The trial of the Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a Evans, continued on Wednesday before the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja.

The prosecution played a video which captured Evans confessing to kidnapping and armed robbery.

The State Director of Public Prosecution, Ms Titilayo Shitta-Bey, who led the prosecution, demanded that the video clip be played.

In the video the kidnap kingpin was fielding questions from a police investigative officer, Inspector Idowu Haruna.

The video was played in the course of Haruna’s testimony in the case on Wednesday.

Prayer by the prosecutor that two compact discs containing the clips be admitted as exhibits in evidence against Evans and his co-defendants was, however, opposed by Evans’ lawyer, Mr. Olukoya Ogungbeje, who said he needed time to scrutinise the CDs.

Popular American music artiste, Craig Mack, is dead.

Graig, the Long Island rapper, who was hailed as the starting foundation of Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment, died at age 46.

The artiste producer, Alvin Toney, confirmed to Daily News.

Mack, who became popular in hip-hop with his platinum summer hit “Flava in Ya Ear” in 1994, died of heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, S.C., home Monday.

Toney, who produced Graig’s debut album, “Project: Funk Da World”, said, “God bless my friend. He was a good friend of mine.”

Italy international, Davide Astori has been reported dead.

Astori was found dead in his hotel room at the La di Moret hotel in Udine ahead of Fiorentina’s game with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli, his club Fiorentina announced.

Astori, who was captain of Fiorentina, passed away in his sleep overnight on Saturday evening at the age of 31.
