u brought ur problem here u knw, n dis isnt ur room, it is a public forum where known n unknown people meet.
Am not sure u know how to read. I asked a question with the hope that people who have an idea about it can clear my doubt and out of the blues you pop out to insult yourself (not me).

It is because this is a public forum that is why some of you can talk anyhow. If we meet one-on-one will you be able to open your mouth and spew rubbish. I won't be the one to lay hands on you. My boys will.

FamilySalt And Water: Can It Stop Pregnancy? by Okobaba1(op): 5:36pm On Sep 30, 2015
This morning I was having a discussion with my friend. The discussion was centred around his Cousin's marriage. During the course of the discussion he mentioned instances where the wife of his cousin told him that she initially didn't want to get pregnant for his cousin due to the problems they were having when they first contracted the marriage. He quizzed her about how she did it and according to him, She told him that after having sex with her cousin she normally takes a mixture of salt and water. She even went further to explain that there were times she used sprite and salt immediately after the act to prevent pregnancy from occuring.

My question to the Nairaland "experienced" Ladies now is: Is it true that salt and water can effectively prevent pregnancy and what is the effect of such a mixture to the body?

What kind of childish criticism is dis?

A mature man for dat Matter saying something like, "buhari won't respect his ministers". Criticism shd not be equated with crass stupidity. Its better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth to confirm it.

PoliticsPolice Arrest Oshiomole's Driver by Okobaba1(op): 4:34pm On Sep 27, 2015
Security operatives attached to the Edo state government arrested one of the drivers in the convoy of Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

Leadership reports that the driver was apprehended on Friday, September 25, over his alleged attempts to break into the account section of Edo state government house.

It was learnt that on Wedenesday evening there was large lodgement of cash, which was probably meant to offset some expenses towards the Sallah festival.

The security operatives were on routine check when they noticed the suspect cutting off protectors in the accounts office. On sighting the operatives, the suspected thief attempted to escape. However, he had already been identified by the security men who followed him up and arrested.

The suspect was transported to the Aideyan police station in Benin.

Meanwhile, a top security source in the government house who disclosed how the incident happened, said that a thorough investigation would be carried out to find out whether the driver acted alone or in concert with others.

Confirming the incident, Stephen Onwuchei, the spokesman of the Edo state police command, said:

“There was a report of such nature. It is still at investigation level. The commissioner of police has ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to take over the investigation.

“As I speak with you, the DC State CID should be in Government House to visit the scene of crime.”

PoliticsRe: APC: The Different Sides Of Change by Okobaba1(op): 11:38am On Sep 24, 2015
Abugab:
Op you are very spot on.
The change that even the APC goons chanted is different from the change Nigerians wanted.
Buhari is more tilted towards the change Nigerians want than the change the APC goons want which is to grab power and have their share of the national cake.
However, Buhari has been able to tame them and is dancing to the more popular and loud tune from the Nigerian people.
Buhari will sure disappoint APC and PDP in this era of change but the bottomline will be the people liberated from the stronghold of thieving politicians.
The principle of utility should be the guilding that this govt needs as happiness for the majority should supercede that of the minority.
Thank u bro. Most of us are less concerned abt APC as a party. Nigerians want a leader that will be an embodiment of the kind of society they want.
PoliticsRe: Breaking: Eid Prayer Disrupted. Senate President Saraki Stoned! by Okobaba1(m): 11:33am On Sep 24, 2015

NewsRescue

The Muslim Eid al-Adha prayers in Ilorin, capital of Kwara state were this morning disrupted as the country’s embattled Senate president, Bukola Saraki was pelted with stones and pure water sachets as he arrived in his car convoy.

The chaos caused by the stoning of the senate president who has been charged with 13 counts of corruption and false asset declaration, caused the prayers to be disrupted with the loud speakers not calling the prayers and several thousands of faithfuls unable to say the prayers.

People were gathered to patiently stone him after the prayers. NewsRescue reporters saw stones flying into the sky.

The Senate president was reportedly disguised or covered up and whisked out of the grounds to save him from the anger of the crowds.

This was the first Eid Saraki was attending as senate president.

Kwara state has been slavishly under the control of Saraki and his late father for decades

PoliticsAPC: The Different Sides Of Change by Okobaba1(op):
When the Apc as a party was formed as a result of the merger by ACN, CPC, ANPP, a faction of APGA and the New PDP on february 6, 2013. Many saw the new mega party as a relief to the disorder that had characterized the Goodluck jonathan administration especially as the founders stood on the platform of "Change". Although it came as a surprise to see strange bedfellows like Buhari, Atiku, Tinubu and Later Obasanjo fraternising together to bring about the needed change but Most Nigerians were not bothered because what mattered was for the PDP government to be booted out due to the perceived excessive looting of the Nations treasury.

Now APC is in Power and Nigerians are no longer talking of the looting of the treasury or weakness of the President but a New dimension of problems have suddenly be born by the APC.

A critical look at the strange bedfellows reveals that they had one interest and that was to wrestle power from the ruling party and the change they chanted meant different things to the different camps in the APC but at that time nobody cared as long as power was grabbed.

To some it might have meant to genuinely return Nigeria back to its pride of place while to others it might have been just to grab power from PDP and to become the Boss in town. Most probably to prove a point or two to the PDP which they had hurriedly left.

A sincere look at Buhari's antecedent will reveal a man who is ready to return Nigeria back to her glorious past. So, it can be rightly inferred that to him Change represents these three (3) things: Tackle unemployment, fight corruption and insecurity.
Although are yet to see the conviction of anyone who has been accused of corruption but most sincere Nigerians would agree that in the last four months it has no longer been "business as usual" in every sector of the economy.

The APC as a party adopted change as an ideology but it must be said that the majority of the party members are yet to buy in to that idea as can be clearly seen from the recent happenings within the party.

If Nigerians are to feel the change APC preaches, it must start from within. Members of the party need to fall in line and throw away the idea that the status quo must remain because it is clear from happenings within the APC that the Change Buhari represents is different from the Change most of the party members think the APC represents.

Buhari's kind of change is what Nigerians are clamouring for. A total departure from the past. A change that will fight corruption, instill discipline in our National lives, restore our economy and shattered fcoreign image and put smiles and hope in the faces and hearts of Majority of Nigerians and not the Change that Most of the "Professional Politicians" of the APC desire. Clearly, their own idea of change is one that puts them in Power to continue from where the last administration stopped.

Nigerians have said No to that in March and April of this year and I am sure that if APC refuses to Put their house in order by 2019 they should be ready to be booted Out.

look if this government messes u nobody will mention any senators name ,everyone will be shouting buhari buhari. You are definitely an outsider to the political ring.who tells you senators are disorganized? Just wait and see .you need to understand Nigerians mentality to understand how our politics is. It would have been a different case if apc has 100 or 80 senators . Buhari and apc needs to handle saraki issue with care . If buhari messes up the game,it is then you will see that apc van crumble within weeks and months. This is negotiations time and they are presently negotiating ,when they reach an agreement ,you will know. And forget all these wishful ideas about fighting corruption it is propaganda to get you dreaming . Nothing changes
It is you who is a political outsider. I don't think you know d kind of cult-like following dat Buhari commands. I can definitely agree with the fact dat APC is headed for division and dats due to corruption fighting back because the majority of d present crop of politicians we have are all corrupt and as such a good fight against corruption can hardly see the break of dawn.

if they frustrate him and don't give accent to his bills on time and not at all ,what will buhari do?he will arrest them all abihuh?? This is democracy and not military govt, this is 2015 and not 1983 or 1985.buhari will mess up his govt big time and Nigerians will stone him if he doesn't manage the senate wisely and intelligently.even with all obj gragra he still had to bow down to the senators wishes by giving them Ghana must go bags of cash to get them to allow him to his side. Buhari body language or body posture means nothing in this politics .if these senators want to render his tenure useless they can do it
Hahahahaha...u pple need to grow up.

The Senate u are talking abt is disorganised as at this moment and dere are different groups within d senate.

Buhari has said he wants to fight this three things, which are: Unemployment, Insecurity and corruption.

The worse the senate can do is dat dey will refuse to assent to the executive bills sent to them. Now, if those bills are clearly for the interest of Nigerians, I want to submit to you Sir dat it is the Senators dat Nigerians will stone!!
