If I may ask, since when have you started investing?

** Anyway, you see this dividend issue, from my Newbie's perspective and what I've learnt, it highly depends on availability of fund/cash flow, the type of investor you chooses to be and the strategy you employ in dealing with such situation.
** Market situation is also a determinant.
** One thing I've noticed that's common with majority investors is impatience and fear. We want everything moving quick quick, doesn't work like that most of the time.

1. Long/medium termers don't enter market or stocks anyhow........they carry out their Due Diligence on particular stock (or pick due to reliable recommendation and wait patiently for the dip before jumping on the bus.
See Nahco for instance, some loaded it at around N2/2.50. Do you think those ones will agree with you that Dividend is scam even after markdown for bonus and Dividend?

2. For short termers, if you have enough fund you can buy within short period, qualify for Dividend and dispose off the stock within short period. How?? By averaging down when it bottoms after markdown and sell shortly. Nahco still a case study.

3. Note that some stocks are seasonal, if you buy these ones, you'll need a drug load of patience to wait for it..... they're not very liquid but can deliver with right entry and patience.
McNichols for instance required spare fund and enough patience to wait for it. Some people picked @60k+ and later sold @2+.

E get one illiquid penny stock wey I don dey folow for quite sometimes self, the recent sell off sent it below N1, but due to its seasonal nature, I cannot mention it.

If I was using a 30amp charge controller, I'd be using about 380watt panel for a 200ah battery.
But with a 50amp charge controller and 200ah battery, will the panel still be 380watt ?

If I use 600watt panel which is the maximum allowable input, will the mppt charger be able to limit the current going to the battery and if I use a 380watt panel with the 50amp charge controller, will it charge the battery at the same rate a 30amp cc will ?

Get the max PV possible, your 600w panel won't always generate 600w.....you can then set your mppt controller to charge at 30A

I know the battery must come from the same manufacturer and must also be the same amps.

Don't mix them else you turn the new to old especially if it's in series setup

This is a forum for matured minds to exchange ideas ,but some people take it has a personal war.

I will say it again again, lithium is the new baby in town. If you have the money no problem.

Then there are alternatives apart from lithium
Which don't cost an arm and a leg lead acid.

I am not a salesman , but an enduser that started solar journey through this forum.

Has long has my lead acid batteries are in service , if anyone ask a question about lead acid I will answer the person.

So if it angers you to hear about, lead acid feel free to touch a bursbar. ....

Those who talked about lithium are also users(end or middle or high ), I still bought lead acid last month for setup somewhere but do not take it personal when people state the obvious superiority of lithium over lead acid.....

This thread is here to state our experiences and advice but ultimate decision rest with individual so tagging everyone that prefers lithium over lead acid as marketer or seller could mislead users.
That said, I actually wish actual marketers on this thread actually share their experience when people ask questions

You didn't provide voc of the panel but a 300w should be around 38/40v 3s4p is your best option
