Hmmm... I feel I owe this thread atleast more clarification about this whole DC invitation saga.
Only on nairaland you'll find die-hard sceptics. People that can choose not to believe anything even when presented with fact. I now understand why we still have people that believe the earth is flat even in this 21st century.
Anyway, on the risk of sounding condescending, I'll humbly confirm AGAIN that the DC invite is actually real and the DC is scheduled to hold next week. I was sent the mail after the call (I still can't believe I got the mail while others are yet to know their fate).
We all started the race together, shared ideas and rubbed mine together and Unilever Nigeria decide to do what they did by calling a few first. Among the few they called, one or two of them felt the need to let the house know about it the little they can, but what did they get? Backlash, being called cowards and trying to out rightly guilt-trip them. It just ain't fair. I'm pretty sure atleast one more person here was among those called (aside from myself and Dazzle1.2), but with the way we treated Dazzle1.2 when he broke the story to us and the subsequent pressure we put on him to even go as far as to screenshot his DC IV mail, no other person would want to go through that, and thus, such person will just quietly go on and prepare for his DC while occasionally reading some of our post and shaking his head.

Trust me, I would feel the same way like most of us are, but calling people names, doubting even the screenshot of their mail and trying to guilt-trip them just so they would spill more are some of the things I can't imagine myself doing.
By the way, the DC might be in batches, atleast since they haven't sent regret mail yet, why not just sit back and wait hopefully for your mail while wishing those that have gotten already success in their Assessment.

Also some people still go ahead to ask very direct and specific questions like the name of the person that called me. Seriously, when I saw that question I was scared.
Firstly, why do you need the name? Are you a staff of Unilever Nigeria on nairaland trying to verify stuffs? Those were some of the questions that came into my mind immediately I saw that. The reason is because, on the Unilever Online Collaboration Platform we were assigned to, in order for us to carry out research before the DC day. Those of us that were called, the person that called us, plus a Unilever recruiter(it is clearly stated in front of the persons name) are all in that group. The person that made the call and the Unilever recruiter are both there to supervise and monitor us so that we do what's expected of us before the DC day. I don't know how many groups are out there, I'm not even sure Dazzle1.2 is in that my group. So when someone decided to ask about the name of the person in that called me, the question sounded more like that of an insider (a Unilever staff) or even one of us that were successful and that maybe he/she was just trying to know if I'm in the same group with him/her. That was the reason I refused to answer that question.

I know I'm not obligated to give all these explanations, but I understand what we all went through (and are still going through) in this recruitment, that's why I'm taking my time out to explain these things.
Please we should be civil and respect each others choices here. Guilt-tripping and name-calling isn't the best approach to verify claims.

New NLers are fond of asking silly question. Every thread in J/Vacancies.. People keep asking for past questions even when it is irrelevant. Some might end up not reading the damn pq sef.

Useless zenith people.. Wrote their test since Jan this year.. They've not even called. Rubbish

If you have not done the interview, my advise.. Just do it. Its a life-applied interview. What i mean is, they'll ask you brain storming questions to see how good you are at problem solving.. Innovation and development just as the job role states.

It's not easy, it's fast and so must yoi be too. The questions i was asked weren't the same as my friend's. (so don't bother asking me what my questions were)

Just get you problem solving game on.. Speak good English not pidgin.. As the interview isn't conducted by Nigerians. Plus, make sure you have a good network. Once you go offline, i heard you can't restart the interview as your login code is valid once.. Hence, climb the pole if you must.

Like i said, the questions are based on problem solving skills, Innovation and development. Don't expect questions like teol me about yourself, where you see yourself in 50 years bla bla bla..

In summary, pay attention to the details of the video.. As you won't be able to replay. Mind you, the same way the application closed unknowingly on their portal.. It's the same way they might choose to close the interview session as well after 7 days.

So, don't wait for anyone.. Just do the needful asap. Best of luck.

I just did the KPMG test and failed. I feel so terrible and disappointed with myself coz I'm not getting younger- my age is counting and I really need a job in a consulting firm.

I have written three test in big consulting firms this year and passed none.

This is as easy as it can ever be.

Everything is automatic. Once you have a functioning mobile line and a good network. If you've played the game, ghe results is automatically sent to the recruitment team but i fink you'd have to see your result diplayed on the screen first.

There's no way you'd get a confirmation mail after the application without a link to download the game app.

Plus, I'm not sure you can use a laptop or system. Except if its Android enabled.

Why am i even answering these questions sef.. Shebi ess apply that i apply too? Pls receive sense to do the needful.

The game interview can be done through an app called Pymetric. U can get it from play store

Like i said, you don't need anyform of practice questions for the game. Its a mind test sort of game. Not critical or logical reasoning of any sort. You just have to be time conscious. Follow instructions etc.

No need for gmat. Just play on and enjoyment the moment.

After the game, the result will pop up.. And there is a description of who you are with the way you played the game. For instance, if you score a high point against your opponent, the game system could indicate that you are the kinda person that gets whosever you want anytime, anyday... Something like that

Pls be aware that your result will be sent to unilever. Infact, your game account is link to the recruitment process.

So be careful. And open your eyes.

For the supply chain... Such applicants should have an engineering degree.. Plss don't lie when applying oo. Be sincere.
For the r&d.. Applicants should have a science degree.. Chem, biochem, microbiology, food science.. Etc.

If you're selected, you'd be refered to play the online game.. It's not a game perse.. It's more tougher than you can expect. It's time consuming too. Abt 20mins if not more

If successful, you'll be refered for a video interview of which you're supposed to respond to within 7 days. You have to be smart.

I applied yesterday. No gmat required for those that will soon start asking silly questions regarding past questions.

Just be truthful, just so you know.. I think its the unilever HQ that's doing it. So obviously, everything is done inhe white man's way.
