Yes of course Putin wants the war to end like yesterday but at his own terms not at the terms and conditions of US led NATO nations.
Many European countries that sanctioned Russia are suffering due to the unfair sanction they placed on Russia,Germany is a good example they could not find a better replacement for Russia Gas that powers their industries.

Russia initial military plans was for a regime change in Kiev and when that failed they withdrew their troops and decided on plan B which is to conquer and occupy Eastern Ukraine which is a Russian speaking region and to force Ukraine to abandon the idea of joining NATO and remain neutral.

Once Ukraine agreed to give up the dream of joining NATO and wave good bye to Donbas region the war will come to an end.
No threat of sanctions will make Putin to abandon the objectives of his special military operation(SMO) in Ukraine.

Sanction does not shake Russia anymore the west have slammed them with over 25k sanctions since 2014, I doubt if US still have anything left as deterrent against Russia.Trump better treat Russia with respect that is the only to get good result with President Putin.

Nigeria has an even worse human rights rating than Turkey. So if Finland refused to extradite PPK members to Turkey over NATO memership, why do you think they would extradite Ekpa to Nigeria? Turkey eventually backed down and Finland became the 31st member of NATO in April 2023

Forget Simon Ekpa ever being extradited to Nigeria, Finland is barred from doing so by ECHR

Finland is not Kenya

Whether he is extradited or not Simon Ekpa will remain in prison for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

This man will stay a little longer in jail from the look of things but that would be the beginning of high scale injustice in Nigeria as political figures who are unjustly imprisoned in future will have no one to fight for them.

Even trump and Biden granted clemency to a good number of prisoners but in Nigeria it is the other way round. The APC-led regime has more innocent people in jail than Even the Aguiyi Ironsi government that imprisoned coup plotters.

Ikwerre is an Igbo word meaning 'do you agree?' or 'if you agree'.
