Now flash the Global Recovery rom zip file. Click on wipe, clear data davlick and cache. Next click on install, look for the Global recovery rom zip you downloaded and install. Enjoy

Note: Whenever there's a new MIUI update, do well to download the full recovery rom and flash with TWRP. No more direct update again

Did you have TWRP install already on your phone?

Try to boot to recovery to see if it hasn't been replaced with d stock recovery. Press volume up and power buttons simultaneously

Just make sure the things (Orange fox recovery or TWRP, Global Rom recovery zip file or Xiaomi eu rom) you will download are specifically for your RN7 Lavender. If you can't find your way round d fastboot method as said earlier

If you can't find your way round d fastboot method. Try recovery rom but you need to flash a TWRP or orange fox recovery first. Then use the custom recovery to flash the global rom recovery zip file, or even flash Xiaomi Eu rom if you want to enjoy the largesse of Xiaomi dialer

Can't see d screenshot very clearly, but on an average it should take 15-20 mins.

Has d phone rebooted to the start screen (ie d screen you see when you power on a new phone), IF yes then the flashing should be SUCCESSFUL.

Mi unlock tools and Mi Flash tools. Just google the how to and also read through the Xiaomi Tweaking thread link in first page of this thread for pointers.

It is a must. You might be lucky and the bootloader gets unlocked immediately.

After that you flash the Fastboot ROM of the Global Version
