I hope this is not the usual initial 'gra gra' from our legislators only to then see Koro confirmed in the end after some palms have been 'greased'. Nigeria needs to show the world it is not a completely insane nation run by shameless lunatics. It would be tragic for Nigeria, and a severe blow to our image, if Obanikoro ie eventually confirmed a Minister after the Ekitigate electing rigging tape scandal.

Our legislator , over an issue that is now in the universal public domain like the Chibok kidnapping, need to show the world their autonomy, decency and uprightness by standing up to a rogue President who now appears disinterested in toeing the path of honour and administrative morality.

In as much as am Pro-GEJ, to be sincere am really disappointed in GEJ for nominating Obanikoro after his rigging video has gone viral. Though he has not been declared guilty by the law court or convicted, its not right @ all.. Sometimes I wonder the kind of advisers GEJ has and if he is even wise @ all.... #OnlyInNigeria

This is my major problem with GEJ, he always show this kind of ' I don't care" attitude to issues that are germane to the populace. How can a right thinking and caring president submit the name of someone accused with glaring evidence of rigging election for ministerial position? At least even if you don't want him going to jail, at least don't flaunt him as if he is untouchable. GEJ to me epitomises and personified inefficiency. Sai Buhari joor!
