Lol stood your ground please child. I had you guys shifting and changing arguments because the definition of functional was to hard for a lot if you clowns to grasp. You guys said it wasn't deep enough the depth levels prove you guys wrong, the ports allowed all good in and out, the tariff schedule is same etc.

All of you were saying it's not functional because it not a deep seaport. That's like complaining you Toyota Tacoma is not functional because it doesn't hold same amount of cargo as Toyota Tundra.

I repeat again that you and Jetleeee are illiterates

Now ask yourselves these questions

1) Between Onne and Lagos which is closer to Aba market.?

2) If importing through Onne will make it easier for me to sell my goods cheaper, why will I then stress myself to go to Lagos to import knowing fully well the state of the road and cost.?

3) If I decide to import through Lagos, it means, something is wrong importing through Onne.

If my memory serves me right, Amberon11 once explained to you how his sister who works in NPA discovered the reason of which you can ask him again for it

Are you people this spineless that you can't walk alone? Last I checked, Biafra was an Igbo Ideology but you chose to include the Ijaws, the same Ijaws that have come out to distance themselves from the struggle.

Ojukwu was a war veteran who was grounded and prepared for war. The IPOB that has never had any form of strategic training of a sudden has more sense than Ojukwu? Funny!

I am very sure the IPOB's strategy was to threaten the country and expect a clampdown and in turn, offer the oil they never had to get support. I love this comic relief of yours.

By they way, I am glad you admitted to Ojukwu being greedy. I sure hope that you'll have the nerve to blame him for the death of your people.

Who said Ojukwu is greedy

I said Ojukwu thought all men are noble like him and have good conscience like him that is why he never exchanged oil for freedom because he thought good people around the world will help his people

The US supports different causes for different strategic reasons.
Oil, military presence, religion, aggressive lobbying in congress by interested parties, human rights enforcement, e.t.c.
There are a thousand and one reasons why the US supports different causes.
The US supports the secession of Hong kong and Taiwan from China. And there is no oil there.
Keep killing innocent people, and flout the direction of your masters and you would give the US a reason .
The religious angle and the ever-green biafran history is already a significant advantage to IPOB in western circles.

IPOB strategy is different from that of Ojukwu who refused to give up oil for freedom because he thought all men think as he do and therefore will respect the right of Biafrans to Self Determination

Ojukwu learnt latter that it has more to do with interest than goodwill.

You have to wonder at the intelligence of Nigeria's political establishment.
Omar Bashir has a Russian military base in his country and so has Russian cover of sorts. Even at that he is still finding it very hard to contain the united states.
Nigeria has none. No real allies, no real foes either. A non-aligned state.
So I don't know where the bravado comes from.

I don't support IPOB but I don't see them as the real problem. Nobody with a brain should.

Common sense would dictate that a shitty , third world country with no credible military and no international reach and no real sovereignty would be careful.

Cheap factors production, cheap loans, zero taxes, weak but stable currency, trade agreements.

You see why it is good to see life from different angles

1) Cheap loan: Was YOUWIN not a free loan to innovators and inventors who sought to industrialize their ideas.?

2) Zero taxes: What if the State government and LGA authorities decide to tax exempt these set of people.?

3) Trade agreements: What if the SE governors decide to set up a unit that visits foreign countries to establish trade agreements.?

4) Cheap but Stable Currency: What if the Easterners decide to reduce the use of currency and increase the exchange of products example when we want to import from South Africa and we need dollars, we will find what we can export to South Africa that can generate dollars for us in South Africa so that we can buy and import from them.

So you see that we can make our products 1/10 cheaper

Which other thing do you have to say.?

Export.. not when China,India, Indonesia e.t.c will sell the same product for 1/3 the price.

Ndigbo must concentrate on monopoly not restructuring.

The east won't win the restructuring game... it's not in a position to negotiate..at least not yet.

Restructuring is about the flow of capital. Cheap capital is the main idea behind restructuring. The west has Lagos and Ogun ...excess FDI.. the centre has oversubscribed treasury bills. .. the north has zero interest loans and banking. The SS has oil for barter.

The SouthEast has what ?

Technological Brains that can develop marketable Technologies globally.

Capital is not much the problem but the willingness to stick to a good plan of Commercializing the Research works of the Easterners.

If the Eastern Governments revive YOUWIN in their various states specifically to commercialize the Research Works of Easterners that can be industrialized to reduce importation and increase exportation, the wealth of the East will increase gradually.

Already Abia State governor is marketing Aba products to the Nigerian Government while his people are marketing it globally

Peter Obi of Anambra State did it then as a governor and it paid off

The only mistake they are making is not to focus on Commercializing Research works.

Once we take over our meager resources, we will invest in

1) Technological education

2) Research

3) Commercialization of Research products

4) Granting easy cash to inventors/innovators after teaching them basic business management like accounting, cash flow etc. This will be model like YOUWIN.

5) Giving our inventors/innovators public fame in order to encourage them to know that the Easterners appreciate their sacrifice.

We don't need you Cabal system of funding the center with stolen wealth of which we don't have access to.

Restructuring will make the east weaker. Anything that has to do with limiting the inflow of capital to the sole responsibility of the east translates to a tortoise vs hare development policy.

The east must delay restructuring till it has roads, relationships, schools, hospitals, railways. It cannot do with restructuring ... Where will the money come from
. Not the centre and restructuring will affect each states ability to pay loans.

I wish we can see in person. So we can discuss.. when do I will be home in November. And I explain why the east support for restructure does not benefit the east. At least not today.

Cumulation of several factors chief among them was the joint contribution of Britain , soviet union , Egypt ,Sudan and cameroon to supply military hardware, logistics support , supply of mercenaries, blockade of the borders by Niger delta and cameroon .

That igbos lasted more than 30 Months fighting a side backed by Soviet union and Britain is not only a military miracle but combat brilliance .
Sometimes i truly wish all the foreign countries can truly hands off the Nigerian Internal issues and let the better side win and subjugate the other but Alas it is the federal Government who has been foooling around asking countries that did not recognize IPOB as a terrorist organisation that would go around begging the same country for support against Biafra .

Biafra in summary did not loose to the fighting skills of Nigerian soldiers or to any federal might but to the ammunitions supplied by Britain , the MIGs from soviet union t, Pilots from Egypt . dont mind the retired foools going around and boasting of non founded exploits of how the subjugated biafra

These are secondary reasons

The real reason, is the lack of knowledge on ammunition production

The Biafrans couldn't produce bullets and shells despite their engineering feat

If they were able to produce bullets and shells just as the Israelis were able to, during the Arab invasion of 1948, the war would have ended differently.

So my dear, if the Biafrans were able to produce their ammunitions especially bullets & shells and then couple it with their locally made grenades and missiles, the support of the British and Soviet won't have made much difference for Nigerians.
