According to the little I know about the issue. A lawyer from the SE was appointed as the MD of NPDC, this was reluctantly accepted because the Lawyer was not competent on Oil and Gas affairs. Then, this Lawyer "dashed" (gave free of charge) the asset to a business man from the same SE. People sensed tribalism and paraposim hence, the wahala.
