Sports / Which Of This Record Do You Think Will Be The Hardest To Break In The Long Run? by Ojim07(m): 9:35am On May 22
We all love celebrating incredible feats in sports, but some records seem to exist in a league of their own. Which of this record do you think will be the hardest to break in the long run?

1. Zidane's Treble: Leading a team to win the Champion's League (Europe's most prestigious club competition) three years in a row

2. Alonso's Invincibility: Guiding a team through an entire season undefeated across all competitions

3. Pep's Quadruple: Winning the Premiership (England's top league) four consecutive times

The sample data is extremely too small to say this a reflection of a population. How can you use just a little over 300 sample data point to infer about a population of over 100 millions.

grin konji don finish this one.. But wait o, so Lagos has sex offenders register? If yes, where can I check it? It's not supposed to be a secret.

In America, sex offenders register is a public platform where you can easily Google a person's name and you'll know if their name is there or not. In the US, if your name mistakenly enter that register your own don finish. It's a book of death. You can never get a decent job in your life. In fact to get a wife na die.

Openness of data is one of data ethical consideration in most advance countries. Policies such as this can help show government transparency towards the citizens and the citizen as well can equally be enlighten with such datasets

Nice insight. Judging from the features(variables) utilize such as (Food(quality and affordability), culture, nightlife, how the city makes people feel, strong community vibes, access to green space, historic sites, and much more) I can help but agree with them.

It's important to note that another organization may conduct a similar survey using different variables, which could result in Lagos dropping in position.

Common sense says it isn't legal. Apart from the civil service regulations, rational thinking dictates that such amount of money should be dispensed from a government account for transparency and accountability.

We are not surprised by the kind of people appointed as Ministers, most of whom are mistresses, party hangers on and miscreants.

I still respect Obj till tomorrow. Dude was not sentimental, went for only the best of the best, unfortunately we took that Obj regime for granted. Every other president has been worse off than his predecessor.

You people should stop eulogizing the Obj's administration. He was no different in terms of accountability and governance.

His luck was that, the social media space was almost non-existent in his time and a lot of Nigerians were not so concerned about governance back then.

If we have had the level of awareness and social exposure we have today during his time, you won't be here saying this.

Nigerians as a country has been sooo unlucky with good leaders. It is a shameful thing that a country of over a 100million people can't produce just one good leader that can change the status quo.

No tech field is really easy, if you truly desire to know it in-depth. One thing the Op should should remove his mind from first all of all, is "Money". Let's him settle on something he likes(passion).

Almost all tech Industry isn't friendly to starters right now in terms of job, except you have bn in the field for quite sometime with substantial experience.

While learning anything new, he should ensure to hold on to his graphic work....

The boards in most business sphere are mostly concern about Money . It's always about money. They care less about the innovations

Take for instance, at a time, the board of Facebook almost forced mike to sell Facebook to yahoo back then. Luckily for Mike, the deal didn't go through

"Contracting HIV is not as easy as people make it seem. I came across a YouTube video at one point where a woman conducted a survey on a group of 800 women who had the virus for more than 8 months without knowing. Surprisingly, none of their partners contracted it despite engaging in unprotected sex constantly during this period."

It's the usage of the bvas that basically reduced the votes because even with card readers we still have incident forms in 2019

You are very correct as well.

But Merely looking at the 2023 elections. Can one say the turn out was massive?

Because, for a country with over 120 million people as always speculated.

I think the turn out just did measure up..

Due to the introduction of technology. Remember that in 2019 we can hardly know the numbers of accredited voters, but in 2023 we can know by checking BVAS. This alone reduce rigging coming from some parts of the country.
Imagine Rivers and delta dishing out almost 2 million votes each for PDP in the past. And last election nothing like that.

That's a very valid point.
The results from 2011&2015 were something else, huge figures everywhere.

BVAS can be said to be a game changer then. My only problem with this device is the inability to easily/smoothly transmit the results by PO due to network issues.

If this can be address, the electoral will be more transparent I think

It's basically due to the deployment of technology

Imagine Abia turned in close to 1M votes for PDP in 2011 and since 2015 it has dropped to below 500k

Very True. Was surprised to see states like abia and Anambra turning over a million vote in 2011.

Such figure, didn't really make me put much attention on 2011.

I'm Particularly concern about 2019& 2023. Despite the agitation for a new Nigeria, the 2023 total votes couldn't still major up to 2019.

Could it still be as result of technology or Nigerians just didn't turn out as expected

Politics / The 2011-2023 Nigerian Presidential Elections: A Comparative Analysis by Ojim07(m): 5:01pm On May 26, 2023
The inauguration of the new president is just a few days away. So I decided to conduct a simple comparative data analysis on the presidential election from 2011-2023 (2011, 2015, 2019, & 2023).

The objective was to examine the total votes cast in various years, the total votes (summation) from different regions of Nigeria, and finally, the total Votes (summation) from each state within each region.

The outcomes are displayed below.

Key Question: What is the reason for the significant drop in the number of voters generally over the years (Pic 1)?
