Texas.Cowgirl:It hasn't panned out well, definitely not when 85% of their oil is controlled by the northern oligarchy.. but allow them their resource control and come back in 2 years time and ask me this same question |
alexchiny: Taaaar. Live in which U.S? Texas cowgirl is ILEKE DI. Who dash her US? She is somewhere in ogbomoshoHahaha.... I thought so too, but I said let me give her the benefit of doubt, but as always she didn't fail to disappoint |
Texas.Cowgirl:Let us see how things pan out..shall we? btw I'm no fan of war, but in the fight for equity, justice and fairness anywhere in the world, a price must be paid often times than not. |
payless: I did not see any threat made by M.L.K in what you put up there.Go to youtube and watch the various speeches of M.L.K (Information is free but it demands effort so use it) |
Texas.Cowgirl:Your term "threatening way" is subjective because whilst one person (MLK) in this case expressed that by educating a large crowd of very angry and fed up black people, the other (Asari D) is doing so by giving a reactionary speech against the northern facets who are used to this means of violence. |
Texas.Cowgirl:Common Texas cowgirl, don't be this naive. I am assuming by your moniker that you live in the U.S so I was expecting some more thoughts and reasoning put into your comments. I must say I am disappointed but oh well.. ![]() Now these are the answers to your question: He was killed because of his beliefs and movements. He wanted to integrate whites and blacks back then when racism was peak hence his famous "I have a dream speech", so you can imagine that it ticked many people off especially the government and the capitalists who practiced the divide and conquer rule much to their benefits. He was a leader of civil rights (for blacks), and he was trying to change the nation's system that had been the societal norm for a long time. It scared and angered many people. He was a powerful man, striving for a cause that some people disagreed with. The best way to kill the cause is to kill the pioneer of the cause (This remains the reason why His Excellency Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu fled Nigeria and went on a self proclaimed exile because his death at the time will mean the death of Biafra and maybe the Igbo nation). He was a great man, made martyr. |
Texas.Cowgirl:Eeeehhh did you say Martin Luther Kings speeches were peaceful.. Then I'm sorry you are still a learner.! Go and find out why he was assassinated. Because the whites knew his statements were true and one which would cause a big gigantic revolution amongst the black race within America. I rest my case.. |
Desola: Are you his spoke person?Na wa oo. Wetin me I no go hear for this nairaland again, so because he didn't say unequivocally the definition of south then you cannot use your brain to know that there are currently the south east, south south and the south west. Ok noring do you madam. I'm not his spokes person by the way but a lover of equity, justice and fairness which the current entity nigeria lacks. |
Desola: stupid bufoon! He came out raising dust on the North when in actual fact, he bears every resemblance to the North he is trying to fight. The North has so much colonised their minds that as an ijaw man, he takes identity not only in attire with the north but also in religion. A very confused child who reminds me of another similarly confused 33 year old that was taught a bitter lesson in the 60s. These people do not learn and as it was during the civil war, so shall it be now.You sound like you are about to have a heart attack..Chill out woman . Islam was not and I reapeat was not founded by the North so I don't understand who is more confused here or can't anyone practice the religion he/she wants to?.. and don't come with the same old news of Nigeria winning the civil war and his excellency leaving biafraland as a hero to fight another day cos it will simply start how moronic and idiatic your thinking faculty is. |
Desola: Firstly, who are the "we" in the south that this Buffon son of a gun refers to and secondly, this attention seeking nonentity should go into the archives and look for ojukwu's declaration of war and his empty boasts - we all know how that cookie crumbled. Let this obese dog be cognizant to the fact that any war declared would be theirs and their neighbouring primitive people to fight and should be contained within them and the north alone. As a matter of fact, he should come out and draw the map of the so called south as perceived in his warped brain because when war breaks out, everyone needs to know which side they are on. The suyas must be distinguished from the humans.I'm sure he meant the South South and South East.! If 2/3 are classed as south, can't he then say south.! Every heard of majority carries the vote. And don't even be fast to retort, the yoruba's can have the south west or they can decide to join the north, your call missy.. BTW Ojukwu's boast wasn't empty and he fought for the survival of his people for 3 years and also Asari Dokubo is not a newbie to the Nigerian government and like he said the last time he rose up, he reduced nigerian's oil production to a meager 700,000 barrels a day which forced the Nigerian government to come begging with amnesty..Go figure woman |
Texas.Cowgirl:His statements as evidenced in the video is like an Enough is Enough reactionary call to the notion which is widely believed in the North that ruling of the entity called nigeria is like a birthright to them. Hence why you can see him flair up in anger when he said "No northerner will rule nigeria ever again". It is not threat but a response to the violence which the north believe they have a monopoly to when things don't go their way.. |
Texas.Cowgirl:Oh well he will have his history books to back him up. Asari Dokubo is one very learned man and he doesn't just make empty utterances most of the time. And invading their land doesn't necessarily mean living or residing there, afterall doesn't the fulani oligarchy own 85% of the oil well in the ND region.. ![]() |
Texas.Cowgirl:I believe he meant the Ijaw Nation but I don't know for sure. |
Well I partially agree with you on your comment @musiwa27, however remember that he is not the only one to have called for blood shed in the past. Infact Buhari and many northerners are noted for this rampant and uncivilised call to violence each time. However being that one of my heroes His Excellency Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu foresaw this and broke away from the entity called nigeria which led to the unfortunate, evil and callous massacre of over 3.1million of my people, I think the North should take the lead in breaking away and I can assure you that nobody in the South East or South south will give a hoot. Not sure about the South west.. |
Gheeeenn Gheeen.! E don set, Asari Dokubo abeg tell them. They need to know that the people of 19th century Nigerians are no longer the same people now. Na you be the action man, dem wan try.. > MOD stop this una witch hunt and carry my thread go frontpage na.![]() |

Gheen Ghen...E don happen.! Well done Asari Dokubo who said Violence or Ruling over the affairs of the entity Nigeria is monotonous.. No mind them Carry go GEJ, We dey behind you solidly come 2015 if Nigeria still remains one. ![]() OP Front page na, since una say una no go put my other threads to frontpage because it is seeking a truth you guys dont believe well this one is concerning Nigeria so oya carry am go front page abeg. |
ABUJA – Angered by the arrest calls that trailed his comment, Monday, that peace will elude Nigeria if President Goodluck Jonathan is not returned in 2015, the Niger Delta frontline Activist and Leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari has dared the House of Representatives and the security agencies to arrest him if they can muster the courage to do so even as the former Governor of old Anambra state, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife opined that arrests should start with people who had made similar comments in the past. Mujahid Dokubo-Asari Leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari Asari who is the former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) also said that any attempt to arrest him will mark the end of Nigeria and called the authorities coward if eventually the threat of his arrest was not affected. Speaking in a Press Conference in Abuja Thursday, Asari said he does not bat an eyelid over his previous comment on 2015, stressing that he stands by his words that there will be no peace in the country if Jonathan is not re-elected for a second term in office in 2015. His words: “I stand by my statement which I made in my early press conference, there will be no peace, not only in the Niger Delta, but everywhere, if Goodluck Jonathan is not president by 2015, and I want to add that the Fulanis, who migrated and invaded our lands and continue to show disregard and disrespect to the owners of the country they came into, and people have tolerated them for a very long time will no longer continue.” More Details soon Read more at: http://www.infonigeria.net/arrest-me-if-you-can-asari-dares-ig-reps-others/#ixzz2SotN8muZ |
Abeg GEJ carry dey go, if by 2015 there is still an entity called Nigeria, then na you go still lead am make the haters do their worst and we SS, SE and Middlebelt with the few yorooba and hawusa progressives will show them a thing or two.. . No mind the enermies of progress way dey avoid this news like plague, them won hear bad news but Jah pass them. |
This just justifies my pure hatred for imperialists.! What the fuucck is the U.S problem in Nigeria's affair.. Always acting like the big boss and desecrating affairs of nations. GEJ please stay strong on your resolve not to give in to the demands of the devil in U.S clothing. Max that will happen is we split this country and everyone answers their fathers name which has always been my prayer. ![]() |
Wife-beater-upr:I have no time for idiota's so keep bleating like a goat, I said it before and I say it again..Them never start to cry and regret.! Like my Nwanne said 3.1 million Igbo souls are not the same as anyother and we can see it evident in the past and current camatose state of Nigeria..Enjoy the reward of your blatant support and caressing of evil, more to come to una ![]() |
Very misleading and disgusting reporting.! It is freaking Nigerian soldiers who faught against The Indeginous people of Biafra cry out in regret. No worry una never start to regret, you think the blood of the lil kids, old fray men and women not to mention pregnant women who were butchered will just go silently like that. Mba nu it can never happen |
CROWÉ: Answering the question in the title, only God can know if it would have been good or not, such a thing is impossible for us mere mortals. I am sure Igbo people will like to hope but thats all there is also I would advise less talk about Biafra, it only serves to increase discontent and therefore tension in the east.It is obvious to me that the president of the republic of haiti will fully disagree with you on that as he clearly stated in his writing above. Also there is no way you can convince any sane Igbo man or woman to stop talking/agitating for the realisation (because Biafra has been actualised) of The Republic of Biafra for the indigenous people of Biafra because Biafra is a spirit and almost everyone who originates from the old eastern region have that spirit well engrossed in them. They may choose not to express it out of fear or a belief of the propaganda which was planted by the Northern/Fulani Caliphate but they cannot destroy it and it will one day express itself as seen in Asari Dokubo's and Edwin Clarkes statement of regret. |
The March 22, 1969 statement by DR. FRANCOIS ‘Papa Doc’ DUVALIER (April 14, 1907 – April 21, 1971), PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF HAITI (from 1957 to 1971), On The Recognition Of The Republic Of Biafra As A Sovereign State. Your Excellency,I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter under date of December 10, 1968, which has been handed over to me personally by the members of the prestigious Biafran Delegation, Dr. Okechukwu Ikejiani and Mr. Chukwuma Azikiwe, in the course of a special audience held in the National Palace on February 20th 1969.It is with a feeling of great pain that I concerned myself with this important document and analysed the various stages of the tragic condition prevailing in Nigeria ever since 1966. Both the Haitian people and myself have greatly appreciated the basic reasons which prompted you in delegating an extraordinary mission to thePresident for Life of the first independent Negro Republic in the world, that Republic which for over a century and a half incarnated alone Negro dignity and pride while at the same time proving the capability of our race to self government.I have watched with heart sorrows the distressing events which – only in the course of May to October 1966 – culminated in the massacres of some 30,000 persons originating from the East of Nigeria and which plunged over 3 million into despair, physical and moral woes.. The serious consequences brought about by the arbitrary division of Nigeria into twelve states have not escaped my notice either. My attention has been especially held by the commendable efforts achieved by the African Unity Organisation and numerous Heads of State and politicians of the Black Continent with an eye to reaching a solution to the crisis in Nigeria. But the clash of weapons goes on clanging, the number of victims increasing, and the destruction of the country being ruthlessly pursued. On July 29th, 1968, I answered in the following way the appeal of Dr. Douglas, President of the Council on Afro-Jamaican Affairs, Kingston, Jamaica:“I did receive your cable under date of July 18 by which the Council of Afro-Jamaican Affairs request my support and relief for thousands of Biafrans, victims of the unfortunate civil war between Biafra and the Federal Government of Nigeria. I will be happy to join my efforts to those of numerous international agencies concerning themselves already with this serious problem, and have asked of the qualified services of my government to study it with a view to decisions to be taken under the dual criterion of the human aspect of the question and of the principle of non-intervention in the affairs of other peoples which is one of the foundations of my foreign policy.”On August 19th 1968, granting to African questions the prominent place to which they are entitled in my foreign policy, I addressed, through the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the U.N.O., the following telegram to the U.N.Secretary General, U Thant:“Reference your cable August 19th 1968 instant, I think it is my duty to remind you that the Haitian Government cannot fail to express in all occasion its solidarity with the Biafrans whose ancestors played a capital role in the glorious epic of 1804. Numerous African countries have already recognised the Government of Biafra and some Western countries, moved by the heroism of her sons will support the right of the Biafran people to self-determination. Such are, regarding this question, the guidelines of my thoughts which I request of you to take into account during the debates.”A left-over of colonialism which worked relentlessly at destroying the structures of Negro-African civilisations and demarcating boundaries with her own interests as the sole criterion, Federal Nigeria has never since her independence shown the distinctive mark of a united nation. It has been impossible for her to silence tribal rivalries – to achieve the mixture of ethnic and cultures likely to secure national unity.A comparative analysis with the territorial extension and the population of many countries having a seat in U.N.O. underscores the importance of Biafra, which extends over 29,400 square miles and groups more than 14 million inhabitants. Culture, geography and inter-group unions have woven all along history close links between the four great ethnic entities forming the Biafran population, viz. Igbos, Ijaws, Efiks and Ogojas. Thanks to the resources of her sub-soil and the desperately hard work of her sons, Biafra has been for long since a powerful economic entity an object of the most diverse covetous desires. The vocation of the first independent Negro Republic in the world to secure everywhere the defence of the prestige and dignity of our race, its conditions of an extra-continental state added to the fact that it does not seek any personal advantage, put Haiti in a privileged position to cause the voice of right, wisdom and equity to he heard. My long experience of office – for twelve years I have been presiding over the destinies of the Republic – taught me that it is labouring under a delusion when dealing with situations taking on such a tragic cast to rely on international organisations and still less on some foreign powers that take unfair advantage of our divisions and harbour no sincere wish of a return to peace in Nigeria. My political philosophy and the struggle which I am firmly carrying on in Haiti, in the basin of the Antilles and on the large international stage against Marxism-Leninism cause me to consider with apprehension the ever-increasing influence of communism in Nigeria. The planes, weapons and experts of Soviet Russia are playing a paramount role in the conflict. In fact, that great European power is eager to transform Nigeria into a satellite country and make sure of an operational base in the very heart of Africa, a new stage of its dream of world domination- a dream that dates back to Peter the Great and Catherine II.The profound and generalised resentment of Nigeria against Biafra together with the will of domination of some nations jeopardise the future of Biafrans and threaten to destroy the glorious Igbo tribes, descendants of those men who contributed to the founding of the Haitian homeland. From the point of view of international law as such, and account being taken of such norms as are generally agreed upon, I am of the opinion that Biafra fulfils the essential conditions to constitute a nation, namely: a material element, the territory and more especially, a human element: the population. The said human element is united by race, religion, language, history, a set of laws. It is, furthermore, consolidated by the moral unity and the common will of Biafrans to group themselves under one banner. This general resolve adding to the community of origin and interest: The nation Biafra does exist, and, therefore, it is for her a scared duty to organise herself as a free and sovereign state. The Recognition which the Government of the Republic of Haiti solemnly gives to the Republic of Biafra is based upon the cardinal principal of its foreign policy, namely the indefeasible right of peoples and governments to decide freely of their destiny. This recognition of the Republic of Biafra as a free and sovereign state is in keeping in line with my doctrine of government to participate in the defence of oppressed states and peoples. Besides humanitarian reasons: this doctrine aims at a return of a just and lasting peace between Nigeria and Biafra. A peace which could be enriched by an economic federation likely to assure the well-being of the populations.I think it is my duty to express the fervent wish that this disinterested act bearing the imprint of wisdom accomplished by the first independent Negro Republic in the world, summit of the black world, be a symbol, an example, a source of inspiration for the governments and peoples of Africa. It constitutes the contribution of our unique experience as a Negro nation to the resumption of a brotherly dialogue between Nigeria and the Republic of Biafra.I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to your Excellency the assurances of my highest and distinguished consideration.Signed: Dr. Francois Duvalier, President, Republic of Haitihttp://usafricaonline.com/2010/01/16/haiti-igbo-biafra-duvalier-1969/ Ref: http://radiobiafra.co/news/biafran-history/president-of-the-republic-of-haiti-on-the-recognition-of-the-republic-of-biafra?fb_action_ids=10151454275228598&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map= |
Billyonaire: Elbit Systems Awarded a $40 Million Contract to Supply a Country in Africa with the Wise Intelligence Technology (WiT[TM]) SystemIs it that this is another propaganda tool by the GEJ haters or that Nigerians have no clue on English comprehension or is it that the subject have become obsolete that it is no longer taught and some nigerian graduates have become this low academically.. From the information on the supposed companies website which is clearly quoted above, it says it has been contracted to SUPPLY INTELLIGENCE ANALYSIS AND CYBER DEFENCE EQUIPMENTS, not "Monitor Nigerians cyper space from Isreal" as purported. Why has the media turned against Nigeria's best president ever to discredit his tenure via propaganda... . Abeg GEJ Carry dey go, we the progressives and unbiased citizens have decided to keep you in Aso Rock till 2019..Let the disgrunted few do their worse..Nonsense |
OMG this is just pure and undiluted wickedness and heartlessness.. What would make a human being commit such and still go to sleep knowing fully well what they've done. . I don't know you or the circumstances that led to your death but R.I.P woman |
Fantastic thread by the OP (Except the issue of refrencing which should be addressed) Otherwise what a fantabulous thread for any serious minded woman who is looking to experience a life of bliss when the corporate world finally tells on your body that you can no longer attain the independent, feminist and financial position you used to. God knows that when I finally decide to marry, I will be looking for a woman with all these traits and more except of cause the NO. 7 point (Because of its vitality in todays world were free punny is around every corner). And if it means going back to the village to find myself a loving, caring and respectable wife that will not give me bullshit after a day at work then so be it afterall it even seems those are the sort of women who bring out the best in a man (President GEJ) is an example that springs to mind and not all these "oyibo women wannabe" girls of today that believe the atrocious lies of "Feminism". All in all I believe the author of the post I quoted below to be 100% right and it is a shame that we have women (African women being my focus because I definitely think most make better wifey's and I am a very strong Pan African) in this generation who have lost all their appeal as a woman and are now rather clamouring to become a man. God forbid that I reduce to a level where my wife will tell me to go and perform house chores as an obligation and I do it (Although from time to time I will out of love and romance help out). We both can never and will NEVER put legs in the same "trouser" of our marriage because that will be the beginning of a fall waiting to happen. God bless all the men and women who understand these facts of different roles in a household(To the men, I hope you have not forgotten the obligation to love, provide, care and protect your wife and family irrespective of your wife contributing financially) and to the sisters who are still choosing to believe the deceit of "feminism" or 21st century bullshit, you better listen and learn. Nothing worse than getting to a stage in life when you are full of regret and saddness all because you refused to listen. I have seen very sad, lonely (unmarried)old women who toed that line and trust when I say it is a pitiable sight. A word is enough for the smart/wise/understanding. God bless boarnerges: somethings are just too unnatural for men, likewise the women. Men will never bow to some things no matter what.its a natural instinct. Unfortunately, the sweet feminish character that decribes the aura of womanhood is fast disappearing. What we have today is like another evolution story of monkeys turning to humans;but this time women turning to men in the guise of some western dominated 'gender equity'. No wonder, our men have also evolved into some sort of wild animals excersicing the mike tyson prowess on our 'evolved modern men' at every slight provocation. There cant be two presidents in a country,There will be chaos. I think the whole world is now acting a drama, hence the chaos. Long live the modern old school life of our ancestors. |
