We thank God for their lives...The driver is equally wicked, when he observed that the brake could not catch up, he swerved the front passengers side to hit the mini truck. Sitting directly at the back of drivers could be the best in most cases. |
OboOlora:Yes ooo,99.9 % of us dont understand English. We are proud of it.hence our government have designed a service to help us. |
Very good way to go. Other countries in different continents cannot be celebrating our rich language and we will now be ignoring it...its been interpreted in foreign English language. So if you dont understand Yoruba, you should atleast understand foriegn English language. |

The story of the fake officers of Lagos state waste basket management, that their video went viral, extorting the members of the public on the mandatory use of Lagos state waste basket by commercial and private buses. What has Lagos government done about it? Any arrest? Has it been swept under the the carpet?

Thank you for choosing to drive and earn with Bolt. As you may have heard in the news, the Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Transport recently provided a detailed list of requirements for ride-hailing companies and drivers to meet in order to continue operating in Lagos. Our team has continued ongoing engagement with the regulators on behalf of drivers to ensure that the final rules are not disruptive to your ability to continue to earn with your car. We continue to pursue these discussions to gain further clarity on the revised requirements and ensure that all drivers can easily obtain all additional documents now required to drive and earn in Lagos. Further information on this process will be communicated in the near future. While Bolt will be responsible for the licensing fees and other financial commitments to the State Government under these new regulations, these additional documents will now be required to drive with Bolt or any other ride-hailing company in Lagos: New Additional Driver Documents Lagos State Drivers' Institute Driver's Recertification Card (LASDRI Card) - ₦2,000 Driver Badge issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services - ₦4,000 Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRRA) Card at no cost. Lagos State: Each Uber driver in Lagos State to pay N110,000 for Operational Permit opera.comFeb 13, 2020 8:15 AM The Code of Conduct Bereau explained some facts about the Operational license( provisional license) the Lagos State requests for. In 2016, UBER/BOLT and Lagos STATE entered into an agreement as regards the Operational License, which stated that every vehicle that would operate on their platforms would pay 110k to operate. The operational license was meant to have been sorted out by Uber and Taxify (Bolt). But Bolt paid 5 million naira just 50 Operational license for its platform, while its said that Uber didn’t pay anything. The Lagos State did the own part to lure them to honor the agreement which the E-hailing company didn’t respond to. The new Lagos State administration is now asking for the payment and since they are not willing to pay, any vehicle used in operation with Uber/Bolt with out the operational license will be clamped down until the fee of N110,000 is paid by the owner of the car before using the Lagos State roads again It clearly shows that many Uber/Bolt drivers are operating in Lagos State Illegally. The operational license the Lagos State Government instructed them to pay is for life when paid. Besides the Operational License, other documents are also required to be fully legal before using the Lagos State roads before you can make money from the E-Hailing business, LADSRI, Hackney permit, Road Worthiness and Car hire permit. One of the Uber/Bolt driver got clamped and had to pay before he was let go. what do you think about the Operational License payments? Would should really take the responsibility? https://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/806b769fab71999a6f975406260f081b?client=news |
