Romance / Re: Real Experience But Weird by Ojb194616: 11:02am On Feb 07, 2021 |
Had little experience like that. It was with my perfume. I looked for it everywhere in my room, checked my table , checked everywhere. Lo and behold after some minutes of searching I saw it on the table I checked several times, not placed under something...but on the tip of the table. I took it as something strange but normal anyway. But i know something happened that day. |

Uncle93: Good question.. The one I disvirgined glued with me and was scared of me messing up. Lets hear from others, someone out there might have had a pretty fcked up experience with an angel they turned into a hoe. My experience was different anyways. She broke up knowing we can't be. Not my fault, but her family. But still call me frequently. I hardly pick anyways |
Romance / Have The Girl You Dis-flower Ever Disappointed You? by Ojb194616: 10:47am On Feb 07, 2021 |
So recently, guys has been on the notion that if you want peace or someone to truly love you genuinely for the rest of your life, you should marry a virgin. Truly speaking there are lot of benefits attached when u meet a good woman. So my question is probably for those that married their wifes a virgin or truly loved and believed their virgin girlfriend would be faithful.
I just want to know how the relationship ended with a girl you disvirgined or how its going. |

Politics / Re: Ajaokuta Is 90 Percent Complete, May Be Functional Early 2023 – Minister by Ojb194616: 7:14pm On Aug 18, 2020 |
omohayek: The stubborn insistence on continuing to throw money at white elephants like Ajaokuta and the NNPC refineries is all the proof one needs that most Nigerian leaders have absolutely no understanding of basic economics: some projects are simply not worth spending more effort on, no matter how much time and effort one might already have spent on them, and to continue regardless is to fall victim to the sunk cost fallacy.
Even if Ajaokuta were to be magically completed tomorrow, it will never ever make a profit. The Soviet-era technology in it was already obsolete back in 1983 when Shagari was boasting about its impending completion, and since then Chinese steelmakers have been driving even the biggest and most advanced American and European steelmakers into bankruptcy, even before the COVID-19 crisis killed demand for steel. Under such circumstances, there is more likelihood of a random Nigerian jumping in the air and touching the moon than there is of this ridiculous money-pit ever justifying spending even one more dollar on it. The money would be better spent on improving primary and secondary education, so that more Nigerians would have the requisite knowledge to see announcements like this one for the follies they are. So u prefer going to school and graduating to do nothing? What we need now is infrastructure.. That can accommodate graduates.. Fixing the steel plants won't stop the government from improving in education. |

Exmilitant: our languages going extinct. Intertribal or no intertribal.. Our language seem to be fading away. Every body wants to be in big cities. Children no longer interested in speaking languages anymore. Some parents even tell children not to speak. So its not my case that would be the first. Las Las, 2 Likes |

Just give some time like 12 to 24 months. I guess her parents are overriding her because of age. Over time, she will either get pissed and snub them or succumb to their pressure and let you move on. No sacrifice is too much for the one we love. Just be patient and supportive. But with a clear mandate. She will be 26 soon. |

Please I really do need matured advice on what to do. I have been with my girl for over two years now. So far, I would say its been going really smoothly, she's the best and I really love her.
But the issue now is, her parents are not in support of us. It has really been a thug of war between her and her parents. The parents are not even ready to set their eyes on me. I really wish they give me a chance to say something. The most confusing part right now is, my girl has refused to let go. My parents are in support of us. My mum love her much. But our hands are tired because we can't do anything to change their mind or see them to avoid embarrassment as they insist she must marry her tribal person.
I really don't know what to do at this point. I really wish I could confidently say I could give up on her.. But truth is, I can't as I really do care about her. She's Edo and am Yoruba. |
