Secessionist movement are not always ragtags and outlaws like ipob, for example there are separatist political parties in Scotland,Northern Ireland,Catalonia Spain etc...who are the ruling parties in their regional government these are legitimate elected leadership of the people who have the mandate from the people to champion independent struggle for them. The problem with you is that you are comparing banditry and militancy with separatism. While one was fighting for a better treatment or recongnition from federal government the other is fighting for distintegration of Nigeria. How are they the same?
