
I advice you could do it once, to know what it feels like and how much you like it, and if you are still young, taking more daring risk could be worthwhile.
You can also compare regular treasury bills with mutual Funds, i have a thread that explains mutual funds, check the topic i created.
Cheers

am also a novice.. would love to know more about the whole stuff... is gtb\access bank good for it? tnx

Governor Abubakar today charged Corps members in Bauchi state to be Change Agents. The Governor who spoke during the end of the 2016 batch B orientation camp and passing out parade at Wailo, said that the NYSC is a laudable scheme that not only strengthens the nation, but allows the county tap into the intellect and energy of the younger generation.

An extraordinary platoon leader was the center of attraction at the Passing Out Parade as he excited the governor and other dignitaries. The platoon leader later won a gift from the governor...
