Igbos had always been in power with the Hausas.Even there was a time that Igbos virtually took over the entire civil service.Yes,Yorubas have always been in the opposition while Igbos were in control of almost the entirety of Nigeria with the Hausas.

Yorubas had built an Empire just like Britain,China etc before the advent of the whites.Igbos were still very backward and under the colonisation of Igala,a smaller tribe then.

Yorubas built bridges but Igbos have always destroyed the bridges they built in the 60s,70s etc.
