PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by OkparaIgbo: 5:46pm On Jan 05, 2013
Aigbofa: In the spirit of equity you can argue for a Nigerian president if Igbo extraction. But the notion that he will transform Nigeria just because of his tribe is nonsense.
As for Biafra, it is no longer a potent weapon of blackmail, nobody cares.
I wouldn't have bothered replying your nonsense but I just want to; like I did to your colleague give you a one time fair hearing. I am basing my comments on the initial replies from ignoorant peeps who said that an Igbo man should reform Igboland first before thinking of leading Nigeria. Well now back to your post, If leaders are choosen based on merit and evidential impacts they have had in fields they are associated with, then I believe that if an Igbo man is giving a chance to lead Nigeria, he/she will transform Nigeria not only because this will settle the inbalance in the system, but will reflect the sort of spirit that have propelled Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Charles Soludo, Chinua Achebe, Dora Akunyili, Colins Nweke, Chuka Umunna, John Abraham Godson et.all to the top .
PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by OkparaIgbo: 5:22pm On Jan 05, 2013
abrat: I was told President Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Jonathan is half Igbo & half Ijaw. If that is so, it means we are currently having Igbo man as president. What else do u want?
Sorry to burst your bubble abrat.! GEJ is not an Igbo man however the Igbo's and the Ijaw's or should I say South south are more of cousin's in the sense that we were closely together in the fight for our freedom from Nigeria in 1967 if you know what I mean. There is therefore no reason why an Igbo man should not be given the chance to lead Nigeria or allowed to decide his future by gaining the Sovereign Republic of Biafra.

la furia: 1.STFU as well, haba, you see thats the problem with you folks, u asked about your region, you didnt answer because u have nothing to say both jumped to talk to another. u guys complain about the north as if u care more than the northers. Are telling me east cant develop because they are yet to occupy the presidecy? what made u guys to vote GEJ 100percent? tell me, yea, becuse he was close to the igbos. what has anyim done since he became sec-gen of the federation? not heard much from him. it is the likes ohakim, orji that will rule naija? u all dont even support rochas for goodness sake.

2. yes north has ruled for more years and achieved basically nothing, the northerners know that more than u do. and other region deserves a chance but that person should have a proven record and not because he comes from the east or west. look at GEJ, no proven record as governor but got voted for presidency and here we are. obviously how can u prove to me that an igbo person becoming the president would develop?

3. u dont want a northern president because they havent developed their region, y should i accept an eastern when he hasnt done any.....i guess akpabio should be the next president since he is obvious person developing his state.
Ok where are you from? Now let me challange you to expose your folly here. If you are Yoruba, show me any state apart from Lagos that is more developed and modern looking than Enugu state huh If you are Hawusa, which Northern state apart from the FCT Abuja is more advanced and modern looking than Anambra state. If not I say to you again...foooool STFU.! We voted for GEJ 100% because we believe in "Equity and Fairness". And unless we get it too, Nigeria will keep moving round aimlessly in circles of cause Obviously until we get our Sovereign Republic of Biafra.
PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by OkparaIgbo: 4:56pm On Jan 05, 2013
MegaMan2020: Igboland is easily the most underdeveloped part of Nigeria. That's why Igbos run away from the place. It's also why Igbos that run to the North and SW don't want to develop their place. They know it's a lost cause. Imagine Igbos talking how great they would make Nigeria when they can't even make Igboland great lol.
I already smell stupidity from a mile away and I am not going to engage or polish your ignorant wing here. I will just leave you with the facts and you can keep on rolling around in your stupid propaganda. Igboland infact so you know is one of the most developed region in Nigeria with industries like like PZ,Lever brothers,International Equitable,Colgate,NBL,Guiness,Neimez,Nnewi (The japan of Africa), Innoson Motors (The first Indegineous motor manufacturing plant in Africa) to mention but a few am not even going to sit here and start mention the Igbo Men and Women who keep showing their vigor in the Art, Health, Education, Sciences, Literature etc.
Yes I accept that the Igbo's are known travellers and risk takers and hence have built their empires in regions some of which are not Igbo. However this tide is seriously changing and we the young one's are in motion to change it and are already doing so by Huge investments evident in Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia. Now back to the topic, only a retaarded monkeey will say an Igbo man should reform his region before thinking of leading Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by OkparaIgbo: 4:33pm On Jan 05, 2013
To all those saying they are yet to see an Igbo governor rebrand his state first and the charity (Holier than thou) bullshit being spewed here I say STFU.! The North is the most rusty, sandy, ignorant, dirty et.all places yet they have ruled Nigeria for over 40years. The Yoruba's except Lagos have one of the most archaic, dirty, smelling looking regions yet have ruled Nigeria. Even OBJ could not reform the prison he came from not to mention his state Ogun state. And here people are talking of reforming your region as a criteria to lead Nigeria. Hate it or like it, the truth is that except the Igbo's are giving the chance to lead this nation and show what we are made of like we have displayed in so many positive area's around the world; Nigeria will keep moving aimlessly in circle. Of cause obviously we have our Soverign Republic of Biafra which will be of cause the best omen smiley
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Be Grateful To Igbos? by OkparaIgbo: 4:12pm On Jan 05, 2013
FXKing2012: @okparaIgbo, I guess that is why Igbos are called Jews - no matter how much u try to suppress them, they keep multiplying and growing stronger.
I think so too, because so many time the jews were severely dealth with and almost wiped out of the earth via Pharoah of Isreal, Adolf Hitler etc. but after all the efforts of men, the council of the lord stood and that is why uptil now the Isrealites are still standing and infact are growing stronger. So I wouldn't doubt the comparison of the Igbo's to the Jew's
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Be Grateful To Igbos? by OkparaIgbo: 3:52pm On Jan 05, 2013
FXKing2012: Without boring you with the input of great Igbos such as Azikiwe, Mbadiwe, etc in the struggle for independence, here is a list of Igbos laundering the image of Nigeria and helping Nigeria to be respected within the international community:

Okonjo Iweala (World Bank VP and best finance minister), Ezekwesili (World Bank president for Africa), Prof Chinue Achebe (best Nigerian author and author of the best selling African novel), Prof Maurice Iwu (developer of HIV treatment drug), Don Jazzy (best African music producer), Chidinma (best African female singer), P.Square (best African music group), Flavour (best Nigerian male singer), Prof Akunyili (best NAFDAC DG), Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (author of Purple Hibiscus and winner of multiple literary awards), Kanu Nwankwo (most decorated African footballer of all time), Soludo (best CBN governor), Okorocha (best state governor), FXKing2012 (best forex trader), etc etc.

Now, question is shouldn't Nigeria be more grateful to Igbos?
The blatant truth is that the Igbo's are evidently a blessed ethnic group and Nigeria has tried to suppress it and you don't have to look far to see why.! It's just like the story of Joseph who was blessed by God yet was hated by his closest kin (his brothers) even to the point that they planned harm on him angry. But one thing has always remained SURE, and that is "The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and it addeth no sorrows" smiley and that is exactly why the Igbo's keep matching forward inspite of the hatred and jealousy from them all. I am proud to be an OkparaIgbo... wink

marveouz: Superiority complex is a psychological defense mechanism in which a person's feelings of superiority counter or conceal his or her feelings of inferiority.....you need a Psychologist.
My friend you definitely do need a psychologist. The nonsense you posted above have been the self deceit lies you tell yourself when someone simply tells you the truth. If this true statement " I am of Igbo origin and by default I can NEVER be a coward.. I'm blessed by God even before I was born because he knew I was going to be a son from the land of the brave. smiley" equals superior complexity then let it be known that I am superior complex and you are nothing but a sore loser. cool

Guapo: This is chronic stupidity. I went through the 9 pages of these thread smh. To the starters of these thread, i say you've done a good job. Its what you were paid to do, because i don't see sane humans deriving satisfaction in pursuing a cause without some measure of benefits. And to those on the side of Fashola, i am very disappointed that you had to dance to their tune and waste ur internet data. You all should have seen the motivation is not ordinary and patriotic, its evil. If these are the citizens Nigeria breeds, its a pity. You wish to know whose side i'm on? Well, i'm on the side of good governance irrespective of who brings it. The whole eggs in the basket have gone bad, yet we single one out for criticism. That is Madness! angry
My friend would you shut up and stop barking like a foolish dog huh Who are you blaming for educating your mind to see that the patriots of the Lagos state government didn't do him any favour by not providing on ground progress on the front page. Since you are on the side of good governance why did you yourself not post evidential documents to quell the question from the OP. Are you mad or what angry I see educational standards have become severly damaged in Nigeria that graduates these days are once who are besieged by the hydra-headed monster called illitracy undecided

Eko Ile: Worry about your stone age village you dumb azzzz double ID coward...
You are nothing but the son/daughter of a smelly Yoruba big mouthed ape loving woman therefore already cursed before birth. Hahaha Coward you say? Son I am of Igbo origin and by default I can NEVER be a coward.. wink I'm blessed by God even before I was born because he knew I was going to be a son from the land of the brave.. smiley, however same cannot be said about the loud mouthed, noise making and weak Yoruba folks who instead of come out to say it how it is will rather run inside a cave. angry angry. Keep mouthing off son, I'm done with you as I would rather action than words

ikeyman00: ^^^^ the wahala is tribalism wouldnt let them em lipsrsealed
My brother I couldn't believe people from the supposed same country were this insecure that instead of provide evidential documents of reasonable project successes, they began to throw insults and query governments that were not the subject and even went as far as opening a similar thread. This made me almost conclude that there was no hope and that is exactly why students fail exam. Providing answer's to the wrong question believing that they know.
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by OkparaIgbo: 1:04am On Dec 26, 2012
I took interest because I was hoping to see in pictures some developments on ground in Lagos state, having been awed by the tremendous achievement by Gov Sullivan Chime and a few other governors and unfortunately I couldn't get it here as some of the ACN propaganda machine took over the thread asking for achievements of other government officials rather than the subject which was on the hot seat. sad Anyway that didn't deter me from combing other threads to see what I could find and as an honest person I found some achievements from Fashola in this thread, https://www.nairaland.com/695873/fashola-eko-o-ni-baje/7
However I still believe that a lot more should be done by the lagos state government based on the IGR and the allocations it takes from the FG each month. And as for the propaganda machineries on here, I say shame on you all angry angry because if we can't come together to query our governments one after another without deviating or trying to shift blames then I see no hope or any possibility of improvements from these guys in power. I believe a better way to have ended the search was to provide evidence of completed projects on ground. That would have quelled the situation. Anyway I will still check to see if the ACN machines have uploaded any recent completed project or if they are still pointing fingers at everyother government but lagos state
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by OkparaIgbo: 2:01pm On Dec 25, 2012
I am highly disappointed at this point that the people who have set out to credit Fashola so much have not come up with pictures of completed projects apart from Computer aided designed pictures. shocked huh I must say honestly that I came into this thread looking to see pictures of marvellous works of Lagos state like in the case of Enugu state and some other states but I'm disappointed that all I read is deflections and defensiveness from people that seem to be propelling the ACN propaganda. This thread is called searching for FASHOLA'S Achievements in 6years angry and anyone that keeps bringing in other politicians or parties into this apart from the subject should be ashamed at his/her lack of comprehension undecided lipsrsealed

Mr.Globe please keep me informed when a project success is seen and be honest as I am in this for information and to sieve the chaff from the grains.
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by OkparaIgbo: 2:28am On Dec 25, 2012
I had to comment after it seems there is little achievement on ground to Fashola's six years in office. This is not about GEJ, PDP, etc. I am finding it hard to believe that after all the media hype and claims by ACN, it is proving difficult to find pictures substantiating any reasonable achievement(s) by the Lagos state government void of private investments shocked shocked This is appalling and I will wait for Rhino and co to start posting evidences if any before making my conclusions that it has been a jolly ride all through some of which I fell for angry undecided

I love Ndi-Igbo to the core. Reason's being:
1. Against the conspirated notion that we are not united, Igbo's are one of the most united set of people
2. Igbo's are always the first to step-up and welcome wholeheartedly strangers and will go out of their way to make sure the stranger feels at home. A popular saying in Igbo is make sure you treat a stranger well (Or something along that line)
3. Their enterprising and industrious nature. This is not because I am a full blooded Igbo man but because of the evidential truth I have seen and keep seeing from time to time. Igbo's have been blessed by God himself in this area and many others
4. Willingness to try out every corner, basically not giving up without a big fight and this is evidential in almost every phase in Nigeria. From the musical, entertainment prowess to the trading sectors
5. As a proud Igbo son, I can authoritatively say that my Igbo sisters are the prettiest damsels around in Nigeria although I hate this issue of trying to raise their heads against their husbands which I read is going on in some families in the USA and yes a few people will say what of the fulani's but I categorise an pretty endowed woman better than just a pretty woman.
6. My Igbo brothers, one love too (NO HOMO)
7. The Igbo cooking and food is one that most be tried if you know you love foods. I haven't experienced anything as lovely and delicious as an Igbo woman's cooking and the variety of foods available to Ndi-Igbo.
8. I can keep going on and on but I will end here..............................

Ndi-Igbo I'bem ekele mu nu ooo. Ndi Chukwu gozi ri agozie ka anyi bu..Iseeee.!!
I challenge every Igbo man and woman to say no to Evil vices and crimes that bring shame to Igbo land and let us make our land as beautiful as it was ordained to be by God....Amen

Of course, those creatures know the real status of the Yorubas in Nigeria but it makes them feel a whole lot better to think the Yorubas are suffering.

I don't believe you read the post girl, Nobody else thought the Yoruba's were suffering especially after a Yoruba man was the president for 8years and was gunning for life presidency.. shocked shocked But it seems your leaders disagree hence why they keeping crying to Aso-Rock or does the Afenifere represent the Igbo's or Hausa's angry huh huh

When would this country join the league of countries with Police Helicopters to track and hunt down these criminals head on. For those celebrating the kidnap of this woman, I just sit back and marvel at your ignorance because these are the same people that will query what is wrong with the country forgetting that it's individuals that make up a country and change must start within.
