In 2015, Ambode had no political clout or base but was chosen Tinubu. Former Gov. Fashola knew he himself was also a benefactor of similar system of handpicking process and had no choice but to support Ambode against Jimi Agbaje. If you can recall, Jimi Agbaje was at this time a heavy weight.

Babatunde Fashola campaigned and toured the whole of Lagos state with Amode(a civil servant so to say, at this time). Mr. Fashola single handedly ran the campaign. I can vividly recall Ikorodu and Mushin rally where Oga Fashola was dancing like an idiot just to see the supposed party choice/concesus candidate win the election.

He took him round the state and made sure Jimi Agbaje was disgraced with all his Federal might and backing .

The party leadere called him to take a chill, Iro, Oga Ambode continued to ruine his benfactors name and did not want to stop until he has achieved his aim.

Ilubinrin Project was aborted, Adiyan water works, Odo Iyalaro waste water project, Mile 2-Badagry express way(This is now an eye sore)

He removed Oresanya LAWMA boss, sacked LASAA boss, disorganized LASEB, disorganized LAWMA, public works, changed KAI (an agency that was started by Tinubu himself), to LAGESC. Oga calm down, IRO. He no listen

There's a saying that "a problem known is halfway solved"; so I want to believe you're almost at solution. That said, ensure what you're looking for is not society approval of your person because they careless.

Now when you are with friends/colleagues relax yourself and avoid over- thinking before contributing in a group discussion. Avoid joining group of happening/rowdy guys, such settings suck you up the more and you might off permanently.

Lastly, action speaks louder than words and it impresses your personality in people's mind more - act well, do some little nice things for people and do keep a lively spirit.

Let me commence with a solemn declaration. I believe, without any doubt, that all humankind is created equal and in the image and likeness of God. No person is superior to the other by virtue of family background, race, ethnicity or gender.

So today’s article has nothing to do with the superiority of the male child over the female child. There is no such thing, or maybe it exists in the imagination of some people due to prehistoric and archaic prejudices. We need both sexes to perpetuate humanity, so both are equally important.

Put these male chauvinists making noise about the supremacy of the male child in an island without women for one year and they will run mad. I am only writing today’s article because God has given us the freedom of choice and if anybody has challenges exercising that freedom positively and you are in a position to help, please do just that.



Last week’s article, “Nigeria’s exponential Population” did generate much reaction on my social media pages. But one of the reasons given by a respondent for the exploding population did catch my attention. He said some couples give birth to more children than they originally planned or can cater for because they are looking for the “almighty” male child. This does not make sense to me, but a man has the right to make legal choices that make him happy. I have written considerably on this subject and will not duel on it wholesome today, but I will concentrate on naturally determining the sex of your baby.

Naturally preselecting the sex of your baby is no rocket science; it is the simple biology we all learnt in secondary school. Maybe, we just take it a little further. So it is painful to see couples unfulfilled, sad or breed like rabbits because they are looking for either a son or daughter, son most of the time. Today, I am giving an abridged version of steps (previously addressed in my column) that you need to take to naturally preselect the sex of your baby with stunning accuracy.

First, we must remember or know that the male sperms carry either X or Y chromosomes, while the female eggs carry only the X chromosomes. The egg carrying the X chromosome and the sperm carrying Y chromosome produce a male child, while the egg carrying the X chromosome and the sperm carrying X chromosome produce a female child. So a man determines the sex of a baby. You can now see that many husbands are just blaming their wives for results that they are wholly responsible for.

The sperm carrying the Y chromosome swims faster, but has a shorter lifespan while the sperm carrying the X chromosome is slower, but has a longer lifespan. If you want a male child, intercourse should take place just before or during ovulation. The faster sperms carrying the Y chromosome would get to the egg and fertilise it before the sperms with X chromosome make their slow and steady journey there. And only one sperm can fertilise an egg. If, however, intercourse takes three days (sometimes two days) or more before ovulation, the result will likely be a girl. This is because all the faster sperms carrying the Y chromosomes with short lifespan would have died leaving the egg for the slower sperms carrying the X chromosomes with longer lifespan to fertilise.

The critical elements here are ovulation, which occurs when an egg or ovum is released from the ovary and usually lasts for about 12 to 24 hours, and timing of intercourse. Ovulation normally occurs between the 12th to 14th day of a woman’s 28-day cycle, but like most human phenomena, there are no absolute certainties and it varies from one woman to another. Even within the same woman, there are variations. Many women find this unpredictability challenging. Such women can engage in charting, that is daily recording of changes in the mucus discharge from the vagina that is related to ovulation, to enhance predictability.

Please note that how long the sperm lives in the body of your wife after intercourse is determined by a number of factors. One, the vaginal environment is very important. If it is alkaline, the sperm carrying the Y chromosome can survive up to three day, while the sperm carrying the X chromosome can survive for five or six days. But if the vaginal environment is acidic, it is less habitable for the X and Y sperms and they die much earlier. That is why knowing the day of ovulation is very essential to pre-selection of the sex of your baby, because if you do, the vaginal environment, friendly or hostile, becomes inconsequential.

The other important factor is the health of the husband’s sperms. Studies have shown that the sperms of men decline both in quality and quantity from age 40. It is earlier for smokers. Lifestyle and the type of food you eat also influence the quantity and quality of sperms and ability to impregnate your wife. In fact, the egg does not accept every sperm that comes its way. It is very selective and attracted more to healthy sperms. This can be a challenge for men with weak sperms or low sperm count when they want to impregnate their wives, according to research findings.

You also need some discipline and cooperation between spouses if you want to naturally pre-select the sex of your babies. For a start, pre-selection is easier when the woman is practising natural family planning as against the use of artificial contraceptives, because artificial contraceptives disrupt the cycle of women, stopping ovulation or making ovulation more unpredictable, and you do need some level of predictability in the ovulation cycle to naturally preselect the sex of your babies

In addition, the couple needs to stay off intercourse for at least five days before ovulation. This is to ensure that residue semen in the woman’s body does not interfere with her vaginal discharge and create confusion. There are a number of natural ways women know they are ovulating: the thick slimy vaginal discharge which is like phlegm (catarrh, as some refer to it), some women feel a sharp pain on the side or lower abdomen when the egg is released, heightened sense of smell, breast soreness or tenderness, increased sexual urge and change in body temperature..
Just in case you are wondering why I write categorically on the efficacy of this method, I used it to preselect the sex of all my children, boys and girls accurately, so I know it is effective

His soccer success this year has aroused passion for a country that many people did not know before. Because of this, many were fooled by some alleged bikini photos that were shared on the internet . More than one was speechless with the beauty and figure of the supposed president.

This is totally FALSE . The woman in the photographs is not the president of Croatia, but Nico Coco Austin, an American model who spent some time posing for the Playboy cameras . Even, there is another image that same day that appears with her husband the rapper Ice-T.

The funny thing is that it is not the first time that people easily believe the lie . The first time these photos were shared on the internet with false information was in 2015. That year Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović had taken office as president and since then she has been confused with the model. Every once in a while this false news is shared again, and each time people fall again.

Inclusive strategies have been made to mix the false images with a real photograph of the president in a bathing suit . Too much effort to deceive people on the internet, apparently. This is the real picture:

A lot of injustice done to staff and contract staffs all in the name of no union allowed. They are now claiming they did not discourage staff from joining union, whereas they know that they have strict policies forbidding staff from joining or forming unions. Useless organisation. I worked there for years. At a particular time, MTN Nig.formed an outsourcing firm to take care of call center staffs welfare in MTN, all pensions and taxes were deducted from these staffs salaries, but were never remitted to the pension company. aside that, there were no medicals extended to staff family members. When the company was wound up, all the pension claims by these staffs were forfeited cos no union to fight for the staffs. On another occasion MTN contract staffs at the call centers were suddenly outsourced to an Indian slave driver firm called ISON BPO international who tells the staffs they would only pay N45,000 against N100,000 plus paid by MTN. The sad part is that MTN never intervened on this poor payment by their contractors forcing all the staffs to resign in their thousands. This is just few of the many injustices to staff. All these because u are not allowed to belong to unions as a staff. Stupid injustice!!!! That serves u well MTN.

These are all our creations or maybe our attempt to conceptualize what a perfect world would be like.
No suffering, No pain, no sadness, no want, no tears, no cold, no anger, aggression, fear and so forth
These are negative experiences we come across every day on earth. We somehow create an utopia that would do a way with them.

Imagine a perfect world.

Try as much as possible to imagine such a world.

there is no death.
no worries

Do they sound good?
Or do you understand that such a world is inherently flawed?

We may bask in the euphoria of a heavenly bliss or an earthly paradise where nothing negative ever resides.

But is this really a good thing?

Opposing concepts derive meaning from one another.

sadness and joy
tears and laugher

This is from whence the chinese philosophy derived the concept of Yin and Yang. Evil and good are forces that cannot do without the other. Without yin, Yang is useless and meaningless, vise versa, the only way they make sense is together.

If there is no up how does the concept of down make any sense?

So does a world where there are no suffering, pain, tears, needs, struggles make any sense?

No. it doesn't.

On earth, we are certain that we are going to die one day, that realizations makes the time we have precious to us.
We understand sadness and thus we appreciate joy
We understand pain, hence laughter is something we crave
We know suffering, success becomes soothing
We know lose, we appreciate opportunities.
We have wants and needs, we try as much as possible to achieve them therefore deriving a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Take the negative sides of life away, nothing makes sense anymore.

You cannot understand happiness if there is no sadness.
the concept of success shatters if failure is out of the picture.

So imagine a world without these negative sides, it will be a world devoid of every meaning, devoid of every essence or sense of fulfillment.

Imagine yourself in a perfect world.

Build a perfect world, a paradise or a heaven and put yourself into this world.

And then ask yourself and answer sincerely.

What exactly would i be doing in such a world?

Throw in the idea of forever as the case is for heaven. A billion trillion billion years, you have not even started. That is when you will understand that it is just void.

Bode Thomas, yes, the same Bode Thomas, whom the Surulere street was named after, died on Nov 23, 1953 in a most mysterious manner.

Bode Thomas was born to a wealthy trader, John thomas in 1918.
Himself, FRA Williams and Remi Fani-Kayode (Father of Femi Fani-Kayode) attended Law School in London, and they established the first law firm in Nigeria, called "Thomas, Williams and Kayode".
The law firm was established in Jankara, Lagos.

Bode Thomas was an excellent lawyer, but he was also very *arrogant*.

Because of his education, he was made chairman of the Oyo Divisional Council at one time, while the King of Oyo, Alaafin Adeyemi, (the father of the current Alaafin) was a mere member.

On Bode Thomas' first appearance in council after being appointed chairman, all council members stood up for him in deference, to welcome him, except Oba Adeyemi, who, for cultural reasons, should not show deference to anyone in public, not even his mother.

Bode Thomas rudely shouted at the King"...WHY WERE YOU SITTING WHEN I WALKED IN? YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SHOW RESPECT?"

At that time, Bode Thomas was 34 years, while the Alaafin was in his 60's.

The Alaafin felt very insulted. He said "SE EMI LO NGBO MO BAUN?" (Is it me that you are barking at like that?)
Bode Thomas responded by shouting some English sentences which the Alaafin didnt understand, so the Alaafin just told him... *"MA GBO LO"* *(continue barking)*.

The confrontation happened on November 22nd, 1953. Bode Thomas got home and started *barking*.

*He barked and barked and barked like a dog all night until he died in the early morning of November 23rd, 1953*.
Bode Thomas was the Balogun of Oyo.

*So, when next you drive on BODE THOMAS STREET in SURULERE, LAGOS, remember that man, who cut his own life short because of his arrogance and naughtiness*.

My children wouldn't forgive me if i bring them to this world while i can barely feed myself, Tufai! Even if i reach 60 i don't mind, If you can't even feed yourself or afford the basics luxury or needs for yourself then you have no business with a woman. I don't have to be Dagote or extremely rich, But at least be able to stand comfortably on your two legs without any support before you think of marriage. If it takes you 60 years to achieve that goal then you don't deserved to be in a relationship.

I know a guy who was married since he was 24 i think, has a kid now(He is 30+). Guess how much is his salary? 15k?! FIFTEEN BLOODY THOUSAND. For 6 years after marriage where is the progress? he has literary handed his life over to BET9JA. Good thing he only ended up with one kid despite all these years. He is never focused, he does all he can for meagre wages. Some stûpid employers are noticing his desperation and using him to the optimum! Works at night too, Farm on weekends but can never boost of even a 1k savings a month. As his money is coming in it is finishing in about two weeks. I won't be like him and bring babies into such situation when i didn't grow up in such. My children will curse me or i will just end up raising thieves. He is even better anyway, At least he is resilient. Some are even going into marriage unemployed, heaping the burden on their family or wife's family.

Please you are not in a race with anybody, If you reach 40 and still not married it's no body bloody business. If you get first child at 60 it's still no body bloody business, the ones they have have they taken care of them finish to be poke nosing about others. Do whatever you like so long as you don't regret it later.

It is wrong of you to assume the corper was not treated by the hospital in question, when infact she was...

1.The first photo shows that she has an IV line in her right arm....for fluids and blood transfusion, as well as an oropharangeal airway...for breathing...which tells me that basic life support has been commenced.

2.The second photo is obviously a chest tube, which was put into her chest to drain blood which most likely had colelcted in her chest as a result of the wounds sustained.

I realize our doctors and nurses and other medics have bad eggs amongst them, but it is false to assume that the hospital did nothing.

3.Also, if the bullets hit a major vessel, sometimes there is nothing that can be done.
