PoliticsBola Tinubu For President 2023 Group Holds Roadshow/campaign Rally In Alimosho by Okobaba1(op):
It was indeed an exciting experience in Alimosho as the support group, Bola Tinubu For President 2023 took the Local government and it's environs by storm on 14 February 2023.

Ably led by the Vice Chairman/DG, Fola Tinubu, the group went into Alimosho on a day traditionally known as lovers day (Valentine's day) with members of the group adorned in red tshirts bearing "Asiwaju cares", all smiles as they traversed the length and breadth of the local government area known as the most populous local government in the country.

Enroute Alimosho, the team made a quick stop at the Abbatoir in Oko-Oba, Agege where they were met with a large crowd of supporters who were waiting eagerly to receive them.

The convener of the One million youths for Bola Tinubu, Adamu Yusuf and his group of supporters were on hand at the entrance of the Abbatoir to welcome the DG, Fola Tinubu in traditional Arewa style adorning him in a bespoke Agbada to symbolize the group's acceptance and support of the team's efforts and objectives.

Subsequently, the group thereafter matched to the office of the Chairman of the United Butchers Association, Abdullahi Adamu who received the DG and his team in company of the union's executive members which included the Vice Chairman, Musa A. Musa, Alfa Tajudeen, Ahmad Bagudo and the Iyaloja of Abbatoir Market.

Welcoming the BT4P2023 team to their Abbatoir, the Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu recalled how Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration through visionary initiatives transformed Lagos. He emphasized that he is well aware of Asiwaju's intelligence and administrative prowess and at this time as a nation, Asiwaju is the kind of leader Nigeria needs.

Speaking in the same vein, the convener of the One million youths for Bola Tinubu for President2023 also recalled how Asiwaju's initiaves , one of which is LAMATA was replicated by most northern governors and that most of his initiatives are today templates upon which governor's across the country use for governance today in their respective states.

The Iyaloja of Abbatoir Market, Oko Oba minced no words in her speech as she declared that she and her excos have mobilized women in Agege markets to come out enmasse to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President and APC at all levels in the 2023 elections. She explained that her conviction is based on the fact that Asiwaju understands the importance of women in Nation building and that he is always ready to carry women along. So she is confident that as president women will have better representation and opportunities.

In his response, the DG thanked the Chairman and his members for the warm welcome accorded the entourage and assured them that as consistent with Asiwaju's nature, they will not be forgotten when he becomes president. He therefore encourage them to continue to mobilize their supporters and appeal to them to turn out enmasse on election day to cast their vote for Asiwaju and all APC candidates from top to bottom. He further assured them he will be back to celebrate the victory of Asiwaju at the presidential polls in a bigger way after the polls.

The train then proceeded to Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA where they were received by party supporters who had been eagerly waiting for the crew at the open space of the LCDA dancing excitedly in high spirits.

On hand to receive the train at Agbado Oke-Odo was Hon. Francis, the coordinator for Alimosho. From Oke-Odo, the train then proceeded to ilepo from where the train traversed iyanapaja, Egbeda, Ayobo, igando, ikotun, idimu, and Shasha. The train was greeted with wild jubilation and dancing by residents at different markets and locations, and in the spirit of love, face caps and tshirts bearing Asiwaju cares were freely given to residents for the love shown to the team.

The DG made a brief stop at Shasha roundabout to address the press where he reiterated that Alimosho has Asiwaju's imprints and projects across the local government making reference to its significance in the scheme of things by encouraging residents of the area to vote massively to reciprocate Asiwaju's kind gesture to them over the years.

The coordinator for Alimosho, Hon. Francis also used the opportunity to acknowledge Alimosho as Asiwaju's base, assuring party faithfuls that Alimosho will give nothing less than 1 million votes to Asiwaju in coming polls.

The train then continues towards Dopemu where there is another stopover and this time sees the DG dancing excitedly with members to the admiration of residents. He then thanks and acknowledges everyone for the efforts made towards the success of the campaign roadshow.

The success of the campaign roadshow in Alimosho is a very important step in mobilizing undecided voters for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in forthcoming presidential election holding next week.

PoliticsRe: NNPC: Nigerian Refineries Damaged Beyond Turnaround Maintenance by Okobaba1(m): 6:40pm On Oct 29, 2020
My brother where you base? I ready

daddytime:
Mission accomplished, corruption triumphed, and no English again to take continue to dey defend the looting in the name of TAM when the original refinery (Dangote refinery) don come on board.

What a country.

Until we all go back to the basics, to agree on where we got it all wrong, even though we have an idea from when we got it wrong, we all still need to accept our respective culpabilities, no matter how damning or painful to the ears they might sound, and honestly agree to work towards mending the burnt bridges and rebirthing that much-eroded trust that is presently our bane as a nation/people, we shall continue to run around in circles with the same oppressive and vengeful system still in place because true repentance and forgiveness from all parties involved aren't being talked about.

Everyone is still stubbornly claiming to be politically right.

The present system and constitution upon which Nigeria is being run were deliberately crafted in that manner to be vengeful, spiteful, evil, lopsided, and generally rotten.

To have a glimpse of an idea about what I mean, ask yourself this; why is it that, those who seem and sound sane from the sidelines, and supposedly activists for the masses easily get to lose their voices and instead get swallowed up in the quagmire of everything decrepit within the system the moment they ascend the ladder on to the corridors of power?

The answer is simple, and it is akin to wearing a spotless babaringa or well-tailored suit to climb down sewage and expect not to reek of poo or get blemished. How possible can this be?

I keep telling people that the problem with Nigeria is fundamental, foundational, and structural. And until we begin to sincerely seek a way to address these issues, we'd only be piling up more blocks or floors on a structurally defect sky scrapper and the result will always be an eventual collapse besides the severe and un-healable injuries that'd have been sustained along the way.

If we don't come out, in all honesty, to discuss, seek genuine forgiveness from each other, we won't make any headway even with a million #Endsars protest or youth parties combined.

I've always thought the oldies in power are 100% the problem and as such, a chance for the youths at governance will rectify all the malaise we are presently faced with. But having tried in my little way to birth a youth movement to realize the above and getting stuck along the way, I was forced back to the drawing table to have a rethink, go back in time to history, and find out what the problem truly is.

I soon realized that the problem isn't the people that get into government perse, neither is it their qualification, age, religion, or region, but the system through which they come and upon which they operate is flawed and deliberately so to achieve a set goal.

A set goal which boils down to the history of this country, a history set on "never again", a history set on the perceived or actual betrayal of trust, a history built on " fool me once, you are the fool but fool me twice, then I'm the fool", in short, a history set on, "forgetting and forgiving is a sin".

We all need to know our history to some extent to understand where we are coming from, where we are presently, including how we got here, and ultimately, where we are headed, how we intend to get there, and of all, if we will ever get there.

To understand our history, it would be important to understand where we were as a people pre-independence, post-independence, the 1966 coup, the post-coup events, the counter-coup, the civil war, and the subsequent events that have led us here today.

We need to go back to understanding our respective regions without any bias, prejudices, arrogance, name-calling or seeing our individual regions superior to the other, et al

It is one thing to meet someone as a man or woman, feel a connect, mutual love based on trust and decide to become a couple, it is another thing to see a young girl, and decide to use all your powers including but not limited to religion, popularity, culture, and external backing to hold her to ransom and against her wish for marriage. While the first can be seen as mutual and free-willing, the latter is clearly forced, and will only breed resentment, rancor, hate, and where all these are present, retrogression naturally takes root.

We need to get rid of a system that breeds youths to power and perpetuate them into oldies in power without recourse to their downlines.

How do we go back to our pre-1966 era?
How do we rebuild the trust for one another which our actions and inactions have eroded over time?
How do we rebuild a nation where no part of the union will feel more superior politically, economically, educationally, or otherwise to the other, and rub it in without any remorse?

Always remember that if you feel justified in your myopic and selfish belief that whatever god you worship has blessed you beyond measure and above your neighbor intellectually and educationally, and as such reserve the right to see that neighbor as a sub-human or second class human, do not be surprised when that neighbor also prays to his god and gets answered when he requests to be blessed with his own gift which could be the gift to be the custodian of "Power" to rule over those who mocks him for his inability to assimilate or learn the ways of the white man as expected by his supposedly more "intelligent" and turenci speaking neighbors who would end up becoming spoke people for the supposedly "backward and unintelligent" neighbors. I hope say somebody dey understand me here... grin

E get reason why no be everybody dey sabi the white man language or way because everybody get him own unique gift from the sharer of gifts. Apart from that, who tell una say dem dey share sense, kindness, humility or how to be a good human being for school, and above all, una know wetin dem dey call native intelligence? Lol

Me wey dey write so na WAEC I get reach oh, I no even know where the certificate dey sef.

Humility and respect for one another should be a good way to start in our quest for restructuring.

God and nature can not be mocked at the same time, and if you are a fellow youth who still believes that the issues of this country Nigeria are solely physical, you had better woken up and smell the coffee.

The spiritual angle to it all dwarfs the physical you can see.

If the truth dey always sweet you for ear, you never hear better truth be that.

The truth dey bitter for the most part and e dey pain person for ear, but if you listen to am come agree say na the truth, come implement or refuse to implement am accordingly, you go dey on your way to freedom and peace of mind.

We have a way to go my people.

I be Nigerian boy from Edo State oh!

Anybody wey ready to do him best to see how we fit take heal together and rescue whatever we can of our country, I dey ready make we work together with genuine sincerity of purpose.

Bring receipts all of us know FFK has anger issues and he can very likely beat up his wife with such hot temper he has so that's not new but accusing her of stealing, infidelity, assault, indecent behaviour, battery, affray and so on without even the slightest of proofs you really expect us to believe you?

Moreover the Saint FFK has been married 3 times already so the problem is clearly with FFK or atleast he has a BIG role to play you can't always blame all your numerous failed marriages on the other party every single time
You are not wearing his shoes and may have no idea.

A man searching for a good thing can end up being three times unlucky.

I have met great guys that although had their own little issues fell into the hands of ladies with serious foundation and home problems.

So to me, most times I always advise such men to stay off love or relationships.

Or allow others wiser than you chose for you. You may not like their physical features, shape, color and all but such arranged marriage can work for such persons.

PoliticsRe: The Power Belong To God. (The Book Of Edo Chapter 1 Vs 1-34 by Okobaba1(m): 9:21am On Sep 22, 2020
THE BOOK OF ẸDO CHAPTER 1 vs 1 – 34.

1. Now, it came to pass, In that period when men chose their rulers, after the reign of Lucky the son of Igbenedion. A certain man arose from the mount of Auchi whose name was Adams the son of Osho.
2. It was he who was the chief of the publicans and a leader of labour. Later he had become Governor over all the province. And adams abode as governor for eight years in Edo.
3. Behold, During his reign, the man Adams had excelled in speech and utterred many fierce and lofty words.
4. And his oration was honey and wine to the hearts of the people.
5. He ruled the city with a mighty hand and prophesied with a loud voice unto the four walls of the cities; the North, the South, East and West, saying; 6. “Woe unto the godfathers and naysayers and oligarchists, to the men who have exalted themselves over this city as gods over men.7 “Again i say woe onto them. “For as the day wipeth out the night, I Adams the son of Osho, shall flush out their reigns, and seize their loincloth.8 “With a heavy rod shall i chase them out, and they shall run. I shall break their brass gates, and set their iron bars asunder. And it was so.
9. That at the end of the Eight year, wherefore Oshomole was to complete his reign, a man called Godwin the son of Obaseki had exalted himself saying ” I will be Governor.
10. At the same time, Iyamu the son of Ize had also exalted himself and said i will be Governor.
11.Adams had looked up the face of Obaseki and took his hand and kissed it and spake with a voice saying “Fear not, for i am with you, oh thy faithful servant, I shall bear you upon my wings, thy mouth shall speak good tidings, and in my stead thou shalt reign.
12.And it came to pass, that when the due season for contest came. Adams and Obaseki went together in one accord, to the outskirts of the cities to the tabernacles, to the villages, and to every field.
13. Lo, Oshomole had held his companions hand saying with a loud voice;“Oh cities of Edo hear ye my counsel, Oh land of my inheritance bear thy comrade’s witness, for this is the man whom thou shall vote for a faithful and just man!
14 “Begone from the man Iyamu for he is vain and double faced.
15.Cast not thy votes for him for his mouth is slack.
16 Ye! He has put on the loincloth of a saint but his heart is darker than widow’s ash.
17. Withdraw your firstborne sons, from him, for he dines in the devil’s cult.
18. Withdraw thy daughters, for he is a deformer!
19.And it came to pass that many people had hearkened unto the voice of Adams the son of Osho.
20 And on the day of reckoning more votes had been casted for Godwin than for Iyamu and he had been crowned governor to reign in Osho’s stead.
21 Behold, at about the second year of the reign of Godwin, and like a dream of the night, after the feast of the old year, the new governor and old governor saw discord together.
22 The new Governor had called upon the people saying.
” He wants Your gold and Silver and I said nay!!!. No man shall be god over this land, for this is the very cause ye fought for in your reign, and i say it shall stand.
23 And when it came to the ear of Adams the son of Osho what the new governor had done. He had cried with a loud voice..
24 “A traitor is on the throne!!. therefore shall my eyes not be allowed to behold the ungodly stand in judgement for long. 25.For yes! He has bitten the finger that fed him bread. And his rainment must be seized!. Another four years thou will not go!
26 And Godwin the son of obaseki had responded, “I shall go another.
27 On the fourth year on the month and on the day when A new adversary was to be chosen to travail with Obaseki. Iyamu had comeforth and said “here i am, i will go. And adams spake softly saying ” I am with you.
28 Now the people of the city had rent their clothes and thrown forth their voice in desolation saying to the Adams the son of Osho, who shall we go with?. 29 Whom shall we believe? For the Lord God is not the author of confusion, a man whom ye called a leper yesterday, how turneth he now an angel? And the one whom ye called a messiah the day before how turneth he now leper. 30 For dignity is not like the sun that comes and goeth. Or like the leopard spots, or like the stars, or the changing seasons. Dignity is like the word of the lord that endureth forever.
31 And it came to pass after these things, that election was held throughout the province of the ancient city on the nineteenth day in the month of September in the year of corona A.D in the reign of Oba Ewaure 11,
32 that the people of Edo decided that light should defeat darkness and godfatherism casted into the bottomless pit.
33 And, Lo The Lord blessed Godwin the son of Nogheghase, the son of Obaseki with more votes over his contenders from the plain of Bini to Esan and across river Ikpoba unto Owan, Etsako and unto Akoko Edo.
34 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of David, which saith, God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
