Sports / Re: Different Types Of Sports Betting Strategies by Okenejude: 2:06pm On May 09
Ashleyokeneye:

A betting strategy (also known as betting system) is a structured approach to gambling, in an attempt to produce a profit. To be successful, the system must change the house edge into a player advantage which is impossible for pure games of probability with fixed odds, akin to a perpetual motion machine. Betting systems are often predicated on statistical analysis. Here are some types of sports betting strategies;

Fixed Wager Betting: This strategy involves placing the same bet amount on every game regardless of the odds or the size of your bankroll. It's a straightforward approach, but it doesn't account for variations in odds or bankroll growth.

Martingale System: In this strategy, you double your bet after every loss, so that when you eventually win, you recover all your previous losses and make a profit equal to your original bet amount. It can be risky, as a losing streak can quickly deplete your bankroll.

Value Betting: This strategy involves identifying bets where the probability of a particular outcome is higher than what the bookmakers' odds imply. It requires a deep understanding of the sport and the ability to identify discrepancies in the odds offered by different bookmakers.

Arbitrage Betting: Also known as sure betting or miracle betting, this strategy involves placing bets on all possible outcomes of a single event at odds that guarantee a profit, regardless of the outcome. It requires quick action and often involves placing bets with multiple bookmakers simultaneously.

Handicap Betting: In handicap betting, the bookmaker gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage to level the playing field. This can be a useful strategy when one team is significantly stronger than the other, as it allows you to bet on the underdog with better odds.

Proposition Betting: Also known as prop betting, this strategy involves betting on specific outcomes within a game rather than the overall result. For example, you might bet on which team will score first, how many goals will be scored in total, or which player will score the most points.

Bankroll Management: While not strictly a betting strategy, effective bankroll management is crucial for long-term success in sports betting. This involves setting limits on how much you're willing to bet on each game, as well as how much of your bankroll you're willing to risk overall.

Each of these strategies has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the most successful bettors often use a combination of several strategies depending on the specific circumstances of each bet. Raphaël Varane: "My seven-year-old son plays football, and I advise him not to head the ball.

Even if it does not cause immediate trauma, we know that in the long term, repeated shocks are likely to have harmful effects.

I don't know if I will live to be 100, but I know that I have damaged my body.

Earlier this season, I headed the ball repeatedly during a match for Man United and felt abnormally tired in the following days, as well as having some eye fatigue.

As footballers playing at the highest level, we are used to pain, we are a bit like soldiers, tough guys, symbols of physical strength, but these symptoms are almost invisible."

Sports / Re: Is Sports Betting A Skill Or Luck? Best Approach To Sports Betting by Okenejude: 12:53pm On Sep 14, 2023
Ashleyokeneye:

Despite the belief that betting is all about luck, some people think it's possible to develop skills that will help you win. These skills might include understanding the odds, picking winners, and managing your bankroll. There is always a chance that you will lose money in gambling, no matter how skilled and/or lucky you are. So it is safe to say both luck and skills play a role in betting.
What is the best approach to sports betting?

If you’re going to gamble on sports, it’s important to do so responsibly. That means setting a budget and sticking to it. It also means only betting on games that you understand. The more you understand about a sport, the better your chances of winning are.

In addition, when you’re looking for the best odds, different sportsbooks must offer them. Shifting your bets from one book to another can save money in what would have been an expensive bet if they had only given higher numbers!

Finally, the most essential thing to remember about gambling is that you can’t always win. No matter how much skill and/or luck there was in winning the previous hand, eventually, everyone will lose something at some point — it just happens! The best thing one could do would be to accept their losses gracefully without getting angry with themselves over what happened.
If you approach sports gambling responsibly, you can expect to have a lot of fun. You might also win some money, but there will be times when you lose money. And that’s OK! The important thing is to enjoy the experience.

So, the next time you’re feeling down about a sports bet gone bad, remember that it isn’t your fault. You can only control how well you do your research and make smart bets. The outcome is out of your hands. Keep your head up and keep betting — eventually, luck will smile on you again.

Crypto currency is known to have high volatility which means anything is possible u can make 80% loss or gain in just 24 hours depending on how the pendulum swings.

Just yesterday xrp was 220 and everyone was dumping and this morning it's has moved to 270 for those that stayed on. Massive profit in 24 hrs.

Let's discuss crypto picks, strategies and tips

My strategy is hodl or swing trading

I buy and hold to make at least 50% minimum before I dump and move to the next one.

My max wait period is 3 months, sometimes I hit target much earlier the other time I cut my loss.

Day trading is a no no for me, don't even have such time

At the moment I play book of dead slots and these slots bring really good income. Although I lose too often. Sports / Re: A Premier League Offer Has Been Accepted By PSG For Real Madrid's Target by Okenejude: 2:40pm On Aug 11, 2023
Ashleyokeneye:

It is no secret that Real Madrid have been wanting to sign Kylian Mbappe for a while now, and this summer, they might have the best opportunity that they have ever had, to bring the Frenchman to Santiago Bernabeu. This time around, PSG are not only open but looking to part ways with the World Cup winner.

This is due to Mbappe’s contract situation. His current deal runs until next summer and it looks like he is not going to sign an extension with PSG. On the other hand, the Ligue 1 champions understandably do not want to see him walk out as a free agent and miss out on a significant transfer fee as a result. In fact, it looks like the French club have already accepted offers for Mbappe. But an exit has not materialized.
It is starting to look like Mbappe is destined to join Real Madrid. It is a matter of when and not if at this stage. Of course, staying on at PSG for another season cannot be ruled out. But it would not be ideal for Mbappe. Rumours have suggested that the club are ready to not play him at all for the entire season if he does remain in the French capital.

The most likely path from here might be Mbappe signing for Real Madrid this summer itself. Los Blancos do need someone to fill Karim Benzema’s void up top. The possibility of the Frenchman going out somewhere on loan for the season before joining the Spanish giants next summer as a free agent has not been ruled out either.

Sports / Re: Top 5 Footballers With The Most Guinness Record by Okenejude: 5:02pm On Aug 10, 2023
Ashleyokeneye:

In the world of football, where extraordinary moments unfold and legends are born, there exist mavericks who shatter expectations and redefine what is deemed possible. These audacious individuals not only dominate the game but also carve their names in the illustrious pages of the Guinness Book of World Records. These footballers include;

5. Neymar – 4
When PSG wanted to acquire the services of Neymar from Barcelona, they had to shell out a hefty fee of €222 million (his release clause). This transfer made him the most expensive footballer in transfer history and set the Guinness World Record. This mammoth amount was more than double the then-most expensive transfer of Paul Pogba (€105) from Juventus to Manchester United. Neymar set another record for the fastest goal in Olympic history during Brazil’s semifinal match against Honduras at the 2016 Summer Olympics. The youngster snatched the ball off a Honduran defender and found the back of the net in just 14 seconds. Before Neymar’s goal against Honduras, the Guinness record for the fastest goal in Olympic history was held by Mexico’s Oribe Peralta.

4. Kylian Mbappe – 5
The youngest player to score 100 goals in the top division of French football (soccer) is Kylian Mbappé (France, b. 20 December 1998), on 21 March 2021 aged 22 years 91 days. Mbappé scored twice for Paris Saint-Germain during their 4–2 win over Lyon to bring up his century of goals in the French top flight. He bettered the mark set by Saint Etienne’s Hervé Revelli in 1969 by more than a year. Mbappé scored 16 league goals for Monaco before moving PSG in 2017. He finished Ligue 1’s top scorer in 2018/19 and 2019/20.

3. Robert Lewandowski – 9
Lewandowski collected four certificates from the Guinness Book of Records to commemorate his crazy five-goal blitz against Wolfsburg. Lewandowski now holds the records for the fastest hat trick (three minutes, 22 seconds), the fastest four-goal haul (five minutes, 42 seconds), the fastest five-goal salvo, and the first player to score five times as a substitute in the German league. The Pole only joined proceedings at halftime against Wolfsburg but still managed to find the net five times, all in a ridiculous eight minutes and 59 seconds.

2. Christiano Ronaldo – 40
Cristiano Ronaldo‘s achievement of 200 international caps for Portugal has been recognised by Guinness World Records. The Al-Nassr superstar accomplished this remarkable feat during Euro 2024 qualifier match against Iceland on Tuesday, June 20. As a tribute to his accomplishment, Ronaldo was presented with a formal certificate by Guinness World Records as a new official record holder. The most successful penalty-taker in LaLiga and the highest-rated player in FIFA 18; The most followers for an athlete on Twitter, the most followers on Instagram for an athlete, the most followed person on Instagram, the most viewed Wikipedia page for an athlete (male), and the most likes for an athlete on Facebook are the other records that are held by Ronaldo and many more.

1. Lionel Messi – 41
Argentine legend Lionel Messi holds a staggering number of Guinness World Records, and the Inter Miami superstar is expected to smash more before he retires. The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has already bagged 34 trophies at club level, making him one of the most decorated footballers ever. Messi has won the FIFA World Cup, Copa América, and CONMEBOL titles on the international scene.
